Their dosai.can was the one that pull the crowd in.Its very difficult to reach this place by car as its in a crowded area.Yeah its a street food shop, though its have not good ambience of cleanliness

Much crowded usually around 8 to 10 PM. Nevertheless awesome customer service though crowded. The person delivering the food was so nice to all. On his own customised our food. More than anything quality, taste and quantity was awesome 😎 worth spending time here.

The taste of the food was pretty good. One of the softest idlies in town. They have a reasonable variety in dosas and idlies. The service is kind and quick. The only reason for giving the place a 3 star is for the cleanliness.

Just enjoy the hot podi uththappam and podi idly with ghee.Dont think about the reviews.

Today visited see seena bhai tiffin center situated in NSC Bose road. Their favourite and signature dish is ghee podi onion Uthappam. The amount of ghee they used to cook is huge. They also have mini podi idli. They give mint chutney and kara chutney. Set ghee podi dosa inr 60. Taste was awesome and I would recommend this place

Recent days the same quality is not there, they need to bring back the original taste.

Good food but not up to the hype, you can eat one time thats it. Friendly staff. No sambar available, only chutney ( watery) is available.

The Podi dosai and the Podi idly they serve is a unique offering. Specially the chutney the offer makes it all the more innovative dish you ever will have. Yes, they dont serve the usual Sambar + Chutney.The taste is rare, as well as the experience here.Great place to have a street, specially on Sundays, other days parking and accesiblity becomes a challenge

Was a bit skeptical in the beginning looking at the place, but boy was I wrong! The person at the front, uncle, was damn sweet & just could not help pouring more & more ghee & podi on the idli! We had podi idli & podi uttapam, both were damn tasty & worth every penny paid! The experience was amazing, will definitely visit back when in Chennai next time.

This is the 1st time we visited the Seena Bhai tiffen center . The place was over crowded , it took nearly 15 min to get the Podi Dosai and idly. . taste was Awesome 🥰🥰😋 . Ghee Podi idly were great . Overall we satisfied . VFM.

Ghee uthappam and podi idly are the only two items in the menu yet those are unqiue and the shop is famous . Mini Idli tossed in podi and ghee, ghe uthappam with tomato chutney and green chutney. Try both. Per plate costs 60 and worth it . The aroma of ghee around their place 😋 will visit again and again. Could add sambar to the menu.

With News 7 review, We travelled from Vadapalani and its far. For this Podi idly with ghee 😋😋 we can 😁 The way they present to the customers is great. We waited there for a while and then we got the Idlys and Ghee podi dosas.. We dont feel the tiredness of waiting as its very nice to see the way they prepares it.. And its liveliness in a roadside shop and this famous is quite Unique.

I totally loved the place. The idlis served there were absolutely soft and tasty. Along with it the added flavor of ghee and podi. Also tried onion utthapam there. The shop is a small place in sowcarpet. The cost is reasonable. 2 person can eat in 150 rupees.

There are 2 shops. Old &New.Actually I had been to old shop and Seena bhai himself was der(who was preparing the dish himself). Quite difficult to get the food coz of the rush(due to weekend)The Old shop has only 2 or 3 dishes like special idly(got a parcel), special uthappam (had 3 plates on spot and Loved it)All dishes are prepared using Ghee.Taste of the dishes are as unique as Seena bhai himself.New renovated shop is still more onto the west side of the road.Also the renovated shop has even more dishes along with options for chaats and juiceGive it a try for unique spicy Madras taste

I will 5 stars for this shop. Such a small shop, but the taste is awesome. Idli and dosa. Only 2 items, but they grab the customers in 3 digit every day. If you dont mind in eating in front of the shop and your priority is only the tasty food, then this the place for you. You can save hell lot of time here rather than going to hotel and waiting for ordered food to come. Please try this shop.

We get idlis and uttapams in many places but this place totally stands apart. The mini idlis here are sprinkled with some powder and chutney and spilled with ghee/oil. Look wise some might say unhygienic but I have been having it for years now. & all I can say is its a must have. The uttapams are delicious too. Hot and spicy. Pocket friendly street food which serves everyones taste buds is always a classic representation of authentic legendary food. & This is the place.

There was only 2 items, podi idly and uthappam. The taste of podi idly with ghee and 2 chutneys were good compared to uthappam. Single plate of podi idly has 10 mini idlies, priced at Rs. 60/- and 1 plate of uthappam has 2 slices, priced at Rs. 60/- . Its a roadside eatery and is quite expensive for a common person. Request to the Owner - Pour the uthappam batter on the hot tawa and not on the corners of the tawa. Spills all over the floor!

Poodi idly and onion uthapam are signature items it tastes good and affordable but lack of space for standing during peak hours and no space for bike parking

So much of hype but seems to be average

A total disappointment after too much hype.. order ghee podi idly first..!! There was nothing special about podi which tasted merely like a chilly powder.. and hardly felt the taste for ghee. It was more of a oil mix and ghee wasnt pure I guess.. and to a complete South Indian like me, who always prefers sambar and coconut chutney with idly which they failed.. only option was pudhina n some so called spicy n sweet red chutney..! Saving grace was the crispy kara vada(otta vadai) which helped me to finish off the idly.. next was ghee onion uthappam which was soaking in oil (which they call it as ghee) completely.. compared to idly it was better.. and there is a saying too much of expectation leads to disappointment. This place proved it right...

Just 2 dishes - Ghee Podi Idly & Ghee Onion Uthappam each cost Rs. 50. To end the meal crispy pepper vada @ Rs. 7.50. To my surprise no sambar only pudina chutney & spicy chutney. Taste is awesome.No space to sit, need to stand & eat. Good place for food lovers with Ghee. Try when you are on a move with your heavy/busy purchase around this place.
