I visit Mohans every time I go to Singapore. Over the years I have purchased business shirts, trousers and suits and the quality has been consistently very high. The shirts are always tailored beautifully with the right collar, cuff and rear pleat combination to suit my body type and style preferences. I usually grab several pairs of trousers in different super weights to cover me for the summer/winter seasons in Australia. Mohans always has an excellent range of fashionable fabric options which is one of the other things I like. I also enjoy just dropping in to have a chat with Max and hope to do that again as soon as the current travel circumstances change here in Australia.
I have known the owner Max Mohan for close to 30 years and used his service ever since. I cant count the number of suits, jackets, shirts and trousers I have had made at this excellent tailor shop and I am a very fuzzy customer, who am only satisfied with perfection.Max Mohan is also a very honest man, a man who sell you the fabric you ask for whether it is cheaper blended fabric or top quality fabric for e.g. Valentino or Cavendish. In Singapore, that is sadly not always the case as some shops will attempt to sell cheaper fabric than what you are paying for.Mohans Customs Tailor come highly recommended.The uploaded photo shows me, and my wife, in a 20-year-old suit Mohans once made for me. The fabric is from Valentino.

Mohan and his team did 3 shirts, 1 pants for me. First meeting to choose material, following week to do fitting, last meeting is just to collect. If you can bring a sample shirt/pants or had done some fitting before, u can skip one week. This is standard for all tailor businesses. Overall experience was the the team was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Price wise is not the cheapest, but you get what you paid for for the skills of the tailor and his undivided attention and patience. I would recommend this to anyone who doesnt mind the price and want to expand his shirt collection range or like to try out a new tailor place. They have many returning customers and i will definitely buy from them again.

Mr Mohan is a true professional. I bought my first shirts on a business trip to Singapore in 2019. Covid lockdowns has prevented me from travelling since then but Mr Mohan delivered beautiful tailored shirts by DHL to my house in Switzerland 🇨🇭. Class service and highly recommended.

Really great experience at Mohan’s. Both Uncle Peter and Uncle Mohan assisted me in a 2 piece suit. Exceptional craftsmanship and detailing, their years of experience shows. I’ve been going to Mohan’s Custom Tailors now for over 12 years ever since I first moved to Singapore in 2008. I must have bought over 70 fitted shirts and 10 Tailor made suits over the journey which I can only say were nothing short of superb. I left Singapore in 2019 only to return in 2021 and only considered one place for fitted business and casual shirts and suits. Their range of fabrics is extensive, their attention to detail and their service is first class. Max is the perfect Owner/Manager and treats his clients like family. I don’t often write recommendations but when you see excellence like Mohan’s I’m compelled to do so, 5 Stars !

Max lives up to his reputation of being a hardworking, dedicated entrepreneur who is knowledgeable in his trade with lots of experience. Able to make good suggestions and recommendations. Very courteous and treats customers with utmost respect. During peak times, can be crowded but his guys handle things efficiently. I think the best timing to visit is between lunch time and dinner time (2-5pm) on weekdays.
