The starters were good. The main dish biryani were okay. Parking sucked. Service was horrible considering there was many staff. Some of the staff was okay but most were attentive.

Awesome taste of seeraga samba rice mutton biriyani, mandatory try muru muru meen, thava fish. Dragon chicken quantity is less I think and chicken is over boiled so hard to chew but wise good. Reasonable price for family parties and dining.

Great Traditional Taste ever... Especially That Egg biriyani in Seeraga Samba rice with Pepper Chicken combination is ultimate... 😋...

Not Bad not super good..I ate baby corn Manchurian, Mutton Biriyani, mushroom fried Rice. Manchuriyan very Good, Biriyani very average may be i was in wrong time(3.40pm), fried rice not up to the taste they must change the recipe...

Food is tasty , but they could name the thalapakatti biryani they serve as kids portion . The rice was tasty with great flavour , but chicken felt just nothing more than a chilli in fried rice 🤷‍♂️ maybe muttons better .

When we are demanding for Nattu kozhi ( country chicken 🐔) roast or anything, they are always mixing one or two pieces of broiler chicken peace also. Otherwise the taste is very good. This type of mixtures cant find out in Kuppanna and other reputed shops.

Used to be very good but the food taste and quality have come down recently. Even the famed mutton biriyani I had recently didnt match up to the old days. When that quality is compared against the price, the price is definitely high. The restaurant has good ambience though.

Today I ordered food from your restaurant via swiggy. But you sended the expired food.i was in hungry mood so ate that wasted food .finally i realized that food was expired. Still that small was in my mouth.i frequently used to order in ur restaurant I never expect this kind of expired food from ur side

Food was great but a bit overpriced. Right from the starters to the main course the taste was phenomenal. The ambience was really nice. The staff were very polite and attended to all our requests.The downside was that the place was a bit crowded and the seating arrangements were a little too close to each other. Some of the items we requested were also not available though it was mentioned in the menu.

Very poor service quality. They have nothing in stock on most days. Most days they serve only apologies... That too delayed. Also the kitchen is extremely noisy. You will feel that the chefs are brawling inside.

They dont give you Mutton chukka when you dine in person at 8.15 PM and say its not available but online order for Mutton chukka is available at same time as they get more commission. I complained once and explained it to manager, he was shouting to the fellow workers at the kitchen and sorted it out. Still continues when I visited today. Worst behaviour.

Wonderful experience. Great good. Consistent taste and standard. The menu has authentic recepies from around Tamil Nadu. Keep us the good standard.I was a bit surprised to find waiters and boys from the NE India. The person who took our order was not a local, he could hardly understand what we were talking, which was the only downside. It would be a complete experience to have someone who speaks both Tamil and English to walk us through the menu for a better hospitality.

Mutton pieces were burnt too much could see black spots all over, rice was dry and Raitha smells & tastes old. Pls pls consider this seriously!! Honesly eating your briyani made me think I could ordered a mutton briyani from road side shop and it would have tasted better than yours. No joking even my pet didnt take it so had to throw it.

Food was awesome as usual.But we had to wait for a longtime to place the order for dine-in. Actually there were only few people were eating, but we felt like as it was very crowded seeing the delay in response and delay in service.It could have been better with less waiting time and quicker actions in terms of attending the customers.

Guess, its more to do with the time of our dining time, where we didnt get the best of the deal they had to offer. The biriyani was dead cold and soggy. couldnt get the rasam due to late time of ours. Since except biriyani and the nethil fry, couldnt get else from the menu, bit disappointed. Reaching Chennai first I want to and also tried the famous Dindigul thalapakettu biriyani and aatukal soup...The ambience is really good and after a tiring journey relaxing and having a soup is so good that keeps you fresh. Service was ok but no point buying biryani.. youd only get the rice .. so better order something where you get value for your money.. so never get biryani from these guys.

This restaurant is good for non veg options. Has wide variety in non veg starters and main course. Briyani asusual their ultimate dish and maintains the traditional taste. BBQ Chicken, tawa fish also good.Non veg meals is nice unless if you buy additional gravey of your choice, gravey provided with meals are tasteless.

We have ordered a bucket biriyani (10 members eatable) for Ramzan., They told that 10 pieces in biriyani and 10 Fried piece and 10 boiled egg., When we opened only 6-7 piece of fried piece. and there no not even single piece in biriyani.., Taste was okay but it was really not satisfied.

Its not about food. Sunday and Over crowded. Clearly they couldnt handle dine-in and online delivery. I dont blame the employees but management. No one to guide us for seating, just occupy a seat if you can. Order was taken late and further delay in getting the bill. Good luck.

Peace ful environment friendly staffs

Had been there over the weekend on a Sunday for a lunch around 2 pm. Starters came, then soups came (Inspite of requesting for soups to come first) and post that we had to wait for a good 20 min before main course came. Tawa Fish is a sure NO-GO. Did not even smell close to a fish. Biriyani had just one piece on top of the bowl and taste was not upto the mark. After requesting for Raitha for about 10 minutes to multiple people, they served cut onions with no curd(Pic attached). It make the meal so pathetic. Am still a great fan of Thalappakatti Biriyani, but would change my menu if this was the only hotel nearby. Also Messaged my feedback to the number put up in the notice board but no response yet. It has been more than 24 hours(Pic Attached). Pathetic Service !!! Only thing that was tasty was Vanilla Ice cream :P I seriously wish they improve !

In this covid situation they have maintained well precautions.Must try Fish finger starter, it was delicious. Price list was according to set up so plan well if its budget treat.

OMG, my must visit place in Chennai whenever Ive been, delicious food, awesome menu, great ambience... Whenever Ive been here I always try to eat Mutton biryani but this time I went there at around 3PM and its finished, so I tried chicken biryani.. Biryani rice was awesome and chicken also but you only get one piece of chicken, that is not good because they are charging you around Rs 220 bit of expensive, biryani is definitely sufficient for one person and they serve you on Banana leaf which you definitely feel good, the only thing they lack of they dont try to serve you on plate, they just bring food from kitchen to your table and they will go, you have serve food on your own, initially it is on but after having half you cant hold food bowl and spoon with your wet hands.. Other than else you definitely love the food...

Lock down service is too poor, hard earned money ended with Gushka.. no pieces:-(

One of my friends hosted his daughters first year birthday anniversary here. It was very well decorated and we were served with great dinner. All the dishes were delicious. We loved to eat and tried all items in the counter. Would surely recommend to friends and family. Please visit if you live closely.

Some dishes were good and some not so. Tawa fish was an utter disappointment. It didnt smell like fish, taste like fish. It was so bland. Salt was inadequate in few of the items.

Very bad customer service. It took 30 mins to get hot water.. Almost 1 hour to get Soup.. Very very slow service. Fed up with waiting.. Schezwan Noodles tasted really bad. Too much oil in chilly fish. Very less mutton pieces in biriyani... Totally disappointed.. Never expected in a outlet located in prime location. They should first focus/serve dine in customers. If they cant serve properly they should shut down dine in service and deliver online orders only...😞
