When it comes to starters, Sometimes just for the hunger or taste we tend to quickly grab and finish it off in no time.Only after a few moments later, realised the spices from the starters. One such Experiences was from madras canteen and grill and tried their chicken wings starter glazed with honey and spices which hit me few minutes later.Though there are ups and downs when it comes to buffet this was one of the decent ones that I tried as a part of their buffet.

We wanted to try a new buffet type of restaurant than usual and came across this newly opened one. The ambience of the place was excellent and refreshing than usual crowded. The staffs were wearing masks always and was courteous. But the services was very very slow and each time we have to remind the staff that we are waiting for the starter which was very irritating. Also the live counter had just a couple of items, shawarma n pizza which is highly disappointing compared to other restaurants. The main course was usual one but desserts were nice which was one plus with respect to food. Overall there were very less items compared to other buffet restaurants but with same price range of 699 and 799. Definitely the food and variety is not worth the price. If they improve the menu and no of items then it might be. So please look into it else its definitely not worth the money.

It is located in Kandanchavdi area, besides the Decathlon. Huge parking space and easy to find the location.We planned for a group dinner and hence we booked our table on prior as on weekdays also there is a rush. Nice entrance decoration and even the dining area. A huge one though, very spacious but cant help with the smoke. As the starters are mostly bbq grill so the entire space is smoke and suffocating at a certain time. Needs proper ventilation.Starters had many options both nonveg and veg. Fish and prawns were the best. They have live counters.You can order hot waffle, good in taste. Some pizza, samosa, chats etc.Main course they had many options. But taste can be improved. From crab, chicken, mutton,egg, fish, paneer, daal many varieties to choose from.Dessert items were good actually. You can also get softy icecream of different flavours. Best part they have Goli soda.Service was very fast and the staff named Mr. Subhojit was very active and prompt in his work.Overall a nice time spent eating. Good ambiance. Spacious. Standard quality but taste needs to improvise. Options were many to eat but tasted average.

Unlimited buffet @699. Value for money.Good food. Spacious venue. Since it was my first time, I expected to know what was included in the buffet, it was not explained properly. Had to look at other tables to know what part of the buffet. Overall more than enough buffet with veg and non veg options.

Good place to have tandoori platter on grill at your table top.A different version of barbaque Nation with more live counters and good buffet servings addition to the live grill on your tableThey also serve other veg and nonveg snacks unlimited additional to the grillOnly star is less because it looks like a marriage reception hall than a restaurant and too noisy if crowded ( i was there on 21st Feb 2021) and it was like a mela in addition to that loud music was playing which can be avoided by the hotel management.

Madras Canteen and Grill it is just not a place alone for buffet, it give wonderful ambiance which is soo much good compared to other buffet restaurant. Regardless of ambiance the food taste are awesome till what we have tried. The quality of food has no compromise even if this a buffet. To compare with cost of buffet the worth of food is soo much recommend for all people who want to come and chill. Btw its a perfect place for Team lunch for IT peoples.Just give it a try you will not regret trying here.

Good parking, Spacious dining space, Antique themed interior.. Less spread of food and no feel of taste in food. Waste of money..Except for desserts nothing else has got value for the money you spent (699++).Never get disappointed again. Just want to caution friends who just want to test for once.

Madras C&Gs main course have my heart!❤️In most of the buffet offering restaurants (even the popular) wont focus on the main course. What they mainly focus is Starters & some Desserts and leave other dishes just to keep the menu count good. But the Madras C&G main course isnt like the above and what shocks me is their chicken biriyani tasted much greater than many biriyani spots in our city. And Not only their Biriyani, Alleppey fish curry, Veg Hakka noodles, Butter chicken makhani and almost most of the main course was lit⚡Other than main course, their bubble waffle was fantasticccccc. i had their full waffle even after a heavy load in my tummy . Most of the starters was good too and desserts were amazing especially their pista kheer and rose milk Pannacotta. Shawarma and Turkish pizza was disappointing. We couldnt finish the full pizza.So if you ever gonna visit Madras C&G, Save a bigger place in your tummy for their main course than other dishes.Starter were average when compared to other buffet offering restaurants.Id appreciate if they improve their service and add some dishes to their menu. My visit happened to be dinner but the interiors will be more pleasant if you visit here for lunch.

Cheapest and valuable barbeque buffet. But the ambience and noise in the name of BG MUSIC was irritating. Food was delicious but the service is poor. Too many servers but none are responding. I was asking kajun potatoes for nearly half n hour and till end i fidnt get what i asked. Asked for 2 pc of Parotta but it wasnt served till end. Jelabi was tasty.On the whole, a good menu with worst service. Hope it gets improved in future.

Located at Perungudi, this restaurant is a good eat-out if you are planning for a family lunch. Its pretty much the same when you compare it with Barbecue Nation. They have an unlimited buffet menu, but there is no complimentary drink for both veg and non-veg menu. The barbecue dishes are really good. The main course dishes had a great variety of rice, gravys etc. The desserts were a delight. I liked almost all of it. The price is at a mid-range for the number of dishes they serve. The service was really good. My family was attended regularly by the wait staff and they took care of our requests and needs. Overall, this is a great place if you want to have unlimited barbecue food!!

