After searching for hours together found this place from a video on YouTube. Its was really tough to find a nice vegetarian restaurant with a class and good reviews. Since vegetarian hotels is all about paneer and mushrooms we wanted to get some change in taste. This place is a fantastic place with a beautiful location and ambience. The food is yum with variety of options completely different from the normal menu. Rates are absolutely normal and range between 200 to 350 per item. Quantity is great. Added a picture too. Staff were kind and addressed very well. Overall this is a great go to place for vegetarians for an outing with friends, family or for couples. You must give it a try.
Their food was nice. For starters you should try Gobi manchurian. It was medium spicy and also ordered masala papad which was spicy.(pic not taken) . Sweet corn soup was better than manchow soup and tomato soup. We ordered butter roti and paneer butter masala and malai kofta. Roti was okay okay but both sabszi were nice. This is a family restaurant and here we were totally 15members and the waiters still were handling each one easily and were well mannered.
Delhi Highway - is a north Indians paradise. Id give a heartfelt 5/5 for the ethnic ambience and the warm staff. The exotic dishes and the antique - like cutlery and plates made the fine dishes taste even finer! Great place for an evening out with your family. Since they have an array of dishes to pick from, it will keep everyone equally satisfied.
I didn’t like the food at all.It was just paneer everywhere..Its not even good for health
Worth for money but we are accepting more like they advertisement..
The food was not up to the mark like they have in citadines.. thali was not served.. got a late response to my question in gmaps from yesterday... The ambience isnt good either.. the manager however was concerned and asked my feedback.. very disappointed with the food. Barring a few, they were served nearly cold.. no proper utensils.. dont visit this outlet.. try citadines...
For North Indian foods one of the best place
We had a very good lunch here.
Good restaurant taste is really good worth for price
Great Ambiance. Courteous staff. Touch expensive but a great place to dine for Vegetarians. Serves good food quantity. Definitely worth a visit for north Indian Veg food in Chennai.
Waste of money taking charge for onion
The food was good and the pricing was reasonable. Good fast service and would change the music if you ask. What more would you want from a restaurant?
A namesake Dhaba set off the mandatory highway ! Food or ambience is nothing special to write home about. Just basic fares. Pricing is quite steep for the quality served.
Nice taste
Awesome north indian food...delhi lassi is signature desert.
Lousy food, very costly and lousy service. Dont even try waste of money.
Nice place ,good ambience, very close to railway station
Nice food severed nice place for family lunch and dinner
Amazing vegetarian food. Loved the achari paneer and mushroom masala. Easily under the list to visit at least once.
Wonderful place for veg food. My favorite restaurant in Chennai and quality is always to notch. Slightly on the costlier side but not super costly.

Nice place and good food
Restaurant serves delicious punjabi- delhi dishes in Chennai. Nice staff dressed in North indian style greets and serves you. Feels like sitting in a punjabi Restaurant.
Food is good here. Thali which we had was good and sufficient 😊
The only place in the whole of city where you get the amazing taste of the north
A lil exorbitant for normal dal roti though is tastes delicious.
Nice
A small place but offers good vegetarian food. North Indian style preparation
Generally, Delhi Highway has the best of the Thalis. However, for some strange reason, found the Nungambakkam one better.
Best place to have lunch and dinner with a variety of north indian dishes.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE RESTAURANT/BRANCH IN NUGAMBAKKAM (WALLACE ROAD).First of all, the owners and workers in this restaurant need to understand they are running a restaurant business in which customer service and satisfaction is the key to their success. We, a party of 7 went for lunch around 1:30pm, they made us wait for 15 mins and then we realized they completely forgot that we were waiting as we saw other folks walking in after us and occupying table. So we went and reminded them again. The manager was visibly irritated when we reminded him again. As a punishment for reminding him, he gave us a small table with 7 chairs which was hardly good for only 4 people. Yet we sat there because we wanted to eat and have fun with our friends. The waiter came, with a very sulky face told us Just order Thali, ala carte menu will take very long so we were literally forced to just look at only the Thali menu and when we were ready to order he came back, again with a very serious face, No Thali available, just go with ala carte menu.We told him we just want 4 thalis, rest can be ala carte so can you go in and check. he went in came back and started taking orders from another table. we called him and he came to us and told us in a very stern voice that we had to wait. Then after sometime he came and was ready to take the order, and we asked him if he checked for Thali, he gave a big irritating sigh and left our table to check again. came back, again went to another table to do something. This was the breaking point, we decided to leave. I wanted to give a feedback to the guy, so called manager, sitting at the cashier desk. He was so lethargic and didnt even offer a sorry... just stared at me when i was giving all the comments and just waited for us to leave the restaurant. What a pathetic customer service. Never been to a restaurant where the management is so rude, lethargic and they were behaving as though we are at their mercy and it is our duty to keep quiet and just eat whatever is available and leave. If this is the kind of service they provide, i am really not sure about the quality of the food there.
Dont visit this place on Sunday night. Half the menu items are not there on Sunday. Service is hopeless. Desserts are not there. No thali biggest drawback. Not a good place to visit this place on Sunday.
Nice ambience with variety of North Indian delicacies. Dont miss their lassi in pot
