Budjet friendly restaurant with good number of non veg varieties and also tastes very good.A must visit restaurant for family.

It was good some years before and the slowly the taste is got down and cost become high.. I still had a confident and convenience my family amd bought grill full , Kerala parota and Kerala chicken curry.. first shock is Kerala parota is 43 rs for 1 piece, even then the taste of all food is very worst then ever. I never expected this and I strongly recommend ppl not to try here.

I have ordered for kizhi parotta and panneer 65. In the menu they dont have panneer 65 at all. When asked for it, they said they will give. Later it was very shocking by seeing the bill. Kizhi parotta is 190 and panneer 65 is 199. When asked for the reason they asked me to meet the manager who hasnt turned back even after waiting for 15 mins. I left the hotel with great disappointment.

Actually I came for take away and ordered veg fried rice and gobi Manchurian. Both are excellent. Especially Gobi Manchurian (Dry) was awesome. The taste was very excellent

Taste is like home food. Kili type briyanias are good in taste. Prices also reasonable..only problem is traffic to reach the hotel. It is located at busiest road way.

One of my favourite place to eat Kerala dishes ... The hilights of this place is the quality of food. They use good oil and no preservatives.. so no after effects after eating food from here. One another thing is the price .. its very reasonably charged.. you can blindly order and eat from here

Inhuman attitude of the hotel.I am regular customer to this hotel. I used to dine in here frequently . I am big fan for their kerala dishes and kizhi parotta.But few days back myself along with my wife and my 2 months old baby stopped there for evening tea and snacks while returning from temple. Since it is covid time and my 2 months old baby was with us i decided to go inside and get tea and snacks to eat inside the car itself in order to avoid exposing my baby to any possible infection.But the person sitting in the cash counter denied my request. So i explained the reason why i wanted to eat inside my car which is parked just outside the hotel door. I told i will return the tea glass safely. He denied. Then i requested to give one glass of tea for my wife alone who was feeding my babe inside the car. But he didnt bother about anything. It may be their policy but they are supposed have some humanity towards babies especially in covid time like this.We got upset and went to home with hunger and bad mood because of this incident.I will never ever go back to dine in this hotel.

Never stepin to this hotel with a mindset to obtain basic customer service . Please expect to be treated poorly and also expect the food quality to be nominal at a 5 star price. Never will I step in.

1star less for not being upto the mark of original quality of their main branch in Nungambakkam. Otherwise its a good place with ample parking place, located in main road, spacious interiors, customer friendly, etc. Kerala style Briyani is not upto the mark, wouldnt suggest the same. Being budget friendly is the main advantage of Crescent and it retains that legacy.

One among the best kizhi parota and kizhi biriyani no doubt.With respect to home delivery: cresentss response is very very poor. Delivery distance they say 3km but I can challenge that within in 3 km they can find only commercial places, bypass road and there is not much residence except few apartments near Apolo hospitals.With respect to swiggy delivery; its totally cheating. Photo attached for proof.At hotel Rs. 185/- for veg kizhi parota and at swiggy they are charging Rs. 289/-, that too the delivery distance within 5km. 👎Rs.104 extra!! Its totally nonsense 🙄😒Totally disappointed on home delivery part and stop this cheating process.

Food was good and service by Sukku (waiter) was very good.Fish was crispy outside and juicy inside and was worth for the money.Biriyani and grill chicken was good.Chicken fried rice was spicy, black pepper could have been avoided.Royal faluda was served as per our choice, which was yummy

The ambiance is good.. But the food was horrible and below average... Ordered ghee rice n fish curry... The ghee rice was cold and the fish curry had a bone piece inside!! They didnt care to see if the ghee rice was cold!! The kizhi parotta was really good.. Ive previously had an horrible experience ordering the ghee rice via home delivery.. I guess u hav to be careful about u order at this restaurant.. Overall I would say it was a bad experience!! Some of my friends had a bad experience too.. Guess this place keeps up its record of providing bad experiences to their customers

Good kerala style restaurant. The taste of their dishes were yop notch. The ambience wasnt that good. Must try dishes are mutton biriyani, chicken malabar biriyani and tender coconut souffle. Moderately priced. Located on highways.

Had chicken kizhi parotta, chilli parotta, and parotta combo set. Everything was OK. Had Mutton brain fry. It was full of goats hair(See image). Initially when we took out two - three hairs we thought its over. But as we dig we got lot of hair. We took 20% of the part served, we found nearly 25-30 hairs. We had to return. They took the courtesy to cancel the order without justifying. That was one good thing.

Had kizhi biriyani, paneer tikka and 2 mint limes, and the bill was at Rs.550.The kizhi biriyani was tasty with the chicken perfectly cooked and more than enough pieces with a chapati at the bottom of the kizhi. Paneer tikka pieces were huge and well prepared served with a chutney. The mint lime was also tasting nice with quite a considerable quantity for the price.The desserts placed in the fridge on the way to the wash was a luring tactic, but because of lack of time and further appetite, couldnt succumb to it. But Im sure it would taste as good as it looked!Would definitely give this restaurant a visit when crossing the area the next time.COVID aspects: A sanitizer stand stands welcome close to the door which is kickable bidirectionally. The door to the washroom area is however unidirectional, hence the pull would need a touch. Servers do wear masks. No temp checks upon entry. Contact-less taps would also be a great welcome to minimize contact opportunities. Has tap machines for contact-less payments but the machine is within the counter defeating its true purpose.Overall COVID fight rating: 2/5

Wonderful food. Kizhi parota was utterly delicious. Underrated restaurant. Its a gem of a place actually. Must try restaurant for all the non vegetarian lovers.
