The hotel has been there for a long time. Its at a bit so busy road but with good connectivity. My friend held his wedding reception there. The hall was decent for a small gathering. Never been to the restaurant. The bar has a dark atmosphere. Not much varieties in terms of drinks. Food items are priced decently. Has a decent car parking.

Worst hotel . Don’t step in. It’s not a hotel a cheap lodge but highly priced. Worst service, stinking rooms, dirty restrooms. They will make you wait for minimum 1.30hrs inspite of prepaid bookings . Rude behaviour by front desk it’s happened not only to me and I saw other clients too complaining and asking for refunds. Staffs not bothered about who goes and comes in.

Bar is open. But bar canteen is not open. Only complimentary side dishes are available now.

The receptionist is rude, room boy is very good. It’s an okay place to stay. Can be maintained better. Oldest Noisy AC and broken taps. The bathroom is exposed to outside world (recommended a proper window) . Okay for bachelors and must avoid for family. Good car parking area.

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Room and bathroom are very bad. Cant even enter into the room.Room smells very bad.A/C outdoor unit is full of dust. Its an old property not at all maintained. shady rooms unclean bed covers and bathroom. but for purpose of transit few hours stay at a low cost near the airport its ok and serves the purpose. most important ola and uber cabs are nearby and available all night long. so it seved my purpose. but if the management does good maintainece and ensures cleanliness it definitely would be worth staying.

Avoid if possible.. Stayed for 5 nights.. Lift didnt work during the whole period.. Front desk people were not cooperative at all.. Room service very very slow.. Breakfast for all 5 days is same.. Cockroaches run around freely in restaurant.. Hence avoid if possible..

Good place. Around 10 minutes walkable distance from St. Thomas Mount Metro station. And just 15-20 minutes drive from Chennai International Airport which is very convenient.Good vehicle parking facility. Overall good experience. Staff was very helpful.However elevator wasnt working at the time. And washroom werent pristine clean.

Amazing hotel, with a beautiful mini hall on the first floor. The Air-conditioned mini hall was just right for the event. Didnt have a chance to dine in the restaurant, but the rooms were kinda good for small groups. Hotel also has quite a amount of parking space.

Bed was a breathtaking, but washroom was a disaster. Not hygienic enough. But the bedroom decor was romantic.

Small rooms, cockroaches and insects in room. Reception guys are clueless. Have to ask for bath towel and bed sheet replacement multiple times. Elevator wasnt working. We ordered food alacarte and it was OK. Starters and soup were good. Rotis were muti layered and thick. Maintenance is almost not there.. Only one power point to recharge the phone, greaser wasnt working. Property has parking space for around 10 cars and is quite close to airport. Property was easy to find. Thanks to Google.

Good place to drink with Ur frnds.Service is good but the cost of drink little more than our expectation. They offer a rooms and tie up with oyo. Unmarried couples are allowed. Worst experience. Only the outerview of the hotel is nice. You will find people with liquor around in walking passage so you will feel unsafe at times. The washroom seems to be never cleaned for years with the worlds oldest and rusted taps, tiles. The way to the room seems halfway like haunted. The lifts are so old like you are on Imagica ride which u will feel like ur have been dropped and frightened as ur life at risk. The telephone was not working and I asked them multiple of time but no one reached to get that fixed. The washroom tap was not working.

Cleanliness of the room is not good. As we enter inside room we can smell urine and cigarette smoke. Toilets are very nasty and stained, the flushing system is not working. The hotel policy is not allowing the guests to bring outside food or drinks to their premise. The gusts has to eat from their own restaurant. I didn’t ate from there. So I don’t know about the quality of the food. The staff are not friendly or courteous. We cannot expect gently behaviour from goons.

Nice hotel rooms not very much clean

Very bad maintainance. The bed linens are not clean and has a lot of stains. The toilets in the rooms r very smelly n the fixtures in the bathroom are v old n rusty. The free breakfast is very poor quality. The rate they charge for this kind of rooms are very expensive. If we just pay Rs.100 or 200 more, can get cleaner n better quality rooms and service. Regret staying here for 2 nights. Luckily we managed to change to other hotel room!

