This is the provisional home of the Sisters of the Destitutes otherwise known as SD Sisters. Their primary focus is the welfare of orphans and the homeless. It is something heart touching that they do. This particular house is were the aged sisters of the congregation reside. However there is another institute very close to this named Mercy Home which houses around 50 orphaned girls. You should definitely visit this place if you are nearby because this is where you can find the extend to which one can see how much one person can do to make anothers life so much better.
This is an institution run by Catholic sisters. About 40 people (mentally and physically challenged, (girls, ladies and children) are looked after by the sisters. All facilities are provided for their development, like brain development centre, physical exercise room, vocational training etc. The inmates have a homely feeling with the motherly care of the sisters. It is a well maintained, managed institution.
Sisters who think about their service and help to others especially the downtrodden, weak and those who cannot afford healthcare. A great institution filled with large hearts and untiring work for the poor.
Well maintained garden. Prayerful atmosphere. Silent place.
Good atmosphere , it is a convent for the sisters who follow Christ.
