We stayed for a day while coming back from Shimla. The location is really nice just walking distance from sector 17 market.The rooms are spacious with balcony. All basic toiletries are provided. Also electric kettle and water bottle is provided.The service is also good. Only the washroom needs a bit more maintenance. It is clean but the walls look old and damp.Coming to the buffet breakfast, it is a good spread. It has variety and is tasty.Overall it was nice stay here.

Might have been luxurious at one point in ancient times but no longer holds fort in the 3-star category. :) Great location though.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing Hotel. Spacious lobbies, Comfortable beds and rooms. The view from rooms is very peaceful. A good place to just chill and relax. Food is great. Staff is courteous. Most of the staff is senior people. Overall pleasant stay. The pool is not working though from a long time.

For a Govt Hotel it is very well maintained. It has ample variety of food and quite yummy too. Rates are very reasonable and it affords the best view of Chandigarh from its top floor Fusion Restaurant. While in Chandigarh, do visit it.

Total uneducated & unprofessional peoples are managing the hotel. Because i raised my enquiry for Day conference & Mr. Amar Singh (banquet person) said me that, we are not accepting payment after TDS. Well require 100% advance. We are not entertain any credit limit to so & so corporate.What a rubbish?They didnt know, how to talk with corporate clients. They said straight forward, do not confirm your booking. If you are going to deduct TDS.Why? its Govt norms & its a legal way.I Dont know, Why CITCO appointed those unprofessional peoples?

The hotel rooms need immediate attention.They are not at par with other hotels on the same category.The staff is absolutely courteous and friendly.The buffet breakfast and dinner lack taste and not seem fresh.Front office manager Mr Malik is a very kind person who take special care of their guests.Good Luck !!

Hotel Shivalik view is centrally located in sector 17A chandigarh.rooms are reasonably spacious.. equipped with standard amenities. Water ..tea..coffee service.. newspaper provided. Hygiene standards satisfactory.Hotel has two restaurants including indian . Breakfast and buffet spread is satisfactory. Food quality satisfactory but tends to be on bit spicier side...Staff very helpful. Laundry service good. Parking facility good.Hotel offers value for money. Prior reservation recommended. Multiple plans available. Have a nice stay.

One of the worst place to stay, rude behaviour from room boys, no proper assistance, worst brunch, no response from front office I dont understand why do they call them self 4 start where in the behaviour is like 1 star hotel. My 1st trip to Chandigarh was spoilt because of this and complete waste of money. Never recommend to stay here.

My stay was amazing, and all the amenities were provided cordially and timely. Garden, the sitting area, breakfast buffet, everything was perfect to T. In the morning, it was misty, and the dining looked dreamy with its glass walls. Room was clean and there was timely assistance. Staff was extra caring because I was staying alone.They took perfect care of me every moment from stepping into the property to stepping back into car. Didnt even have to open a door by myself because the staff was there for everything. Best place to stay in Chandigarh.

Not satisfied! The room is not at all spacious, I really didnt like the room.The services are also not much good. It was not a good experience. I was expecting much.The photo I am attaching is the standard room for three persons but it is not at all what i expected. No space, no service!

We had our workshop/training over here. Thus, from that perspective, the arrangement was good, and the food was good. Overall the place had good decor and a welcoming aura. Cleanliness and hygiene standards were well maintained, especially precautions specific to COVID-19. The hotel is located in the citys heart around good markets and other locations, which was a bonus.

Ended up here after decades thanks to Covid 19 and Quarantine requirements. While it was closed for normal ops, the quarantine facilities were very well managed. Food is great. The hotel rooms are huge and comfortable though starting to show age now. A refurb is definitely required and hopefully on the cards as normal ops resume. Look forward to being back to the rooftop restaurant when its open

The Hotel was really nice, neat & clean. The stay was very comfortable. Their restaurant was equally good. We tried the buffet and the food was very well prepared. Would definitely recommend this place.

It was very COVID-19 conscious. Everyones temperature is checked before entering. Sanitizer is enforced. They are very polite and great you very well. Seats inside are distanced . I went with someone for a nice quietish breakfast. It was very good.
