Was not expecting much from a veg only restaurant, with a not so great decor and seemingly less interested staffs. May be that was all a setup to take us by surprise with some really taste bud tingling food. Borderline awesome but not really a wallet dissolver. Can pick it for a peaceful lunch with a friend or two

Eden after AgesWent for dinner. Order in photographs.Food was very good but am rating 4/5 because of poor service. With three kids in our midst and the smallest one demanding water multiple times the waiter who came to take our order showed his face, when I first demanded that he serve us water.Being in Chennai the first thing you expect is water to be served - here it was not, even after multiple requests.Food was served quite quickly and all items tasted very good. Food presentation was equally impressive.

Visiting this place was a sudden plan. While looking for a pure veg restaurant with multiple varities found this place...The options was many. Had Italian and Indian cuisine. Starters were good and tasty. Worth the price. Main course tried Naan and gravy. Felt both gravy were almost same but taste was good. Also had veg Biryani which was tasty and full of masala. Lastly had desert which was way tooo big and can be shared by 3 people for a single serving which was chocolate cake with cream. Had too much expectations on it but wasnt that great as chocolate cake and the liquid sause was hot but the cream was suttle and tasteless. Overall a good experience. You also have tiffin items there in Indian cuisine. Rates are reasonable and staff were super sweet and served super quick. A place worth trying.

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend. The ambience is pretty cozy.Ordered a cottage cheese steak and lasagna for main course and a soup 1/2.The soup was hot and tasty with ample quantity for both of us, the main course was very delicious and they actually have a lot of veggies in their dishes and the quantity is very good as well, loved it.Slightly on the expensive side but totally justified by the quantity and quality.Service is nifty and good.OVERALL RATING : 4/5

Eden is my most favourite place in Besant Nagar to stop by for some delicious vegetarian food. Located on the first floor, it isnt very spacious, but has a lovely ambience and decor. They serve really good North Indian food. The must tries are the continental starter. The quantity is really good for the prices, and is a great place for a happy, satisfied meal with your family.

It is so funny that I always eat 6 or 7 items last 25 years out of several hundred best and tasty menu they have. One of the best place to eat - vouched by my family members and friends. 😀

They have given a new definition to vegetarian food in terms of taste and presentation. Its an amazing place to enjoy delicious light food. Wanted to visit Eden for long time. Food was ok but there is something missing. Tried Rotis, stuffed paratha, butter naan and paneer pulav. Rotis become soft too soon. Pulav was dry, can add some ghee. Paneer tikka masala was normal. Nothing to rave about.

#veg#casualdining#continentalThe place is a bit cramped. It does not have a great ambience for the price they charge. This is the first time I tried veg continental dishes. It was not that great may be for a pure non vegetarian like me.Fried Babycorn, I loved those. It was french fries equivalent.Hara bhara starter, masala pappad was okayish. We ordered spinach pancake which looked like lasagne and also tasted like lasagne with spinach inside. Few ordered roti with tender coconut curry and capsicum curry.Tender coconut curry was watery and more keralesque while capsicum curry everyone liked.Spicy bowl rice was standard taste of spicy rice with gravy.Overall experience was decent. If you want to try vegetarian only restaurants with continental dishes, try Eden. But come with no expectations.

This is a great place for continental dishes served with Indianised twist. Be it a lasagna or mango cheesecake or corn starter, you are very likely to love them. Eden is a great little restaurant in Besant Nagar .No fuss, clean and neat. Very popular. I was there for lunch and the place was packed. We ordered Indian and Continental from the menu and werent disappointed.Great mocktails. Big plus according to me - they use paper straws. Nice to know they care for the environment.I ordered a lasagne, other dishes ordered were the Madras risotto, piri Channa and rahi vada. Everything was tasty and the portions are generous. For dessert we ordered a slice of the Bannofee pie and Tiramisu. Both were excellent.Quiet efficient service. Casual place which attracts people of all age groups.

The food has stayed with the same recipe for over a decade showing just how good it really is. My personal favourite is the spaghetti supreme. This is very famous vegetarian hotel in Besant Nagar. Vegetarian dishes are decent and vegans might like the food a lot. Id visited this place about 16 years back and went there today. I could see one thing has not changed in this place. Customers are made to wait for long time. Might be because there are few who wait the tables. If that is changed, experience would be very different. Hope, they correct it soon
