Thanks for helping me. A false FIR had been registered against me when I was not even in India alleging that I had taken money for immigration. I am living in USA since 20 years and why would I do that? I searched for several Chandigarh Advocates and I found that many did not have any experience in litigation in Chandigarh. I could not rely on contradictory legal advice of Chandigarh Advocates. Is it not true that there is only law for whole of country and lawyers should give same advice everywhere? I sent my relatives to office of several lawyers and we found out that they were mere kids. I could not entrust my case to an inexperienced person. After several days of studying my case I made up my mind that I will give my quashing case only to a well experienced Chandigarh Advocate. I contacted Sidhu Saab and he gave me exact advice on legal position of quashing in India. I sent my friends to meet him and they were satisfied with his knowledge. Then I was assured by Sidhu Chandigarh Advocate that I had a good case. Here is my recommendation:-1. Always visit a lawyers office at his residence. An advocate who is not well established should not be handling your criminal case. I have seen that lawyers share court offices with other lawyers in court rooms and chambers and you cannot be sure of their practice unless you actually visit their home office. So I and my friends physically went to offices of several Chandigarh Advocates. If a lawyer told us that he does not meet clients in his home office, we rejected that lawyer.2. See age of lawyer, physical appearance, conduct of lawyer with clients. Judges are also human and these things influence them a lot.3. Check whether your Chandigarh advocates have family practice or not. I had decided early on that I will not engage any Chandigarh Advocate whose family is not in practice already. I could not imagine how a first generation lawyer could handle a complex case like quashing of FIR.4. Most importantly, never give your case to a lawyer who is also a politician. While your case is being heard in court, such Chandigarh Advocates are not even present in court and are busy in their elections.Only after being satisfied with all these, I chose Sidhu Saab as my Criminal Lawyer for Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh. As a senior lawyer, he himself conducted my case. I am forever grateful to him. I highly recommend his legal services.
