🙏🏻Om Namo Narayana 🙏🏻The temple is located in Mogappair West which is a busy are at present. We can say that this temple is nearly same as going to Thirumala Thirupathi Temple. The statue of God, the design of garbagraha looks unique as it is in TTD. The main deity is nearly 9.5 to 10 ft in height who looks gigantic when getting nearer. It is quite a peaceful place to worship lord Venkateswara with resembles TTD.Govinda ! Govinda !

A very famous temple in Chennai located at Mogappair. Not so easily visible from the main road. A very good temple to seek blessings of Lord Ganesh, Lord Balaji, Goddess Thayaar, Goddess Andal, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ayappan, Lord Navagraha etc. Usually Saturday is most crowded. Daily, lot of prasadams (pongal, tamarind rice, curd rice etc) are being distributed. A separate place for keeping footwear and wash area for legs is available. The only most difficulty is parking of two wheeler and cars.(esp Saturday). Lot of flower shops are available at the entrance of the temple.

For My Surprise, I am allotted plots behind the Perumal temple,in August 1997 though, EWS Area, I am happy to be in the footsteps of the Perumal, Who allotted my living here...From where i could see the Gopuram..both.. To reach the temple from Kovalam you need to take share auto(15rs) for 1 person. They will directly stop you in path of the temple road. Procedure you have to follow before entering the temple for delay in marriages. Every shop people know very well about the rituals so tell them you need to do pooja for the nagar. You will find a pond there. You can get pooja materials from the shop also get puffed rice from the shop there for the fishes in the pond. Feeding the fishes is one of the beautiful moments at the temple. Be careful while youre doing this as the pond floor is slippery. After feeding the fishes spray pond water in your head and wash your hands and face. Now go to the Nagar vigraha offer the pooja materials, tie mangal sutra to vigraha and pray for your issues. Now go to the same shop and buy a flower garland. Wear the garland on you and go to the Hanuman temple on the way pray to hanuman by lighting jodi agal vilakku and breaking 🥥 coconut. Go around the temple for three times. Now without removing the garland go to main temple where Varaghar has lakshmi on the left side of his shoulder. (Garland should be removed only when you come out of the temple ). First go see Ganesh. Next start with lakshmi dont forgot to see the kalyana kumbam on top. During the COVID situation people were not allowed to wear garland and go inside the temple. After worshipping all the deities when you come out of the temple feed banana for the cows. Remove the garland and hang in a airy space at home after 3 days or 3 months once your Marriage is confirmed come to the temple with you partner and leave the withered garland to the pond. Visit the main diety with garland and offer thanks.

The Santhana Srinivasa Perumal Temple is located in Vellalar Street, Mogappair West, Chennai. The temple is around 2 km away from the Mogappair West bus terminus. Take the Karnan Street from the main road to reach the temple. Situated in the quaint town of Mogappair (which means blessed with a child), it is believed that the main shrine of the temple possess the magical power of granting parenthood. Owing to this strong belief, many childless couples visit the temple and offer prayers to the Lord. Many have benefited and have been blessed with a child after visiting the shrine of Sri Santhana Srinivasa Perumal. The temple is also a home ground to many religious festivals like the Brahmotsavam when it is decked with decorative items. Many people queue up to catch a glimpse of the garlanded and embellished Lord and his consort which during this time period are moved out of the temple premises. The Santhana Srinivasa Perumal Temple is dedicated to Sri Vishnu as Santhana Srinivasa Perumal along with Divine Mother Shakti as Santhana Lakshmi Thayar.
