Good old japanese cakes were yummy.

This bakery used to be so good few years back. They have many varieties to offer. But now.... Its like okay. Maybe it can be because of so many competition around. The only thing that test best and I always suggest to try here is the Chicken puffs. They taste the same and I have never found something tastier anywhere else.

More of a convenient store kind I felt. Quick shopping and billing. Over-all , a nice place with good quality of foods.

A nice place to buy confectioneries.. Even though this place always has floating visitors and seems always full, you can get fresh stock of puffs, bread and cake here. The owner is very hospitable and attends to customer inquiries instantly..

Cake is old stock and taste is not good. And, they are charging carry bags in the bill. It’s not good to charge for carry bags even we buying more 1000 rupees.

Products are fresh and guidelines followed properly. But the staffs are highly uncivil and billing not proper. Computer billing wasnt working and no alternative Bill (hand written) provided. Parking spaces are fair for bike bit difficult for car during evenings.

This has been my all time favourite store from my childhood. All outlets have same stuffs, so if i review it for Parrys McRennett, it accounts for all the branches. Pastries and puffs is what I frequently buy, which is really good. Then comes their classic product Rich Plum Cake, Ive tried many plum cakes from different places, but this is the best Ive ever tasted. Really a good place to buy pastries, snacks and savouries.

Unprofessionalism by the sales representative. I have bought some items from them on reaching home I found that a item has been billed twice. So immidieately I went to the shop and showed them the bill and asked for refund. They didnt beleive me and I showed them all the proofs and asked them to check their total stock, after a long struggle I got my cash back and the experience turned to be so bitter. I used to shop here so many times but after this incident I dont like to shop here and advice my friends not to do so.

Excellent bakery shop, as usual having freshness of McRennett brand. Bread, cake and pastries all are excellent here.Sometimes bread and puff gets sold out very soon.It is near the pallavaram bus stand so traffic is a lot.Only issue I find is no space for parking, bike parking we can manage but car no way in that place.

Chennais fresh cream cake haven. Just go in and eat a cake or two 😇.Look out for these especially, Japanese cake, Apple cake, Green nut cake, Walnut cake. And in the buns section, checkout their jam bun and cashew rolls.During easter you can expect to get Marzipan easter eggs, sugary cashew goodness.I love McRennett 🙂

I went to the shop around 8 pm. By the time I reached every thing was over. I had 2 cakes one vennila cake and other cake. It was not up to Mc Rennett standards. I have decided not to visit the shop again. I am not sure if the time I visited the shop was good.

Recently I have noticed they run out of snacks like puffs, cutlets etc by 6pm itself. Even pastries stock is getting over by 6pm. Other packed items are available.

McRennett located near by pallavaram bus stop, we will get different varieties of cake from black forest, white forest, chocolate cakes, plum cakes, birthday cakes, veg puffs, pizza, milk bread, multi grain bread, brown bread, sugar free sweets, drinks like milk shakes, mango Juices products from nestle, Tropicana, Amul and also snacks from haldirams like chips, mixture, and Cadbury chocolates available.
