Since renovation this place has got new spark... Right from seperate chaat zone and bakers zone... It was epic.Cream was so smooth and flavours of the butter they used are top class.Dont miss it if you are near tngar

Great ambience, wonderful service, and a range of cuisines and fusion dishes made dining here a pleasant experience. All of this comes at a reasonable cost. This place is perfect if you want to meet/hang out with people as its not crowded or cramped. There are interesting dishes such as Raja raja cholan dosa (a fun take on Guntur karam dosa), paneer tacos, pastas, enchiladas, and the usual North Indian and South Indian dishes. Mathsya also has a chaat bar and a buffet. Sometimes, places offering buffets dont have as much variety or quality when you go a la carte. Here, though, pretty much everything including coffee was excellent. My only complaint is they pass off tutti-frutti flavored ice cream in green color as pistachio ice cream. Ive had much better pistachio ice cream elsewhere and wont have it again here.

An excellent place to enjoy Vegetarian food in T Nagar. They have an exhaustive buffet for both lunch and dinner. Alacarte options are also available for the day and dinner.All dishes on the sumptuous breakfast buffet were delicious. Only regret is that they dont serve Dosa as part of the buffet like other places!The place is spacious and well lit. But we aware that the popularity of the place attracts a lot of crowd and some times this can be annoying as the sound can be quiet loud.

After our shopping in T Nagar, we wanted to try this restaurant for lunch. We actually wanted to try this few days before but it wasnt happened so we dont want miss the chance this time. Its a pure veg retaurant offers buffet & a la carte for all 3 sessions. Restaurant has total of 180 seats with 20 & 40 in 2 diff rooms. Commonly u can seat 120 max. Its spacious. Started with the service of soup in the table if u opt for buffet. Buffet got all standard items. Starters were not that good and most were soggy and hard. Main course pasta & noodles were excellent. Desserts too. Thw welcome drink blue curacao based is we liked. All service personnel were excellent. Refilling of food took little longer but its ok. Recommended for a decent food lovers.

Good ambiance but usual boring , its should be something different and food was good as usual but non availability was high , if we name anything its not available and they should improve on. This , we can understand because if covid it happens

In short - A BBQ of Vegetarianism.The place is crowded during weekends and parking car is a problem as they accommodate only 5-6 cars in front of the restaurant. And we need to try parking places in adjacent streets.Food quality is very good for lunch / dinner. And they serve Buffett breakfast only during weekends. And not a good try for breakfast for 100 , as Sangeetha restaurant provides more than Mathsya for half the price at (₹45).My 4* goes for lunch n dinner buffet and week end buffet too.

I had already visited their outlet at Egmore. I visited this place with my friend for dinner on Tamil new years day 2021. They had a special buffet for the occasion, but we chose to go for a la carte. The restaurant had spacious seating arrangements. The ambience was good. The restaurant was well lit. To start with, we ordered surkh lal paneer tikka, for mains we ordered tandoori roti and makhai palak (spinach and corn) gravy. Paneer was tender and was seasoned well. The gravy was creamy and was well paired with the bread. All the dishes were delicious. They have an extensive menu. Some might find that some dishes are priced on the higher side. They staff were courteous, polite and responsive. They have adequate parking space. They accept payment through cash, card, UPI, zomato pro. This is a vegetarian restaurant suited for families and friends. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good vegetarian restaurant.

Food are so good and very authentic taste. Different variety in vegetarians. Creamy with vegetables soup is so delicious.I loved it.

Other than the ambience nothing was good. we ordered south indian meals and i wld honestly say that meals at a normal restaurant wld be much tastier .Rice was sticky , sambar was tasteless. rasam was good. Payasam was tasty Later heard from my friends that their Egmore outlet used to be much better than the Tngr one

Excellent items in the everything-unlimited lunch buffet that caters to both the traditional Tamil palate and those looking for variety items like Italian, Chinese etc. The starters were crispy and with a lovely balanced taste.In most buffets, one feels that every item is a tad diluted from what it might be had it been ordered a la carte. Here, that was not the case. Every item we tasted was good.Desserts include at least two Indian sweets and pastries too. Live chaat counter is also included.At 449 plus tax on weekdays, very reasonably priced.

Generally we love the food at Mathsya. However, today the mushroom soup was very salty. The veg kolhapuri was too spicy(over chilli) that we found difficult to eat. The potato wedges were too big in size and not cooked inside. We were disappointed with the food served.

Multi cuisine restaurant in true sense.Been around for decades now. Their menu pretty vast which includes South Indian, North Indian, Mexican, Italian and desserts.Location too is pretty good. Has parking facility . I recommend this place.

The masala dosa we ordered ala carte was horrible...being blackened and a huge chunk of potato almost a whole potato being left like a chunk, uncooked...we had basically buffet which wasnt good either on this day

The hype created by the restaurant and influencers is overwhelming. the reality it is not, It is economical but taste is average. the customer flow is good and people do recommend this place but you cannot match or compare other competitors in the Market. price perspective its recommendable but taste wise I wont say its bad but its good.

Mathsya has upgraded its interiors which looks elegant, but on the other side is losing focus on food variety and taste. Recently happened to visit with family of 6, choices have reduced compared to 2 years ago where we where a regular customer. Now would rethink of visiting again. And would try other veg restaurants instead.

Had a buffet on the weekday, the overall value for money experience is worth it. Food is good, the Boost Mysore Pauck was my favorite dessert.

This place has been in Tnagar for years now. They are stable with food quality and quantity. Pricing is also reasonable.

Always go for the buffet especially on weekends. The price is very nominal. the food is tasty. the buffet is better on weekends. the variety is limited as it is a pure vegetarian restaurant. the ambience is okay. not much disturbance. there is a chat counter, you can have any chat item prepared if you are opting for the buffet. the cost of the buffet covers chat items too. sometimes prior booking is necessary because tables might not be available during peak timings. the service if you order a la carte, then the service depends on the crowd. at peak timings the service becomes very slow. other than peak timings the service is commendable.

This place is best in taste when you go for alcart instead of buffet. I found buffet waste of money and you can fill your tummy bit you cannot enjoy the real taste.Mangalore and Kannadiga dish is very good and you can try the same. The food was very tasty right from the starters. Staff were all wearing masks but it was really crowded on a sunday making it difficult to maintain social distancing. The south indian as well as north indian dishes were all very delicious and a nice place to have a good time with family.
