Been a big fan of Thalappakatti biryani and we frequently visit this outlet being close to L&T’s Manapakkam campus. Great ambience, parking space for a 3-4 cars in front of the outlet, good cleanliness and decent customer service. This is the defacto place for us for corporate dine outs. :)I’ve had the ‘egg karandi’ from this outlet before but they haven’t been serving this dish for quite some time now and that has been a huge disappointment for some of us. My veggie friends say the vegetarian dishes aren’t that great but no complaints for the non-vegetarian dishes that we’ve ordered till date.

Just loved the chicken 65 biryani and paneer manchurian.This restaurant actually has retained the authentic taste of the biryani.I have ordered online.The biryani received was very hot and tasty too.Normally now a days in many restaurants the chicken pieces are hard but here it was soft,juicy,hot,tasty and spicy.Mostly in non-veg restaurants veg dishes are rarely tasty but here we ordered paneer manchurian wallah the taste was heaven .It was very very soft tasty.Just loved it.The portion size/quantity was also too good.

Visited this outlet. Ordered and took away the food due to corona fear. Ordered chicken biryani and moru moru chicken. One of the top rated recipe moru moru chicken. 9.5 /10 would be my rating for this dish. Chicken biryani taste was good overall good. I would recommend this place

No Biryani after 7 pm...Really disappointed. We were told that all Biryani was over. But somehow two lucky customers who came after my family ordered and received chicken 65 biryani which s my favourite :( Then we had inquired abt it. They said just now fresh Biryani has been delivered after we ordered and it got over within 5 mins due to huge volume of online orders.

Same as every thalappakatti. Same authentic and distinctive taste. I personally felt like black pepper chicken is a tad better in this outlet.

Lovely ambience.Tasty very good. With a lot of variety. Earlier i like karandi omelet here,which is a speciality south tamil nadu. Now a days, it is not available here.I felt the quantity has also reduced considerably. Spicy chicken curry was very nice. Chicken 65 Briyani is my favourite. I recommend to everyone.

🙄This is one of the worst branch I have visited in chennai.👎 Went there on sunday afternoon for buying biryani and chicken lollipop. It was so crowded and there is no waiting place for takeaway customer everyone was standing on the the path and near the bill counter. Finally after an hour i got my parcel and which was totally pathetic because i ordered dry chicken lollipop but they gave saucy lollipop to notify this i called to the branch but no one picked up the call and which was even more pathetich then I had to complaint to the DT customer care regarding this issue🤦‍♂️👍 The biryani is as usual tasted good but the chicken lollipop was disasterFood: 3/5Ambience : 2/5Service :1/5

The service was literally poor. The staff had no attention on us. We had call him multiple times to get our order and worst part is we had to wait for 20 minutes to get the bill. But for the taste of the restaurant, I will give a 5⭐. 1 ⭐ for service.

It seems the standard has fallen. Usually I get good fried rice from this hotel. Today when ordered they gave me fried rice for take out which smelled like rotten. When questioned they said the rice was overcooked and the package made gave bad odour.And my briyani had old raita which was also smelling bad.When asked for refund they said they have to contact headquarters for refund. Really!!!!However, the front desk staffs were polite and they gave another replacement food instead of the bad one.Too many customers and quality is spread thin.

Easy to locate bang on the road with parking facilities. Ambience average. Took sometime to serve, a few common dishes in the menu were not available. Mutton biryani ( special because its boneless) was spicy and outstanding & hardly 3 pieces of meat. Disappointing. The mitron gravy that came with the biryani was good.Morumoru prawns out of the world, amazing stuff with the mayo, though very few pieces, its a must try there. Malabar parotta was like chappathi, the bearer was so friendly and polite, was so quick to rectify and replaced me with nool parotta, which was amazing.

We have ordered pepper barbecue with bone less mutton biryani.Pepper barbecue is awesome but in biryani the mutton is semi cooked condition .its really disappointed us .

Worst Briyani I had ever in my life. Ordered a mutton bucket briyani- Family pack.1. The restaurant was within 1 Km from my home but briyani was served chilled.2. Mutton rice proportion was not good, hardly had 4-5 pcs only.3. Onion raitha was not freshly made. It was refrigerated and served.Overall its a bad experience and will not order again. I have wasted 1900 rs!!!