This hotel also deals with tourism.We had booked a package one for Balaji Darshan which cost us Rs.18000.They gave us XYLO instead of INNOVA car which was promised in the package but we wanted to complete our tour so we compromised. On the way the driver told us the car doesnt have any charger or the AUX cable, which we informed to manager but nothing was done and driver asked us to buy a cable of our own for the journey. The driver behaviour was much rude and then he started quarreling over small things like not to keep your foot here and there and then asked us to keep the air conditioning of back side at least at two points because it was switched off at the back side, we told him that we are feeling cold but he started quarreling over and over again, and said this is my car, and then there was only loud shouting voices I could hear in the car. We calm down and let it go because we were only starting our journey and I didnt want any mess. Then after the Darshan on our way back at the outskirts of Chennai there was a check post where police stopped us. First the driver went to talk to them then Inspector called us and told us that this is a private car which has an insurance expired in 2016. I was already tired and had family with me but we were stuck there because the hotel provided us vehicle which had both fitness test and insurance expired in 2016. Then out of suprise another vehicle INNOVA was caught there which had the exact same issue, inspector told us that the owner of both the vehicles are same. We asked the passengers that much it had cost to them. They said Rs.13000 for the very same package. And the Inspector told us that the genuine rate is only Rs.9000 - Rs.10000.We tried to call the hotel manager which he didnt answer and then we called hotel reception and told them the situation and then the manager get back to us which was clearly the sign that he was avoiding our call. The hotel management there totally lack professionalism. After he talked to us he said another vehicle will be coming in 5-10mins which came after 40mins and it was an old TAVERA and guess what we had to take the driver of XYLO car which us which we were okay with it until he started to pick up a fight with us again. He just came in and sit on the front sit of the car where our family member was sitting and ordered to go and sit at back. We were totally annoyed but so tired that didnt want to pick a fight then we shut the door and sit in the car on which he started shouting to close the door in a proper manner or get out of the car. We calm down ourselves and let it go then they stopped by in the middle of journey to take their food but we were so annoyed said nothing and sit quietly in the car because we already had waited at check post for 2 Hours and it was already around 10pm. Next day we had flight around 1-2pm. We check out then here comes the shameless hotel management to ask for the remaining money of the package. We told them that we will only pay fir the traveling fuel cost and the expenses which were made like food and toll tax and asked them to deduct the money from it and tell us the remaining balance he said you have to pay whole amount. Just reminding they were already charging Rs.18000 which that other passenger we met at the check post with the better vehicle and driver from same travel agency the hotel dealt with costs Rs.13000.We gave him another choice to give a one line written that they have taken action against it which was refused. He said we have taken action and if you want proof talk to travel agency. The management said we wont allow you to go until so pay and called security. The security guy keep hopping in the cabin. We were already getting late for our flight and didnt want to miss our flight so didnt go for Police complaint. We paid the whole amount and left.

First of all, the stairway is completely haywire. Safety is a bit concerning in case of an emergency (especially the top floors).I booked through oyo , so breakfast was complimentary. The bathroom hose was broken. But the other things like bed ,ac seemed alright.But the best thing is, its location near the airport (5-10minutes).You have St.Thomas mount metro station just a 5min walk from here. So its well connected if you have to visit the core places in chennai.Overall experience 5/10.

An old bar attached hotel, close to Chennai Airport. The room was spacious and moderately clean, but bathroom was a bit shabby and fitting were old. But when compared to the rate, it is worth. Some of the staffs were slow while some were easy to deal. The hotel doesnt permit outside food and visitors, which we felt a bit odd.

Rooms are decent. Service is not good. In our rooms bathroom flush was not working. So we asked them to either repair or change our room. They told us that they will repair it but they did not.

I booked this hotel in an emergency situation by 11.30 night through Oyo .They immediately accepted and provided the stay 👍.where my previous Oyo bookings where neglected by the hotel saying that they cancelled the tie up with Oyo .Check out time can be extended in a smoother way.Kind people at reception and room service .The rooms and interiors were okay.Food is available 24 hours.Reasonable rates.

First of all, everytime I call them, they are asking my particulars even after booking through oyo. Then, the room was not cleaned well before we checked in. We were not provided with a mineral water bottle. The bathroom flush was still not working even after complaint. The door handle is ill fitted.

