This hotel is located right on Triplicane high road. Maintenance is reasonably good inspite of being in a run down locality. The food is tasty and does not reek of masala. Prices are quite fair. Good place to visit when shopping in the area.

Nice old ambience traditional with employees remembering uniform of decade ago, very polite and friendly. Coffee was nice and service is very quick and perfect.

A new branch of Hotel After Ananda Bhavan, called as A2B, was opened a year back in Triplicate High Road. The atmosphere in the hotel is very nice & people come with families & enjoy the food items there. A separate sweet stall is also attached here. The bearers are courteous & the food & sweet are tasty. This hotel has a parking lot for 2 & 4 wheelers & wheel chair convenience for handicapped.

I have never been more upset about not being able to eat more food then when I went here for dinner, I have ordered almost everything in the menu and when they say South Indian it is 100% accurate. Even the Tandoori and Chinese are prepared well and delicious at affordable price. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Nice place for vegetarians. Typical south indian dishes are available in the restraurant. Lunches, dinners and combos are available for a specific time of the day. Service provided there is good and fast enough. You can only pay with card if the bill is over 100 rs. Otherwise you need to pay with cash.

I prefer Ananda Bhawan generally for mini tifin in morning.Mini tifin is a perfect breakfast here. You will get aprox 6 mini items like one idly, one dosai/poori, pongal, cofee/milk in in mini tifin. And all items are good.
