This place is nearly 10 year old now and there is a need to bring in freshness. It’s a good place if you wish to eat a good North Indian thali. Rajbhog what they call their grand thali is filling and best possible variety. Finally the paan shots which they offer is outstanding. We felt like repeating it and it was worth it. A good place to explore with your family.

Great place for vegetarians..they have soamy options. Try tamatar shorba, sizzlers and starters. Lunch Thali is also great.

Jalpaan is an excellent place for family dining. Especially for those vegetarian families which has one or two folks who dont eat onion and garlic. They have quite a few options which are cooked Jain way(no onion and garlic). Over the time I have tried several North Indian dishes and have never been disappointed. At times you feel little frustrated with time to serve but not a major setback. Staff always have a similar on their face, serve really well. I havent tried Italian

Went for lunch and we were confused for what to order (Ala carte is bit expensive). Ordered Thali which was Delicious.Recommend Thali for every new goer.One of the best restaurants in Mysore

Very Good dining place for vegetarians. Youll get lot of vegetarian options. Starters are excellent for those who doesnt like barbecue restaurants because of the fact that it is both veg and non veg. This is the place to head towards to try something new. Couple of items were overpriced or needs improvement I felt thats the reason to reduce 1 Star. But overall one of the best in town.

Not happy with table - they are obstacles for legs and feels very uncomfortable.The food is okay okay.Italian food good.Not a good option for North Indian Food because it feels very oily .Presentation good - taste is not good as its presented.We were four in number and we asked for six chaired table - they denied. But later the offered the same six chair table to just three persons !!!Some time especially during weekend it will be crowded and may have to wait anywhere around 45 minutes + .They are not convenient in Kannada. Most of they look like Chinese Chinese or from other states.Also food is little expensive.It is located off JLB road near Ramaswami circle.My friends like food here but I am not satisfied here .It depends on individuals taste.I dont go frequently here but once in a while for a change it is okay.

Service was very fast despite the lunch time rush, and the staff were attentive. First time Ive had Cheese Fondue since childhood! It was thinner then we have in America, but creamy and flavorful - delicious taste. the Paneer Kulcha was tasty and the Puri was huge and fried to perfection. The Handi Subzi was spicy and good, the Chole Bhature also tasty and the Potli Biryani had very good flavor. The only item I didnt like was the Chef Special Ice Cream Sundae. The ice cream tasted cheap and the jam and jelly candies was unexpected. A traditional sundae with nuts and chocolate or caramel sauce would be better. The prices are a little high here but the quality is excellent. Highly recommend eating here!

Ambience and food quality is good. Except for the service which took some time at the start and later on orders were served pretty fast. Cost is moderate and not expensive. Tried many dishes of which our group liked the pizza which was severed here.

One of the best veg restaurant in Mysore with great ambience and super delicious food. It has 2 floors for dining. I went with my friends and ordered aloo kulcha, naan, tandoori roti, lipta mushroom masala, paneer tikka lababdar, soda shikanjivi, those were amazing. Service is pretty good. Staff are taking precautionary measures, wearing masks, thermal check for the guests at the entrance. Overall I had a very good experience. Special mention to the complimentary paan flavoured drink shots.

We went here on a weekend and the place was quite crowded. We managed to get a table without much wait though. Reservations are highly recommended if you are going here on a weekend.We enjoyed the hospitality we received at this restaurant. We had our parents with us and the staff made all efforts to have them seated comfortably. My dad prefers South Indian food on most days but he actually enjoyed the North Indian meals they served here and that pretty much sums up this place for me. Definitely a good place to visit for the service and the taste of food at this restaurant.

This restaurant was one of the amazing veg restaurants which you can go to with your family in Mysore.I loved the food and the staff.The only con is that it closes very soon, somewhat around 3 30pm.

A really nice family dining experience. Offers multiple cuisines with a desi twist. The fondue was excellent. The shikanji lemonade was brilliant with black salt giving it an unique flavour. For the main course, the vegetable au gratin was decent. The neopolitan pizza was not good. Paneer kurcharan was amazing. The kiwi delight ordered as a drink was too sweet.

We were at Jalpaan to dine with family and the overall experience was good. The veg Jalpaan platter is amazing and the other dishes in their menu are equally good. Overall the ambience is pleasant and is definitely recommended for family dining.