24/7 check in and room service! Rooms are very well maintained, while check in, the representative will guide along us to our room and will explain all the services available, like how to open rooms, how to operate TVs, how to switch on/off AC, and everything hell guide us! Chinese food items like fried rice and noodles are available 24/7 with customisation! Room service and accomodation is great but food is not up to the mark! Fried rice was great the last night since I was on hunger! 😀 The next day morning I had south Indian food at downstairs restaurant, but unfortunately its not that great! Idlies were too hard, vada was very crispy which is not at all Satisfied! Other food items might be good enough, but I didnt try that! South Indian foods are available for 175 bugs, buffet system including hot brevages! Worth for money! But however room service and accomodation are very great! Had a great experience with mount hera! But one query is like there is no one available at parking side, to guide us where to park, no security guards available any time, we need to do it on our own. Thats it!

Capital O has failed terribly with this hotel. It has a ample parking and Is located in a decongested area .But this hotel was literally demanding us original ID proofs whic we may not have sometimes. Their rooms were below average with sickening Smell in washrooms .Room service is terrible .Their complimentary breakfast is like for beggers. Despite of all these the tarrif is so high.A big NO to this hotel.

Horrible Experience. I booked via OYO Rooms. When i approached the reception They Refused to give the room first. The Receptionist Guy he told me to go and find some other rooms near here. I said I dont want your advice. Then i called oyo captain after almost one hour Verbal Fighting they ready to give the room.. They reason they refused the room they said some internal issues ...Guys dont waste your time... Go to find good oyo roooms except this **** Barbarians Hotel...

Has large parking space. The room size was small. Little walking space. Bathroom facilities were not good. Has bar and restaurant. I havent tried. Busy MKN road is near by to avail services

I stayed there last week. Location is good, closer to Airport. Cleanliness - zero. Broken windows and too many mosquitoes. Even the toilet door couldnt be closed. Mattress had stains and it was totally ugly.

Only the reception look is fine... For basic needs you should always call reception.. like towel.. water.., a/c issues.. and we have waited for more than 1hr for water after calling the reception multiple times... Pathetic service from them..

Not even worth a star ! One of the worst places I have been. Did my sons first birthday party at the banquet hall. Though the hall was really big the service was poor. The complimentary rooms were pathetic. Dirty and old interiors reeking with alcohol. Not a place to stay for families. Too pricey for a shabby service.

Stayed at this hotel on 14th March. Abysmal experience. Lots of random rules which have not been mentioned anywhere online. This hotel misleads you. The lift is not working. It doesnt allow food from any delivery services. Overall a sad experience.

I was so unfortunate to book a room through oyo at this hotel, the condition of the roo. Was terrible so as the cleanliness.I had a biriyani for lunch. Half cooked meat which I have not touched after a bite and a glas of lemon soda at 75 rupee .... seriously ????

The best hotel with very reasonable rates of rooms and food the restaurant is clean and well maintained and the rooms are tidy ac is perfect bathrooms are neat bed arranged well everything is good at very reasonable rates and their paneer biryani in restaurant is a must try for everyone...

Ambience is not so good

Fine for taking rest, clean bed with ac. The elevator did not work. Stinky reception area. Good parking for 4 wheelers. Vegetarian restaurant not close by. Good for the money but not fancy.

You might experience difficulty if you have a lot of luggage because they dont have anyone to help and the lift seems to be strategically placed a large distance from the reception. Dont expect the staff to provide the basic toiletries and even drinking water for that matter. The TV has only one channel- naaptol. The food isnt that good and you cant order online. The place is fine only if you just need a place to sleep.

Variety was not there in the weekend. Not only in drinks but also in side dishes.

The hotel is in a good location. Parking space available. I booked a room using OYO. Usually hotels will have separate standards for OYO rooms, but the room offered to me was not clean and the smell was intolerable. On questioning about the room conditions they gave me another room and that was good.Edit: This review is for my second visit. I came back after a year assuming that there will be some changes and improved service, but no they havent changed. It is still the same smelly, not properly cleaned rooms with broken bathroom fixtures. I guess they focus only on Bar customers. They charged ₹30 for a bottle of water (MRP is only ₹20).

