Good hotel, value for money. Hotel stuffs are very polite and behaved well. Restaurent food was yummy.The amount of help I got from Jayesh ( Receptionist) is not forgettable.

This isthe 2nd time i stayed in this hotel. Due to Covid, There is some cost cutting measures compared to my previous stay. But rooms are ok to stay. Complimentary Breakfast is nice. We faced some problems in our stay, but the staff is friendly and quick in resolving issues. I may consider my future stays here, if wifi is available at that time. Ovarall its a nice experience.

This place is not meant for long stay or anything like it,this place is just meant for sleeping. The place is very old and not at all maintained. Never worry about running out of hot water. Bathroom is not clean. Bedroom is small but for the price it’s okay and 24hrs checkout is an only exception people stay here.

Stayed at this Hotel from 22/2/21 to 27/2/21. The hotel is nice. Front office/reception guys are very helpful. Stayed in Room No. 805. Had a nice view. AC working, did get hot water in bathroom. The furniture is showing signs of aging such as room door locks, room tables, chairs, wardrobe and needs polishing. Opted for stay including complimentary breakfast. Rate was Rs.2800/- per night including GST & breakfast for 2ppl.Due to pandaemic, the complimentary breakfast was served in room instead of the restaurant...The platter was enough to fill anybodys stomach for breakfast, all the items consisting mainly south Indian dishes, bread butter and chola batura were tasty.Mr. Gopu Chandran was v helpful.Apollo Hospital & Apollo Heart was barely 200mtrs walking distance (5min). Sankara Nethralaya (Main) is 1Km away and takes 10min walk to reach.Internet service was really bad. I have jio connection and internet almost didnt work inside rooms, had to come to reception to make it work.Taxi fare from Airport:- Peak hrs. Rs.400 & non peak Hrs Rs. 300 (including Rs. 40 Airport vehicle entry toll added to your bill in Ola)Ola Auto fare :- Rs. 100 max. to these locations from the hotel1) Marina Beach2) Tamil Nadu Tourism office.3) T. NagarI enjoyed my stay here.

If u r visiting Chennai for treatment in Apollo, its best place as 200mtr proximity, clean, spacious room. But no wifi. As there is an issue with the wifi network, with mobile network you cant do booking with swigge, zomato, uber, ola etc, as due to poor network no app is working. with phone network u can search place on map, do whatsapp call etc., but apps wont work

The Rooms were pretty old and the tables and furnitures looked stained and were showing its age . The staff was pretty helpful regarding check in and check out . The food served for breakfast was below average , and the restaurant didnt serve any food after 10 o clock in the night .Very close to applo hospital greams road. . Would only recommend if you dont mind other things and just need a place to stay nearby appolo hospital , not a good place in any other sense . They didnt have a functional Wifi during my stay

Its an amazing place taking care of proper protocols and sanitization. Stayed there for a night and it was super safe and well cared for. Additionally, the restaurant there serves amazing food.

Good location for the US consulate work and Apollo hospital. Spacious room and bathroom. Economical for the location.The restaurant is not very good. Breakfast is complementary, and the choice items average. Ordered one dinner; not very good. Decided to eat in better restaurants nearby.Maintenance of the property is not satisfactory. This is true of all the KTDC hotels I have stayed in.

Quite and calmed hotel at great location, just 2 minutes walk to Apollo hospital Greams Road Chennai.A little negotiation can give you 20 percent discount on the rooms rate.Check-out time is 24 hours basis, when you check-in the same time will be calculated for check-out.Great food at a decent rate.Moderate staff with cleanliness.Amenities are a little outdated.

Very close to Apollo Hospital. Walkable distance 150 min only. Neat and hygienic. Will get complimentary veg breakfast, good one. Room, room service, staff all are very good. Rooms may be little bit old and availability of hot water to be ensured. Overall its good.

These unethical people will ENTER THE ROOM WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION when you are out. BEWARE: do not leave any valuable things in the room. They have the master key. They argue that its their policy to clean, and they dont need to ask you for it. 0% security for your valuables and things in the room. Even if you tell to the reception not to clean, there is no guarantee that they will not enter your room and not steal things.This is close to the Apollo hospital thats why this hotel is making a revenue.Complimentary breakfast was Good. Air-conditioning was good. Floors arent clean. Curtains filled with dust.Smelly pillow and bedsheets. Bathroom was okay. Could be much better for the price/tariff.

Hotel Rain Drops is a hotel under Kerala Tourism. Its well located, well communicated and also a safe hotel & restaurant. Many renounced hospital, diagnostic center, doctors point and hole sell medical stores are nearby. Rooms are fresh, facilities are very good and also very safe. A quite big restaurant is with the recitation.

A very good property by KTDC at a prime location in Chennai. Youve 24 hours check in option. The staff are well behaved and helpful. They offer an amazing breakfast buffet with a good spread. The rooms are clean and even the in house restaurant is very good.

I always feel at home when am at ktdc raindrops. The place is very well organized and maintained. The food is great and the staff is top class. It is the best place to stay and enjoyed a lot during my stay.

Good location as is quite close to the US Embassy and Apollo hospital. There are some nice restaurants nearby because food here is quite average. Rooms are manageable and sufficient. If convenience is your priority, I highly suggest this place, otherwise not so much.

My review is about the excellent Kerala restaurant they maintain. Though they serve non vegetarian food, the maintenance is good that theres no smell that disturbs for vegetarian lovers.Nice ambience and excellent service.There are no parking constraints and the place is easily Locatable and accessible. The hotel is located at prime place.

Worst experience ever faced. They took the reservation and confirmed with a reservation Id.. On the day of check in, they simply told that rooms are not vacated so they cant give rooms... And they referred a nearby hotel by saying there rooms will be very comfortable more than us. But that hotel doesnt have even AC rooms. Its not a hotel just its a mansion.. We struggled & travelled to egmore & stayed... I strongly not recommending Rain Drops Chennai.

The amenities like the AC and the intercom behave temperamentally. The housekeeping services tend to disturb you a lot if you happen to stay in late in the morning. The breakfast service was also a little rude. The location of the hotel is very helpful in terms of ease of transportation and restaurants nearby. The rooms themselves are pretty tidy with comfortable beds.

Near to Apollo Main Hospital. This is the only good part about the hotel. Maybe when it was brand new it was a good hotel but now it lacks everything. Very bad maintenance, ac doesnt work properly, breakfast was not good.. overall its not worth it to pay around 3000 RS for this hotel..

Too overpriced (Rs.2900 with taxes for a double occupancy room) compared to the condition of the rooms (dusty floor) and cockroaches around. Complimentary breakfast is good but limited options. Rest of the room service food is highly overpriced. Instead one can get much better and good quantity food in nearby stalls. Elevator was not working many times. Scope for improvement since rooms are spacious.

We lost 18500 rupees which got left in the trouser pocket given to Laundry. Hotel manager says his staff checked all the pockets and found nothing before they gave to Laundry service. They have outsourced laundry supplier. He claims no responsibility. There is no honesty among thieves. Police complaint is pending.

I am staying at room no 605 now. This is how it goes, tiny rooms, shabby furniture, spit stains on the wall, limited TV channels, no facial Tissue Box supplied, archaic lifts....But this is the best hotel to stay around Greams Road with uninterrupted water supply.
