I worked here in 1996 for construction of last 500 MW unit. I was staying at old colony. (I dont know weather it is still exists or not). We have wonderful neighbors. I am missing them all. MSEB has some great engineers (especially tesing and commissioning).Remembered those old days..

Chandrapur Super Thermal Power Station (often abbreviated as CSTPS) is a Thermal Power Plant located in Chandrapur District  in the Indian state of Maharashtra . The power plant is one of the coal based power plants of MAHAGENCO. With the total capacity of 3340MW, the plant is the largest power plant in the Maharashtra. It accounts for more than 25% of Maharashtras total needs. The plant gets water supply from Erai Dam when in normal conditions. In the summer of 2010 due to less water in Erai, the plant also got water supply from Chargaon Dam.

I was the first time traveller from this route and i saw two companies who r polluting our mother earth, i dont know they are following the rules and regulations but its mandatory to follow bcoz our future generation it will be a huge problem to survive as we are polluting our mother earth, make sure you dont pollute our mother earth