Mobile tower connectivity issue to be improved. Taste of food quality shall be improved. Parking slot to be constructed with multilevel auto mechanical system to handle additional visitor cars.

We went for dinner in Kabab Factory here. Have enjoyed their veg menu. So much stuff in the starter itself. Amazing staff members helping the guests on giving detailed info on each and every item.Our clients enjoyed the non veg menu very much. They couldnt beleive that the starters are not the main course.A magician came to every table to show some extraordinary tricks which was another amazing thing.Worth for the price? - dont ask me as my company paid the bill 😛

No room service, dirty room, very dirty restroom, food is costly tea- rs 58, normal water bottle rs.32 but no quality, very waste reception, blanket not washed, untreated rain water is coming in tap, receptionist not responding even deaf dum will respond me but they dont.Finally ill not recommend mount Heera hotel even to my enemy.3 days stay amount rs 4200, I wasted that amount, even I give it to beggar I would be happy.

Recommendable only if you stay for a night. Opt with breakfast while booking otherwise food is too costly like 3 star hotel. They didnt provide any kit. So carry your own Brush, toothpaste and soap. Parking is available. TV doesnt have enough channels only local channels.

Oh yea the actual 90s era hotel which survives till date thanks to its location and proximity to the airport. The metro and local train is just a couple of minutes walk away. Cleaniness should be improved. Staffs are ok. Parking is just enough for the guest to the hotel.

This is about the bar, and liquor servicees. Service of customer is not that much good. The atmosphere is dull and looks peaceful for a person to drink and relax. Side dish they can improve the dishes with some quality foods. As far normal bar for a drink but expensive may be because of GST.

Worst hotel to stay in. These guys do not have any sense of customer service. Be here if you want to stay in a lodge type condition. ACs are not working, bathrooms are not at all clean and the room service is awesome, so much so that if these guys wanted, they would have asked me to clean my room and washroom. I visit this hotel only for Bar. It is the only neat and good bar near my residence otherwise not a great hotel. Lot of rooms available to stay and near by Chennai airport at a very reasonable price.

A good place to hang out for a drink. The accompaniments are fairly decent. Nominally priced for an air conditioned environment. The food can be better though. The choice of the spirits are decent.

Avoid this place like the plague! To begin with , I approached the check in counter and was told they didnt know they had my  booking.  Then they go on to check in another set of customers while Im still waiting.  Then Im shown a room that I honestly wouldnt keep my pets in. I request to be shown another room. They did show me another room which I was ok with. However,  2 minutes later was advised that the room they showed me was booked.Why show it to me then. So my options were then to either take the horrible room or cancel.  While this was what was happening with me , my wife waiting at the lobby experienced another grand sight. One of the workers seemed to pull a drain  cap in the passageway from the foyer to the restaurant and a dozen or so cockroaches came sprawling out. This was it; we cancelled and went elsewhere.

When called Sangeetha she is telling that she have other works to do.. then what Im asking for???? This was the best place for me to stay in Chennai but now I feel this is not the place... Worst hotel . too much expensive. The room in which we stayed charged rs 3000 but has no television, the electrical fittings were half broken. The complementary breakfast is too poor. The rooms are untidy the bathroom is also very much poor condition. Please avoid this hotel.

I visited Bar of this Hotel.Its on the terrace floor of the Hotel.An old styled Bar and very light on the pocket.This Hotel has ample parking facility and is nearby to Chennai Airport.

Is in close vicinity to the Madras Menambakkam, domestic airport and international airport, is the member of OYO group of hotels, provides, ac, tv, mineral water, hot water, western style lavoratory, oyo wifi service unlimited, as well as hotel wifi limited to couple of hours. Airport is at a distance of 15 to 20 minutes by road from the hotel. Average price range. Also has restaurants, mostly bar and restaurant serving both north and south indian veg and non veg dishes.

Room number 310 was in very bad condition. We compromised on the fact as it was 2am already and we had to crash for next days meetings. Bed sheet was in very bad condition. Dirty bath towels were given (upon asking). No dustbin at the room. Dirty bathroom fittings. This was the worst OYO I ever stayed. OYO is losing control on quality aspects of partner hotels.
