Working in a german organisation, I wanted to learn German to interact better with my colleagues. I am of that opinion that a language can better be learnt with the level of interaction and discussion we have during the course. Amidst this Global Pandemic joining any offline course was next to impossible and I had a preconceived notion that an online course wouldnt be that interactive.Meanwhile my friend had introduced me to Die Deutschschule. We attended one demo lecture. In the first session itself Akshay had identified our difficulties and cleared our doubts individually. We were even given inputs on improving our accent and facial expressions while speaking so that that it appeals naturally. A cherry on the cake are the daily speaking activities. Everyday our fellow students speak on different topics.After this I was pretty convinced that if Im to join any online institute, then this is the one.Now its been almost a week that we have began with the course. In my observation so far, this institute focuses more on the way local german speakers would speak. Rather than being bookish, here we are encouraged to make mistakes, try any sentence structure at least in 3ways. Our response time, facial expression are noticed and given feedback upon, so that ultimately we could think in german, because if its just about translating then even google can do it 😅One more go to point for me is the time flexibility and attention to each individual which took away my preconceived notion about an online course,To summarise, I am glad that I made the correct choice.
