One of the frequently visited tourist attractions in chandigarh. When visiting, do take time and explore the place and the art. The place has withered with time but somehow it also adds to its charm. Some maintenance will do good. (Also tourists should keep basic cleanliness habits in mind and not litter!)

Full of creativity...the guy who created this place had a fantastic imagination...unique items have been used to create dolls such as pieces of bangles, mirrors. Although the place is so large that once youre inside it you get stunned by all the marvelous art, after some time you just want to get outside and it seems like this place never ends. It was an incredibly amazing visit over there in 30 rs ticket and the waterfall was best part to me

Ok ok park where you can see different varieties of statues made of waste material. It has small waterfall inside the park where you can take good pictures. I guess that is the main attraction of this park. You can see some statues made of waste bangles and old sockets and switches. It has small area of Doll museum. You need to find out way for exit otherwise you may lost.

Brilliant! What a great place to spend some time in beautiful city of Chandigarh. There is some good history behind it and great vision and architecture. The garden is really well maintained, clean, really big to walk but have lots of caves, waterfalls, bridges and really small doors. It also have funny mirror, traditional doll exhibition, aquarium as well huge place to eat and relax. It has some similar feels of monkey forest of Bali, Indonesia. Definitely one of the top place to visit in Chandigarh and Ill recommend to visit during winters or rainy season.

As expected... However the hype created during my childhood was missing... Some greens, rocks and small waterfalls are good enough for selfies. Visiting that doll museum having ac provided good relief from heat outside. The Sukhna lake a few hundred metres away provides good evening sitting. Beware you may tend to slip yourself or your phone into the ponds... Keep them secured.

I had visited this place way back in 2013 and also met NEK CHAND ji.the conceiver and implementer of this Notion of rock garden..it was so fresh, clean back then...the architecture detailing was completely visible...how waste is turned to dolls, creatures etc...use of bangles, pvc pipes, basins etc was noticeable...but now i guess it requires cleanliness and refurbishments and ofcourse some security guards at places....its crowded and worth one single visit only...may not be safe in evenings for women all the time ...

Entry price of one ticket for adult is Rs 30 and for kids it is Rs 10.Currently masks are mandatory and without masks entry would not be permitted. You can also visit the location in enormous heat as they have artificial waterfalls inside so it gives a splendid feeling.Make sure to visit this place once you are in Chandigarh.

Very surprisingly lot of instructions like Dont climb on walls or Dont touch the structures etc were there but we couldnt find any information board imparting any knowledge or details about the creator of those sculptures like who, when, why and how those were made. So we just roamed around, burnt good calories, watched the sculptures and returned home without any kind of information or knowledge. Overall our experience was like you watched one superhit movie without knowing its title or star cast. So better to Google before visiting this place. Caretakers should pay attention too. 😊😊

Definitely worth a visit once.Everyone has praised a lot about it so I wont talk much about it, plz read other reviews for that.Few genuine concerns/suggestions:1. There is fixed route that we have to follow. One can not exit in between in case if theres any emergency.2. If you have a toddler n have to carry it, think twice before going. Its a long walk!3. Almost all internal gates are too short to pass through comfortably. And its painful to crouch down n walk every now n then with a kid on your shoulder.Couldnt understand a reason for it. This is not a fort or something, why build gates so small?4. Avoid going on a hot day or be ready to get sweaty.5. About the dolls n statues - it looks like they have focused more on quantity than quality. Everything looks so primitive. Not sure if it is purposely designed that way. I think it could have been made better with the same materials that are used. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to criticize or downplay the efforts taken by the creative people for so many years.Anyways, Its great to see how waste materials are used so creatively!

The exhibition area of Rock Garden is divided into three different phases that have different types of installations and embellishments in them. Each phase deals with a different type of installations and walking through them is a true delight. From terracotta pots, light fixtures, and even broken toilet pots, the creator - Mr. Nek Chand has truly redefined art and craft!Tips:1. Try to visit this destination during the colder parts of the day.2. Do not litter the premises.3. Rock Garden should be visited with kids to give them an idea about the uses of what we consider as waste. It would definitely help to ignite their creativity.4. The waterfall area in the garden is particularly good for photo shoots.5. There is a lack of good food joints inside the park.

Looks like a bhul bhulaiya.most of the time u will get a feeling of walking in a ramlila maidan as space is small in comparison to footfall. Canteen is pathetic. Washrooms r dirty. Zero maintenance. crowd is segregated in a small space and most of the time u have to jostle for space. For photo/selfie buffs there r enough places for them to show their creativity. Ticket of 100rs. per person seems to be overpriced. Serious concern about the psych of the person who funded this project.

This is definitely a place to visit when in Chandigarh. An amazing place that is very unique and difficult to describe being a man-made location but feeling completely natural, resembling sometimes an archaeological site, a natural park or an open-air art exhibition, all built with Himalayan rocks and objects from a dump. Many will say that it resembles Park Guell by Gaudi in Barcelona, but it is indeed quite different and unique, with only few (less colorful) mosaics that may remind the visitors of something already seen in Barcelona. Definitely worth a visit. Take your time strolling around.

Spread across an area of 40 ac, this garden is also famous for being one of the most eco-friendly gardens in the country, as it is has been built solely by home-waste and other industrial items. Also, the sculptures in this place are being created by using items such as bangles, ceramic pots, tiles, bottles, and electrical waste. It won’t be a exaggeration to state that the brilliantly crafted sculptures in the Rock Garden of Chandigarh are a delight.
