Ultimate dining experience and I am glad to give it 5 🌟 on all accounts. We stepped in after 10:45 at night after a tiring day shopping. Food was excellent 👌 to say the least. Specific mention to mutton raan. Correct me if I have spelled it wrong. Place was crowded and we had to wait for a good 15+ minutes before being seated. However, the wait was worth for the taste and service at this place. Will try to post pictures of it if possible a little later.

Hats-off! This is the best restaurant Ive tried till date, Im highly impressed with the quality that it offers. Almost all the dishes that we ordered had hardly anything that we could complain about, all of them were cooked perfectly. This was my first restaurant try-out in Chennai and Im blissed by what it turned out to be, and its not that expensive. Would highly recommend it.👍🏼

The wise choice for those who prefer non veg food if you’re around EA. Quite good by all means. Nice service either. But the air conditioning in the waiting lounge has to be improved. Too hot particularly when there’s a long wait.

Today we had a party in Zaitoon and had bulk order....two items that we ordered where really pathetic and was of zero quality.....mutton biriyani and mushroom fried rice.....the rest of dishes where ok....but these two items where of minimal quality...mutton piece was not edible.....and taste was horrible....plus mushroom fried rice without mushroom......we informed it to boy who took order....we almost ordered 11 items.....rest some dishes where good and some was normal.....even we where not able to eat this we just kept it especially mutton biriyani.....when bill came they put full amount and told next time they will take care ...at least they would have talked in a good manner but unfortunately they got angry when we explained about food.....who is going to come to your hotel one more time......

Outstanding taste with a varied assortment of dishes. Totally worth the money spent. The view out of its windows presenting a pleasing scenery of the Express Avenue mall is astounding, especially in the evening. Whether you arrive as a couple or as a large group, theres a good seating arrangement available.

My home is near to that restaurant, they didnt delivered to me bt they took deliver fr central along with my food, I paid 1000+ something its totally waste... Food is totally spoiled. Decided to pop by this place for dinner, just opp Gate 6 of Express Avenue. We ordered Chicken Bell pepper, Lamb Rogan Josh and Tandoori Chicken (half). This cost us Rp$1,320.1. Chicken Bell pepper - was spicy even if we were told it was not, was too oily for my liking. 2. Rogan Josh - didn’t really fancy their version, tasted like a thicker version of lamb curry3. Tandoori chicken - was the highlight for me. Wish I had ordered more.If you are a small eater, order less rice. We ordered 2 portions of rice for 3 adults and 1 child.

The Best Place in Royapettah, Food was awesome, Serving was very Gud. But there is a place issue they have very low seats peoples are keep on coming so u cant eat peacefully, I love the windows seats. And price are nominal. TRY IT Guyz.

Food - The food is just 😍. No words! Especially the kulcha and the paneer butter masala are a must try. All food items are remarkable. Every kind. Its a must visit. They deliver the food fast too. Even if you order many items or there is a rush. They take around 10 minutes but the orders keep coming up without keeping you await.Ambience - Its pleasant and nice there. It is just opposite to the EA mall, so you can visit after your dinner or vice versa. Many families come to visit that place. It is an ultimate marvel.

Expected to be a good one, but not upto my expectations.. And price is a bit higher...Ordered Spicy Shezwan Fried Rice and Dragon Chicken spicy..but it was not even a bit spicy, when asked the person over there, they replied that its the spicy variant 🙄My reaction was 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Went to Zaitoon with my Friends for a celebratory dinner. The range of food and tastes was amazing, the food just kept coming with a great selection for vegetarians and non-vegetarians and those who love sea food and those who dont. The waiters were helpful in explain each dish and recommending what we should try without being too forceful. Friends enjoyed the meal and well done to the waiters for dealing with a party of 28 of us at relatively short notice.

A group of five people on a Monday evening arrived to indulge in the Arabian kitchen. The menu is so widely spreaded that youll for sure get confused what to order and what not to, and end up ordering a wrong combination of dish as I ordered the Roti Basket. Tried and tasted the Mexican Chicken Shawarma plate. Comparatively it is not as good as the Chicken Shawarma roll. BBQ 5 in 1 Platter was not so delicious but was good and enough quantity for the pricing. Chicken Aftabi and Mixed Schezwan Rice won the table of the delicious food. Roti basket was too much of breads for such low price. Overall experience of food and dining is for 4 stars. Recommended!

Good Ambience / Super Taste

Zaitoon is known for its authentic Arabian cuisine, has many branches in Chennai. This one situated right opposite express Avenue, is hard to miss. The decor and ambience is very average, and I felt that too many tables were crammed up in the small restaurant. Nevertheless, when we stopped by for late lunch at 3 pm, the place was over filled. We had a Shawarma, some rotis, and malai kofta, and were satisfied. There was nothing too exquisite about the food, but the prices were minimal. However, it is indeed a great place for barbecue and chicken lovers, who have a variety to pick from!

This was my first visit to zaitoon rayapettah upon recommendation from my wife and it ticked all the boxes. Great food, great service, great ambience. Definitely a place to enjoy authentic and thank specially ..Mr kajal gosh.. to great service thanks and keep it up

The place serves some amazing dishes. Especially i liked the Kerala Poratta and Chettinad Chicken curry.The place can get really crowded. I was there earlier so finding a place was no problem . But i saw a line of people waiting to be seated on a Sunday afternoon around 13:00hrs.

Definitely not the best of chicken Biryani...chicken is quite elastic...add on are good. Wouldnt mind skipping the biryani...didnt get to chance its huge list of other specialities

Worst Service for the third time after ordering the menu agreed to provide but after some time denied stating that menu not available whereas this incident happened third time Sunday for the past three visit the executive denied to provide chicken biryani after taking order. I had forwarded my feedback to zaitoon for further help. Totally dissatisfied and forwarded my complaint only on third attempt. Also sizzling brownie hot chocolate is not very hot like last time we had at zaitoon totally two sizzling brownie with hot chocolate ordered but one is hto and another one is cold not even medium hot we had a worst experience this Sunday 04th March 2018 @ 07:45pm to 08:50 pm for cash bill amount of ₹2195/- of . Totally dissatisfied with zaitoon at woods road Royapettah opposite to express avenue for the third time.
