Nice restaurant.. pretty good ambience with ample parking facilities.Place is neat , spacious and staff well behaved.. must visit if you need some break from normal daily lifestyle food.. prices are average.. taste is good too . We went to the restaurant at 7.30 and by that time most of the menu items were done. And we got some garlic chicken and kerala parata. The garlic chicken was so nice... It had wonderful flavours. But the chilli chicken was a little bit disappointing. The beef roast was also good.

The food quality was really poor. Disappointed with the service as well. When asked about a suggestion Box, the response from staff wasnt nice either. Got to know that boss is not around and they dont care of my feedback.

This restaurant is located 1.5-2km from Changanaserry KSRTC bus station. Being a lone resider in the given location, one can reach the restaurant by direct buses plying through the location, or via ample number of autos. The front courtyard is galore for parking (quite a plenty!) The restaurant is handheld by its juice bar & coffee shop.Coming to the interior, the bill desk & a collection of antiques harbour the entrance side view. The dining space, analogous to the front courtyard, is aplenty in space. There are over 15 dining tables on a rough count. The interior is well-lit with rich LEDs spreading a shade of the same incandescent lights. The lighting is quite splendid. Another peculiarity is the space allotted for each dinings. There are different sets of 6-seater dinings & 4-seater dinings; corresponding to the dining suitable for the incoming customer numbers. The scullery is quite visible from the dining space & is not masked behind the doors, unlike other restaurants.All different forms of naadan dishes are available aplenty here; ranging from the traditional, sensational Beef roast to myriad of sea food (prawns/fish/mussel), all at not-so-high cost. Flavour & taste are quite good, with epicentre on spice & aroma. All accompaniments including Kerala style Porotta, Wheat Porotta, Pathiri/ types of Naan (Garlic/Plain/Butter), Pathiri and more.Quantity is suitable for 2 for any types of curry items. Size of the porotta/Chappathi is ideally large, comparable with its price. No Arabian items are noticed here, quite missing the sensational taste of notable Arabian cuisines like Shawai/Al-Faham.GST rate is just ₹12 (CGST+SGST), which is fairly below par & reasonable for a good-quality, fully air-conditioned restaurant like Kanthari. Good ambience is guaranteed at Kanthari restaurant.

I went to Kanthari restaurant changacherry with my family. The ambience of the restaurant is really brilliant. The restaurant is huge and I would give 5 star for cleanliness. The staff behaviours was really good all of them were well mannered. And food was tasty and great in amout. Brilliant hotel to be with family and friends.

We had experienced poor customer service from this restaurant. We had ordered a parcel from the restaurant where in which the packaging was not proper and it got leaked. When we informed the management they refused to own up any responsibility citing technicalities. Judge for yourself.

We are from outside Kerala and wanted to deliver food in Changanassery and called Kanthari Restaurant . I must say this - the customer service, the politeness, end to end resolution, follow up and at the end, providing that assurance to us stating it will be delivered on time as per my requirement... All these was beyond my imagination. These are the qualities every service industry to maintain. And finally the taste of the food was ultimate. I spoke to Mr Akash and its not only him who showed all the qualities but other staffs as well. Keep going guys. Good job!

If u thik the food is over priced just take a bite , its worth the money that we pay . I dont think its overpriced when its compared to the food and ambience they provide . Its so much crowded on weekends that sometimes we may have to wait for at least 30 minutes to just get a table . The kanthari cooler is a nice drink that I have tasted here.

Parotta is very big. 2 is enough for 1 person. As name says curries have lot of chilli. Food was good and tasty.

The service is ridiculously amazing! And the food is outstanding! My three most important parameters for judging a restaurant and this place has probably broken the metre in every single aspect! My favourite being the delicious banana fry and beef that they serve!I love the vibe! I love the idea! One of the best and favourite restaurant...We often hit when we go through Changanassery-Kottayam bypass...Being Covid time also they are providing the best quality food.Options of food is minimal...No dining was available coz of covid protocols.But it doesnt matter coz they have maintained the service and quality of food in satisfying manner which made me and my family happy.

Not sure if it’s cause of the virus scare, but it was not that crowded when our group visited the restaurant. Had paneer butter masala parcel which I had when this hotel was opened .Thought that it would be same taste as last time.But was disappointed this time.More over food here is little expensive .But the ambience of this restaurant is pretty good which we are not able to enjoy in this situation. I initially expected the rates to be expensive by the exterior looks of the restaurant. But it turns out I was wrong.They offer great dishes at affordable rates. The ambience is great. They have a shrubbery running along the ceiling. We can actually see some of the cooks working on the other side of a transparent glass wall.We ordered Chemmeen Pollichathu and it was delightful.As of right now, theyre doing a great job at managing the existing parking space. But I feel the parking area could be extended.Overall it was a great experience. Definitely recommended.

It is one of the best restaurants in Changancherry. The waiting time is a little bit high at peak hours. The customer service and table service is really good. Good and tasty food , freshly prepared and hot. I used to go to Kanthari with my family and we all really love the ambience of the restaurant. Food quality is very nice .

I wanted to give my mother a surprise on her birthday and many friends suggested Kanthari would be a great option to order online.As I am staying abroad, I contacted Kanthari through WhatsApp and Swamynathan responded in a very friendly way and send me the menu. I ordered and delivery was made in 30 minutes. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and delivery prompt on time.
