Accidentally reached this place. The rates seem to be a bit high but the quantity is reasonable also the food is tasty.

Worst biriyani have ever had in my life i would say... i paid 260 for plate of mutton Biriyani which had 3 piece with 2 full bone piece.. and a hell lot of rice.. omg i was god damm shocked seeing that.. man plz don’t cheat ppl man.. ppl coming to ur restaurant are not millionaires to cheat them... nva eva in my lyf i would step into ur restaurant... i felt like eating kuska for 260 rs... check the image below...

Great place for some good biriyani. Price of biriyani is very nominal as well!.. the only downside is that they don’t have other items like mutton chukka or gravy’s. But they do have chicken 65 and Fish Fry which was also good .

Absolutely the best biriyani in that location.. You will get the semiya sweet also with the biriyani and the brinjal was so yummy😋. Its been a long time I visited this place. They should improve the speed of service.

Earlier we never get table for dining, today they dont have any one to eat at their restaurant..may be xoz of Sunday. Hope they will overcome this pandemic and fix their stand in the market again. All the very best

Food was good but price is little bit high and ambience need to improve.

Mostly this place is empty. I dont know how they are making profit.Mutton Biriyani good but they are preheating before serving hence it is dry. I assume, we go on time when it is fresh hot, Briyani would taste super.

Not even worth for 1 star.Just heard biryani will be good here.But it was mere waste tat we tasted the worst one. Ordered mutton biryani, chicken 65, fish fry. They gave us biryani which was reheated and it tasted as worst one. 65 n fish fry looks like normal fast food type serve. Biryani costs 260. Which is mere useless price. Its not even worth of 50rs. 0 for taste, 0 for quality. These type of hotels serve a poor n unhealthy food.They add ajinamoto, and colour powders which is life threatening one. Never eat food here unless they provide a quality and healthy. If u want to eat just her put urself an insurance.

Easily one of the best places to get authentic Biriyani.. Mutton Biriyani is simply the best.. The meat literally falls off the bone..too gud.. Moderately priced, non ac dining makes this place more of a mess than a restaurant... Hopefully one day theyll have better seating and ambience... But that isnt gonna stop me from going back to this place asap.... Cheers..

Guys atleast have once Chicken Biryani in this Hotel, which comes with one boiled egg and leg piece as well, i was regular customer of this hotel when i was staying in Chennai, each and every lunch was depend on the Chicken Biryani from Hotel Kalyana Bhavan Biriyani.Right now i am bangalore, after somedays i will sure visit chennai only for my lunch at this hotel.

Kalayana Bhavan Biriyani serves good biriyani on a banana leaf. The place is good and spacious; however there is something missing in the experience that doesnt convince me to rate it higher. The biriyani is good most times. They also have Kabab options that okayish. One may not get a value for money experience here.

Went here after 9 years... Quantity and quality (taste) has reduced in these years. Mutton biriyani is 195 but youll only get 3 small pieces. As I said before theres a huge change is the taste, could have been better.

All the hype created for this particular hotel are false. Went there to taste the Chennais best briyani (thats what the youtube reviewers said) but end up with average briyani, not even worth for 100rs. Totally disappointed... I thought may be this lot is not good. But when digged the other reviews they also said the same. May be kalayana bhavan lost their decent crowd... Food is ok. Place is good and clean. I tried mutton Briyani and peaces are not upto the mark as compared to yah Mohideen, Salem RR Briyani. How if i get chance to eat here I would try having Briyani for lunch rather than dinner.
