Must try, no other words to describe. The fish was definitely the best I ve ever eaten. Small tiny joint in a basement but when visiting chennai, definitely give it a visit.

Everything is good but there is only car parking..there is no parking slot for 2 wheelers.. we have to park it under the bridge..most of the time it will be full only so we have to park our bike somewhere else to eat here ...thats the only drawback...we tried everything but egg noodles is horrible please don’t choose that..it doesn’t have any taste otherwise everything is good ..price is also reasonable....service is good ..they patiently waited till we told our order...must try paneer tawa fry its too good..we loved it ..

I had the Mutton Mughal Biryani, it was good. I had it take away. So i cant say much about the dine in experience. But the food was good quality and it had sufficient mutton pieces and cooked well, rice was tasty without too much of masala or spiciness(just the right amount of spiciness). It came along with an egg, raitha & brinjal gravy. All were packed neatly and given to me.I did not use swiggy or zomato, it was a direct take away, so i cannot talk about that delivery experience.

One of the best Kerala restaurant in chennai!Kizhi parotta, kappa, ada payasam were vera level taste, highly recommended. But they just reheated pazham pori, too oily.

This Kerala food joint on LB Road is evidently popular in the vicinity, as there was a bustling crowd by 7pm for dinner. Its located in the basement but the signage is visible from the street. The tables are spaced & the waiters wear masks. Paper plates were provided for dining. Ask for hot water if you want the karinazhi vellam.We had bulls eye hoppers or appams with mutton curry and karimeen (pearl spot) pollichathu. The food tasted great and the prices were competent. The staff were friendly & courteous. Service was very fast considering the full house.They didnt have shawarma going that day though! We were too full for dessert, but the falooda seemed popular going by the number of tall glasses that passed by us. They accept cash, card, GPay & the likes.

This Place is too good to have a Family Dine. Main highlight of this place is Briyani varieties because it is mild without not much Chilly Flavour. Another must try item in this restaurant is Chicken Pothi Parotta. Tandoori Chicken is also mild and perfectly cooked. Other dishes are average here. Overall you can have a good non veg dine here. The cost is slight higher here than others.

Personally a fan of kerala cuisine since it runs in my blood.This place offers authentic kerala cuisine. This is a go to place for us when we are bored of cooking at home but still want to eat home like food.My fav is kozhi porichathu and fish curry. It tastes exactly like how my grandmom used to prepare.The quantity is filling and quality is good.It is also not very pricey. I feel its worth the food.

Very very very poor customer service. Had to request raitha 4 times for getting it first time. Also the service was not good. Im a regular customer there and Ordered ghee rice and chicken curry and all they gave was chicken curry with two bone piece. Chicken curry was not enough as it was given in a little bowl and so I asked second time and they gave a different chicken curry which did not taste good. Very disappointed.

Easy on the pocket and amazing food to go along with it.The place has a great ambience and plentiful seating though it is crowded.The food tastes great and priced quite reasonably as well.The staff were quick and very pleasant to speak with and the wait time for the food wasnt that long as well.All in all a great place to fill your tummy.

Family restaurant with a lot of options including few Kerala dishes.. Prime location next to A2B, Adyar. Car Parking available (3-4 cars though). Prices are approx.400-600 per person for a heavy dinner. Food was good.They have a starter drink grape punch which is really really good. A must try. It is chargeable though.We had royal falooda as a desert which was not that good.I had Grilled chicken, kozhi porochadhu (fried chicken), spl barbecue chicken dishes which were good. Basa fish (tawa fry) was bit salty.Service was not good at all. They need to improve. I saw people cancelling a dish due to delay and one particular waiter (serving near the kitchen area tables) rudely responding to that. Good Hospitality is lacking in this place.The ambience is not that great. But a value for money family restaurant.

I am a regular visitor to this place. They keep trying new delicacies like tawa shawarma, grilled shawarma and try to stick with the more popular ones. Food tastes good here always. Should definitely have grilled chicken if you like to have grill and barbecue type chicken. The limited parking space is the only con here.

