I strongly recommend NOT TO VISIT doctor anupam goel. My preg. consultations started with her. By 4th month of the preg., I developed a loop in placenta. I was concerned about it. However doctor anupam goel suggested not to worry abt that. By 5th and 6th month she said child growth is not as per mark, but there is nothing worry (as it will pick up later). We were comforted by her statement. By the 7 month of preg., AFI started reducing. Even den she said, there is nothing worry. Finally 1 day, we went to her clinic for regular consultation (totally unaware of the danger in which our unborn child was). To our shock, she said there is need for c-sec operation and take out baby as AFI has come down. However, she insisted that we shud go for 2nd opinion (I don’t know why she suggested this..may be bcoz she knew already child was dead inside and she did not wanted to take responsibility of tht). As per her advice we went for 2nd opnion and cam back 2 her within 2 hours. Coming after 40 minutes from her home, she said BABY IS NO MORE NOWHow could a doctor not understand the gravity of the situation. Till one week before that tragic day, she said there is nothing to worry. How come in a matter of only one week, situation became soo bad that my child died. This raises question on her competence as doctor.After that we went to another hospital (I m not goin to disclose the name of the hospital, otherwise my feedback would be seen as promoting other hospital and my feedback would be labelled as fake/paid). Doctors in that hospital told us that I should have been admitted 2 weeks back and AFI had to be monitored twice a day so that c-sec cud b done before nything happns to the child. It was a shocker to me, that how can Anupam Goel can be sooo negligent.Few feedback to anyone going to this doctor for consultations:1. She only bothers about consultation charges and nothing else2. She is not available on phone, i,.e, she does not responds to calls (even not in emergency)3. She takes cases very causally (had she been pro-active enough, she would have told us about the seriousness of the situation two weeks back and NOT on the same day when my child died)4. She just don’t have the competence to handle critical cases.

Very bad experience... not at all recommended...

Went to her for 5 years till we stayed in Chandigarh.. Had our baby under her expert guidance. She is polite yet straight, her diagnosis is very good and so is her treatment.