But for starters you got a lot of different dishes available, where moru moru chicken and thee pori lollipop are my favorites... seems like the tastes are getting a little decreasing when compared to the recent times... I have ordered chicken 65 Biriyani and pepper barbecue. Biriyani tastes good. Quantity was less. the chicken 65 in Biriyani was oily and more flour. Pepper barbecue was more spicy, which I like the most. Rest room could have been cleaner. Parking is okay.

I just loved the place more than the food. The ambience was good it was neat and tidy even the waiters and servers were very good and service though. BBQ chicken tastes like anything just loved the favour. Biriyani as usual no complains. Liver fry wasnt that good in taste and brain fry was good but overpriced. Altogether good food and service but expensive too.

But the biriyani is not not good in taste fully oil I think is the last stage biriyani pieces also not good no taste, chicken noodles one of the worst ever it is not meet the taste to the road side fast food centre. Only they are responding to the online services like Zomato, swiggy like tat. They are not Mainly focusing to the dining people very worst service. I have returned the noodles & canceled the order. Only ambience is good. Food is disappointing. Gave us old stock paaya soup and mutton Biriyani has hardly any pieces in it.

The food we ordered was not good. It was below average. Not sure whether it was just on the day I went or is it was just because most of the dishes we ordered was vegetarian. The rest rooms did not have soap to wash hands or tissues. Overall experience was disappointing. Hopefully it is better the next I happen to visit.

Good for family or friends...!My only complaint is about quantity...the portion of Briyani is just not enough...they serve it in a bowl right...just take out the egg and the chicken piece out of the pot in which they serve and fill it up with briyani...and it will be perfect...! 👌👍

Non veg items will be served little late, because cooking time will take more 😊I liked babycorn Manchurian little spicy and hot n sour soup too much spicy 😁😁😁.Non veg dishes are were good whatever my colleague ordered except fish finger. Salt was less, we asked him to replace, they did and it was tasted very good 😀😀😀.Desert option were less and bit costly also, better drink juice or lassi or buttermilk to beat the spicy food 😁😁😁.

Bad service, went on my fasting day, ordered for two plates iddiyappam thinking it would suffice my (veg) dinner. iddiyappam provided with two spoons gravy . I told that this wouldnt be sufficient for two plates of iddiyappam. After few mins he brought another gravy which was salty. I told him its not good asked for alternate kurma. after few mins he brought sambar which was not expected I called the manager narrated the whole story and then finally he brought non veg gravy and forcing me to have it. I cancelled and came out without paying.

This is situated in the main place & so it is easily accessible. Tasty dishes and good service. Restaurant has more space for team gatherings and moderately occupied during weekdays. On weekends and holidays it is crowded and need to wait.Has enough place to park vehicles 2 wheelers or 4 wheelers.Certain things need to be improved upon: Wash place is kept untidy, leakage of water & more over no water in the taps. Bucket Biryani is not authentic, they use a different rice variety on those. Of late, I have become a big fan of Golden Leaf Restaurant Manapakkam mutton biryani. It is the best Zeera Samba biryani Ive ever tasted.

Good non vegetarian restaurant.Ordered one mutton briyani, once chicken briyani, one chicken fried rice and and chicken lollipop.Serving the food in the banana leaf is their speciality.Server is very polite and respectful... He served the food as per our requirement..Briyani is made out of seeraka samba rice which is quite popular and famous in Madurai...Taste is yummy and we cant stop taking it.Cost is on a bit higher side but worth for the quality food...Give a try once if you wish to try the south Tamilnadu briyani...

Best pepper barbeque across all the places I have eaten. A very good mutton briyani. Moru moru chicken is also good but slightly more oily. Other items are nominal. Slightly costlier than a normal restaurant, but totally worth it. Approx 300 per person.

Worst experience. They gave muttom kuzhambu as soup...such absurdity. They think their customers are fools! Everything we ate was reheated and old and dry..like it was a leftover from the previous week. I entered with full hunger and felt beyond disappointed. We ate full Biriyani as slowly but still we not recived the chicken 65, we also waited extra 20 min for my order, but no use. After that we asked for bill, i never saw like this....the bill also delayed. So after we recived the bill aftet 15 to 20 min. The bill not has the chicken 65, we came to know that the not said our order to their food team.........very very very very worst service ever.......they giving water only after we asked.And the biriyani was also not at the good level.....its old............I think FSSAI should raid this place for their Food maintainence ...