Theyve Ela payasam and Ada payasam, we tasted the former it was good. They serve good amount of food for the money, which makes this hotel a great VFM place. This hotel is located near Adyar signal. We reached the restaurant pretty early than we usually have lunch. I not knowing much about the restaurant requested my friend to order (of course suggested dishes as she is a frequent visitor). I was calm and quiet for 2 reasons, 1. Im new to the restaurant. 2. She decides whenever we go out. Enough of the build ups. Coming to our orders, Ill list them down and review it to my knowledge and how my taste buds find it. We ordered the below1. Mutton chops2. Egg Aapam(3)3. Idiyappam(3)4. Nethili Fry5. Aval Milk(2)Mutton Chops: We thoroughly enjoyed it. The taste was good. Nothing to complaint. They semi gravy was perfectly cooked and went well with both the Egg Aapan and Idiyappam. However we definitely have had much better than this.Egg Aapam/Idiyappam: We both are a fan of these rice based food. Both of us liked it( I am not going to take much about a dish unless it has masala flavours in it).Nethili Fry: Dei you will never find a perfect nethili fry until you eat in roadside/seaside/muniyandi vilases. But I am sure this fry one came out went and I know I had the last nethili fry.Aval Milk: This was her suggestion and since I go by her orders, we waited for the milk which took longer time than usual. The milk was a mix of jagerry, nuts, aval(flattened rice). I became a big fan of this drink and recommend to whoever I know. Thanks to her.Ambience: The ambience was not too posh. we didnt ask for it either. It is decent place for all families too. I felt AC could have been regulated better because this summer is haunting us. I was also said this restaurant dont use refrigerated food, no food adulterants.Price: Even though she paid the entire bill I should review the pricing. This place is definitely not a costly place to visit. Affordable and good place to hangout.Overall Rating of mine is 4* out of 5. Do visit for your own experience 🙂

The food is ok. They have replaced the cutlery with paper plates. Although it is good from hygiene point of view, it is awful as a dining experience. Would not recommend going there. It would be better if one goes for take away. However, their choclate milkshake was fantastic!

Love the Kerala fare that you get here. Very sumptuous food at a very much affordable price at this time is what I love about this place. Their barbecued chicken and pollichathu are so yum and must haves. Another fab dish is the fish molagu curry. Their fish meals are just apt for a simple and delicious meal as well. Parking is available. The place gets a tad crowded at prime hours, so you might want to get in early, if youre going in a group.

Good food and service. Shawarma, Arabian and Kerala based dishes are really good. You get Shawarmas even for Lunch here which in general is available only on evenings in most places. Malabar Biriyani is a good choice in main course. For the desert Avil Milk and Tender coconut payasam( Coconut suffley) are awesome and must try.

Had an excellent office dinner party. Really tasty food. Only issue is space crunch. Never forget to try the Royal Falooda..awesome..

One call this value for money, chicken samosa being good enough blah blah etc etc,But thier service Sucks, its really bad.They dont even talk to you properly, everything you have to talk to captain and once he says they will do it.It took to serve our table with chicken samosa more than ten minutes.For main course i asked them abt wheat roti, they said they will prepare fresh and give it hot. What came back was regeated one. Looks like these people do not understand diff between preparing fresh and reheating. Briyani was not hot, it was luke warm.Food whatever it may be, if the person servicing smiling and communicating back would make one eating happy.

Crescent Adyar and the one in Anna nagar are both really good quality restaurants that maintain their standard despite the situations and environment around them. Covid19 comes and I can non-touch menus using QR code and automated liquid soap dispensers. Even plates are use and throw cardboard type now. Tastes good as usual. Would always recommend for a good meal. The atmosphere though super fine-dining type. But still would fall under fine dining I suppose.

Crescent is an okay place with a kind of ambience where you would go with your guy / gal friends but your family-yeah may be..but the food is really brillaint with a touch Kerala. I liked the Fish polichathu and mixed fried rice. It was really awesome. I happened to have a mixed fried rice earlier once in ThalaPaKaTti which was very good. But this was equally good. Overall my experience was good with food but delayed service is to be expected. Dont go if you are really hungry and want something to fill you immediately
