The price is too high... Common biryani rice is prepared for all the type of biryani. If required they will put chicken or mutton or prawn gravy pieces and given them as biryani. Washrooms are hygienic not maintained. Complimentary rice and rasam were given for biryani at last.

If you want to have full course typical chettinad style meals then Pattukotrai Kamatchi mess is the first choice in chennai. Meals combos (Fish, mutton, chicken etc) is famous here. They serve 7 types gravy for the nice like prawn, mutton, chicken, natty kozhi, crab, fish etc.... They have 4 to 5 branches in chennai. End the meals with beeda and burfi.

Excellent food and hospitality. Treat for non veg lovers with 7 different varieties of non veg gravies.

At Anna Nagar Branch.We ordered Kola meals( They said well get 7 gravies, 4 Kola pieces). You dont even get one meat piece in the gravy, if you ask youll get Liver, skins,bones and unwanted pieces. Happily you can pay 350Rs for the Meal. Poor ambience, poor service but exorbitant rates. Worst Experience.

Went for lunch and their menu is super pricy. For the price they charge quality and portion should be high however it is not. The ambience and the table were very moderate. We had mutton Biriyani and it is one of the worst Mutton biriyani I had in my life. Mutton kola was good however it costs 120 for two pieces. Only good about the hotel is service it was quick. Would not recommend this hotel for any one

Hi, this is my honest feedback, I had visited several times Kamatchi mess RS Puram Coimbatore. Food and service was outstanding, extraordinary and price matches with service what they gave no doubt and finally very friendly approach .Same Way today I visited this Chennai Kamatchi mess Anna Nagar branch understood it is no where connected with Coimbatore, basically different entity.This hotel is useless and dinein service is ruthless really pathetic and horrible and finally staff behavior is worst.I can give the rating as 1/10.Advice not to visit..

A great place to have varieties of non veg gravies. Save this place for the less crowded day probably by middle of the week. You wont get the place to sit easily at the weekend. And the meals will finish up real quick so you have to wait while eating. Even if it comes it will be sloggy because as you understand more people will be waiting so they need to serve them asap. Thats why I suggest you to visit during weekdays. And price is quite skewed higher but worth if you are hungry so that you can match every penny by eating 😁
