I must eat there at least one time when I visit Marion Amish friends. This trip I devoured the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was scrumptious!!!

Small country diner with proprietor service. Very tasty lunches and surprisingly extensive menu. I went traditional chopped steak brown gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes with a 🌽 pone. Delicious 😋 I didnt see Ellie-Mae but I did see Candy!

First time there. Went for lunch. Had chicken salad sandwiches. They were pretty good. Sandwiches should have been cut in half. No one was masked, so that was concerning. Looking forward to going back after things calm down or they start requiring masks. Service was excellent.

Great American food. Service was great. No mistakes and always there to fill a drink. We are so glad we found this place in Martin KY. Is an easy trip from cave in rock to some good food

The food was delicious and came out fast, and the service was also good. I have no complaints, but as someone who goes out to a lot of restaurants, I dont think this one will stand out in my memory.... but is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

In town to tend to my dads passing and this was the best meal Ive had in the last 2 weeks. Im pretty sure theyll be keeping me fed the duration of my visit.

Excellent food, very attentive and friendly service. We decided to try it based on other Google reviews we found. Just two things:1. If you use a credit card, expect a $1 cust svc fee to be added to your bill. At least thats what I was guessing the fee was for. Must be a Kentucky thing...2. Masking practices by the staff were poor. They wore masks but very rarely had their noses covered. That kind of negates the whole point. (Is this another Kentucky thing?)Not taking off any stars for the above because the positives were really really strong here.

First time going to Candys Kitchen and it was awesome!!!! Saw her ad in the paper, said it was homecooking YEP the ad was right. My husband and I are sitting here totally satisfied and stuffed to the brim. Candy and her staff are the sweetest. We WILL be making this restaurant a regular stop. ❤

Took my wife and son here today for lunch. Try this place out, you wont be disappointed!! I had the double serving of country fried steak and it was fantastic.

The customer service is beyond expectations. They make sure to go out of their way and make my order correct. If any thing is wrong they make up for it in a heart beat. Their Chicken salad is my favorite thing to order, It is absolutely amazing. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job, Keep up the good work!

We enjoyed our meal at Candys Kitchen! I would go just for the sweet tea!! Super clean, staff was very friendly and attentive. Husband had the meatloaf and I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Both were good. This place sure filled up fast on Sunday!

Meatloaf okay - ketchup drizzled over it not covered in it. It was very firm not tender. Ate one green bean - mouth on fire, too peppery. Nice metal building but it was cold inside to me. It was a new place to try so we tried it.

Friendly service and the best breakfast we have in a restaurant in a long time. Everything was delicious. They beat out Cracker Barrel. We definitely will be back soon.

Comfort food cooked fresh daily, ever-changing southern specials, sides, and desserts. Friendly family owned staff. A bit outside of the Marion city limit but worth the short drive. Meatloaf was great!

Wonderful little place. The waitress was very helpful with the menu and her attitude was cheery and on top of her job. The food was great. I had the chicken Mediterranean and my husband had the southwestern salad, it was on the specials menu. Definitely will go back there again when I come into town.

I highly recommend the fried cod...was delicious and the service was outstanding!!

We asked someone at a local business where a good place to eat lunch was and they suggested Candys Kitchen so we tried it. Wonderful place! Nice country atmosphere, friendly staff, good food at a good price. I really loved the decor- even the ladies room was beautifully decorated. We will be sure to stop in again next time were in the area.

Cute place! One of our meals was cold, dont know if they can only make 1 omelet at a time, but if there are 2 or more in an order, they need to figure out how to keep the others hot. But there was a lot of meat in the omelet! There was bread on a plate, mostly on top of the omelet, that was specifically asked to not be on there due to an allergy. And the cherry on top was that the waitress didnt even come back to the table to check on us. Cups were empty, and wed waited a while for more and finally just left.

Wait staff leaves a lot to be desired, hot brown sandwich was not very good, blackened tilapia was not blackened! They need to learn to properly cook menu items. They will charge you 4% of your bill if you use a card and when we complained about that ridiculous charge we were told to bring cash next time. There will not be a next time for us. I do not recommend this place.

Had a salad, had gotten ranch dressing for it, when they brought it out, there was bubbles all on top of dressing. They had watered it down, when I put the dressing on my salad, it was very thin and ruined my salad.

The food is great but the place is a little crowded for me a busy times.

Clean, most prices are reasonable. Very little home cooking, most frozen & prepackaged, fried, slaw. Some desserts, mediocre. Service is not the best.