Good ambience n tasty food but little more waiting period

Good service , good food, we ordered paneer butter masla and some rotis. Quality of the food was very rich. It is good for families and groups. But removing one star due to poor hygenic conditions.

This place is good for its taste, ambience and pan drink which they serve at last. One thing I need to mention is, we ordered thali for 6 and mentioned that two persons might be late by 15 mins, even after mentioning this they served thali for all 6 persons and covered those two thali with plates and left. Later when our friends came the thali was not hot, roti was not kadak and even all items. They took it and served the same thing hot again. What I thought was even after mentioning why did they serve and when asked their answer was it was ready so we served. SO IN JALPAAN ORDER FOR WHO IS PRESENT, AND DONT ORDER IF SOMEONE IS JOINING LATE THEN THEY HAVE TO EAT IT COLD, BECOZ THALI WILL BE SERVED AFTER 15 MINS IF SOMEONE IS PRESENT OR NOT.Other this experience it was good.👍

We, a group, came here to have dinner on a quite Tuesday night. It was a weekday hence there wasnt much crowd. The ambience was quite nice, and the staff was experienced. The food wasnt really that great, or maybe it was just me, because I really didnt like the flavours. The quantity served also was quite less for the price. Seems like a nice place to hangout with an old friend or a date.

Had been to this restaurant 6 years before had liked the quality of the food and hence, went yesterday, But, yesterday the food was very mediocre with respect to prize; food was bland and sometimes under cooked.And the service.. I dont know where to start.1) I believe the waiters were comfortable in the language belonging to North to India; when communicating in the local language got answer in the north Indian languages.2) Menu was taken multiple times and asked back to order items. Waiters were interested in keeping it in some designated area rather than in hands of customer.3) waiters didnt feel friendly.

A good experience for dining as the name suggests. The service is excellent though it takes a bit of time. Its not an entirely Indian restaurant, its a blend of Italian, continental and indian. The Indian food, especially the main course is awesome. Do not expect the starters to be good. The reason for me to give 3 stars is the starters. They are simply not up to the mark. Bit expensive but worth a try (if u prefer continental along with Indian food).

Candle light dinner with great tasty food, good ambience and good service. This place also serve Jain food. Garlic bread with cheese is a must try. And the complementary Betel leaf milkshake at the end makes the food saga epic.

Good place for vegetarians and non- alcoholics. They have a lot of variety of veg food and even fondue. The food is reasonably priced and tastes good. The service is also very good and they give a great plan shot at the end of the meal which is to die for! They even have an extensive list of mocktails and a special mocktail counter. Try this restaurant if you are a true veg food lover!

Located on 1st and 2nd floor. Side Road entrance and elevator is available having capacity of 4 -5 People. The ambiance of restaurent is amazing. Good place to dine with large groups. They do have Must Try range of foods which are amazing. Loved the Rasgulla and signature Jalpaan.

Very disappointed. Food is not as authentic as I expected. Very average North Indian dishes, they have South Indian flavour all over their dishes. If you want good North Indian food this is not the place to visit.I went here having been to Jalpaan Bangalore earlier. Bangalore outlet is better anyday but certainly not the Mysore one.

The service offered was flawlessly classy.One must try this place. To my surprise, we were offered complementary Paan shots towards the end.Amazingly delicious.They had varieties of Paan as well in the downside or towards the entrance of the building.Chocolate Paan was yum. 🤗

We have been to their Jayanagar, Bangalore outlet many times, this was our first visit to the Mysore outlet, and we werent disappointed.Food was very tasty, just like their Jayanagar, Bangalore outlet, it was served hot in quick time, though it was on a Sunday and was crowded.Well mannered staff, good service and amazing tasty food, overall a wonderful and memorable experience, keep up the good work. Hi. Food was delivered in good time. We had ordered Dum ki Teheri and Paneer Tikka Rara. Food taste was lost as it was TOO SPICY. May be we made the wrong choice !!Hopefully we will have a better experience next time.

A very did dining restaurant to go with family . Has different cuisine - Chinese, Italian, north Indian.We tried pasta, mocktails, North Indian cuisine. Quality of food is very good, accompanied with good service and a decent ambiences. One of the must try dish is - potli biryani, kind of a dish where biryani is cooked inside a big potli made of poori/bhatura. Though poori is not edible , biryani is very good.
