A great exhibit heralding Gandhis life, all the way from his struggle and resistance in South Africa to his colossal mass movements in India and rise to the stature of a Mahatma. Some very interesting nuggets of trivia about Gandhi are strewn about that make this place all the more worthwhile for someone interested in delving deeper into Gandhis political life.

Good Museum and staff also but there is no sufficient amount of material about Gandhi like i want to know from thereWhy he is rashtrapitawhy godse kill gandhi ..etc but pictures and charkha was good

Its closed due to COVID-19 Im sure. Im here now. I first came in the early nineties. Its a great bit of Chandigarh.

Small but interesting those who take interest in history.....

The museum is well maintained and decorated, consists of various works of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. It consists of the charkhas which Gandhiji use to weild Khadi. The museum also consists of Khadi revolution made by Gandhiji and had every documentation of small scale business focussed by him, to upgrade indian middle class household from poverty to sound economy. It also consists of various means taken by Gandhiji to educate society and a build a greater India, jay hind.

Nice recreated scenes, plenty too. You could see a history unfolded in these box sized replications.

Very nice, Gandhis whole life span from his salt satyagrah to jail journey are displayed here, a phone has also been displayed and one can hear his speech.