We went for a buffet dinner. Nice Ambience and a spacious place to dine in. There are the bbq starters, main course and live counters which serves pasta,chats,kothu parotta,shawarma, wood fired pizza, waffles and softy ice-cream. I loved the kothu parotta and pasta. It was damn yummy. The desserts served also contained pretty decent spread and was tasty. There was a dessert named panna colla which tasted different and unique.I havent tasted one such anywhere else. Waffles were also yummy and I couldnt stop myself from clicking a pic of that.The staffs were courteous and addresses concerns immediately. We were attended to by a person named Sahir ( could be Zahil also. Not sure about the correct spelling) He was well mannered.A place worth visiting for its ambience, different cuisines, live counters with different menu, tasty food and totally a new place too when compared to the regular BBQ restaurants!

Good varieties of food and service. W major drawbacks are no centralized Ac. So u feel suffocate when you eat BBQ . Second the quality of ice cream. They definitely need to improve the quality then only kids will like it

Its a good place to explore new.. They have simple interior and design.They had plenty of variety at lower budget. We had a good buffet there.. only thing that theyve to improve is vanilla softy. Apart from this is a good restaurant to have your day..

Went there for lunch buffet recently, loved the ambiance, the food was really good. What the loved the most was the service, from the moment we reached the place, even though it was packed on a Sunday noon, they had a table reserved for us as we booked earlier, we were not made to wait. Mr Jeet made sure we had everything we needed throughout. Everyone was very pleasing and kind.Ill definitely go this place again, thats for sure.

Refreshing bbq experience compared to the usual crowded setup. Nearly organized and well spread out dishes & delicacies. Great on taste buds and well served on all front. Wonderful ambience with high roofs and nicely distributed seats. Neatly done and nearly perfect. Must visit! Not easily locatable owing to the building presence, keep looking on the left after crossing Perungudi Decathlon.

Ambience and the place are really good... Spacious restaurant.. Decent parking space.. Desserts were good.. The barbeque should have enough heat.. Starters were also okay.. Main course and other counters should improve the food taste... Lot of scope for improvement...

Cost is high....but taste is subpar.. which doesnt do justice to whatever you gonna pay. Believe me it really feel bad when pay that huge amount for such an avarage taste. Ambiance is fabulous. Very polite and helpful staff. They give their 110% to customer service. If the taste matches all the other positives this place is easily a 6 star 💫 dinning but unfortunately I didnt had it. I really wish it could have been better. Still one can give it a shot. Who knows your luck shines that day.

Well, when it comes to taste, its another buffet restaurant but what stands out is the ambience!!Space Space Space!!!If you hate those crowded absolute barbecue and coal barbecues, pay a visit here. It looks like a rooftop converted to restaurant and is insanely spacious, though the number of tables may increase over time

I would definitely will not recommended this place to anyone. The quality/taste of food is not bad and I will not comment as excellent. Very weak in Buffet concept as all the customers are requesting for refill the food items frequently. And, definitely this place will not suit for lunch in summer seasons as Air conditioners are not enough for accommodating the customers as this is surrounded by sheets in ceiling. I went with larger expectations with my family of 7 members but it went fully down after sitting for 10 mins. Simple Barceque nation is far better.

It has a very wide range of food with various meat like crab,prawns,fish,chicken etc. It even has a soft serve station which I thought was a very refreshing addition for a buffet. Ambience is decent and has good song selection. Overall a good experience. Only downside is that sometimes the meat can be a little dry.

Am giving 3 as a vegetarian. Main course, stall food is extremely good. But grill was a total dissapointment. Pathetic I would say. They charge rs.80 for a goli soda. Ambience can be better. Its noisy with bad choice of music. I would go again for sure for the food and avoid grill all together.

Excellent Starters. Lebanese pizza , banana dosa and crab curry should be a must try in main course. Especially Chicken Shawarma was excellent with only chicken and mayo in it. Among desserts Waffles and ice creams were wonderful and very very tasty.

Worst hospitality and management. We booked table for lunch at 2.30. we reached on time and they made us wait til 3.20pm. literally they made us stand like a punishment. They dont even provide chairs to wait. Place was damn hot with no AC. Will never visit or suggest anyone. Never ever!!!!

This place had terrible food. Though they had a lot of counters nothing was worth mentioning. The quality of food was bad for the price. The prawns were not cleaned properly. Except for one specific chicken dish all other dishes were poorly executed.My colleagues who had vegetarian had much worse food.

Because of that we started going for main course. Barbecue fish, Chicken and prawns taste were good but they are not serving prawns often. Honey pineapple watermelon flavoured good. Biryani, mutton rogan jose, egg gravy, crab all good. Pasta not great, Pizza average, desserts were ultimate. Hot jilabi was great one. Icecreams also great. Adults they charged 799, children they charged 379, Goli soda, lemonade are chargable. No complimentary drinks. It was great and awesome. Overall great.

Cannot be referred to anyone, better dont choose this hotel. 1. The restaurant is not hygienic, you can see lot of flies like a road side shop, pedestal fans would be kept to avoid that. 2. We complained the curd is smelling bad, then the manager changes the whole curd in the buffet. They are not maintaining the foods. 3. These people have an additional Madras canteen GST in your bill in the name of service charge, I still couldnt figure out, how the value is derived 104.85 (may be sgst + cgst I guess). So In precise, not a place to take your loved ones.

The rates were discounted, the ambience was ok, the area was large so it was not conjusted. The food was not very good , it was ok the price we paid was 599+tax. The desserts were very limited , main course was also very limited . Just dont have any expectation like coal or ABs . Go without expectation and enjoy your meal
