Its very congested due to small space.The food is not at all good and the chicken they gave was not fresh and hard.Parking is definitely a problem for people coming in car.

Meals was very good.Briyani was average.Ordered 2 portions of fish fry, one was very good other one was semi cooked.Service is good, bearers are polite and pleasing.Used to be a regular here a decade back, taste is definitely not what it used to be.

It is a great place for spicy, native style andra food at Pondy Bazaar. When I were at T. nagar few years ago, I was a regular Sunday Customer. Their Non Veg Meals is a Must Try. Quality Chicken, Mutton and Sea food varieties available here. If you want to eat without worrying about diet - this place is recommended. Affordable prices, very friendly service.

Visiting after almost two years and was eager to relive the earlier experience.we had two meals - brinjal side dish was very tasty, avial n kootu was average. Rice was served cold and had to complain. Chicken gravy provided with the meal was pathetic. Fish Kulambu , Sambhar, Rasam was nothing great. Curd was sour (pulichified). Gongura Chicken ordered was cancelled as gongura had not arrived according to the supervisor. Replaced with Guntur chicken which was just Chicken kulambu - Disappointing!!The saving grace was the Mutton Chukka & Prawn fry which were topnotch and saved the day

Nice and tasty but no typical andhra pappu

I had the worst experience at this place. I ordered for non veg meal and they charged me for non veg meal but served me veg meal. Since it was take away, I realized their mess up too late. By that time I had opened up the containers and it was too late for me to go and return it . I called them up and they accepted their mistake and assured me a refund the next day. However I had to go twice for the refund and at the end they refunded Rs.12, stating that was the difference between the veg and the non veg meal, irrespective of the fact that I did not want veg food. I however did not take back the refund of Rs.12, because I wanted the entire amount refunded. The person at the counter was too rude.

I had mutton briyani, vanjaram fish, andhra chilli chicken. Worst taste food mutton briyani tasted like plain white rice no flavour of briyani , vanjaram fish fry felt like old fish and finally that andhra chilli chicken the quantity of that is just 2 table spoon and for this 3 disaster I paid 1300 complete waste of money

Good restaurant for veg and non veg meals Andhra Meals. Biriyani is also good. The service was exemplary and the staff made us feel at home. They also have a Chinese kitchen. Worth visiting the joint, take away is also a great option

Conveniently located in pondy bazaar, this restaurant was originally a mess facility I believe, but now a full fledged restaurant. The menu is inclined more towards andhra style cooking though general north-south Indian and Chinese items are available. The ac Hall in the first floor is comfortable. Food what we ordered were found tasty and of good quality and quantity. Service is quick.

If you love Andhra food you will love this place.Located in T Nagar this place serves authentic Andhra food. Since it is in tnagar the parking would be a hassle.when you enter the restaurant. The ambience feels normal nothing special but the food on the other hand is great. I always go there for lunch and get the non veg meals or biriyani,non veg meals is served with fish,chicken and mutton gravy also the must have dhal podi which is soo good and of course the fry which everyone loves at an Andhra hotel.Now the biriyani at this restaurant is just normal you might just like it or not.i also order the chilli chicken and mutton chukka which is just bursting with flavour its a must try.The price is on the higher side for an Andhra meals hotel but you get the quality and taste which makes it worth it.

Very bad ,I had been here several times from 2002.I use to come here with my wife , I like mostly what ever I order,I use to come with my wife here ,and she always orders biriyani,and I always order non veg meals.After couple of years I had been here now with my son and wife, my wife ordered mutton biriyani,it came with three pcs only with bone ,and its was chill ,after tasting it,we felt it is definitely yesterday leftover biriyani stored and again severed it today,and the non veg meals I ordered is pathetic ,they severed with fish curry ,chicken curry ,rasam and kootu ,poriyal ,fish curry has no flavour ,chicken curry is like kurma no chicken flavour ,rasam is not fresh, plain rice ok they served hot ,my son ordered fried rice it was good.so we decided not to come here again and should tell everyone not to go here,especially,who wants to taste andhra meals.

I went to this hotel with lot of expectations to have authentic Andhra meals. But I was slightly dissatisfied with the cuisine served, its almost any other Tamilnadu meals. Not really authentic as its name suggests..

I really liked what they did with their sea food . The Vangiram meen was exquisite , a must-try . We also tried the Chilly prawns which was equally gud but a hell lot spicy . The meals are better than the biriyani here ; U get a lot of tasty side dish like Beetroot poriyal and Kathirika thokku, which infact was *chefs kiss* !

Went with lot of expectations and when I entered, thought it was a right choice!( Saw lot of people waiting for a seat )After the lunch, was totally dejected 😔 would not call it a typical Andhra meals - neither Andhra nor Chennai. Tepid tasting dishes.. even the kaara podi was bad.. Very over priced (200/-) for a meal... Not at all worth it !!Maybe the crowd was going there like me with lot of expectations.. hope they wont be disappointed ☹️

We have been eating here for ages. the non-veg items are great. The selection of the vegetable dishes in their meals need to be better. Both chicken and mutton gravy provided with the meals are ok. The fish gravy is good. Biryani is also good. Overall nice experience. But they need to keep up their old quality as there are several other excellent andhra meals joints all over chennai.

Amazing place to have meals, must try their Andhra style chilli chicken and fish fry. They also have other sides like nethili fry, mutton, brain, liver fry, egg omlettes, podimas, fish curry and chicken gravy items. The meals is usually served with amazing dhal, ghee+powder, 2 sides, green chilli chutney, gongura kootu, chicken gravy, fish gravy, sambar, rasam, thick curd cup, sweet and appalam. Must visit if you love hearty fulfilling and rich meals.
