GATE GURUS is the best coaching center for GATE in Chandigarh. I am in CSE batch. Anurag Sir teaches the subject in such a way that previous GATE questions become very easy to solve. The way he teaches TOC and Algorithms is unparalleled. Every little thing is taught in great detail. Vishal sir also teaches the subjects in a comprehensive way. All in all, a great learning experience.Even in lockdown, the learning experience hasnt stopped. We have daily online classes. We have had classes at 8PM,4PM,6AM and even 4AM. But all these classes felt like the 10AM classes of weekends before lockdown. Online and offline classes feel the same thanks to Anurag sir. The energy, the concentration level, the atmosphere all feel the same. One is easily distracted at home but not when Anurag Sir is teaching. We dont study the subject, we enjoy it.

Well how do we judge an institute if its good or bad?if you think, its about the number of faculties and the amount of notes and lectures they deliever, sadly you have to get out of the pre graduation routine. Gate has nothing to do with the quantity of the notes and formulas. One has to know how to use the biggest weapon ie Brain. And anurag sir, basically focus on that in every lecture. Sir never focus on the quantity, sir always focus on the quality and to make his students to make use their brains.Now, after lockdown, its a major hurdle for us, we though we might get delays in the lecture and our major time will get wasted. But thats wasnt any issue. We are getting daily live session with every topic cleared with the minute details. If you wont believe............what do you think if you ask college being asked to attend lectures at 4 am?lol, for me if they were, college lectures, i wouldnt have attended them in the evening. But once you study from the teacher here, you wont want to skip any class, and yeah thats goes for 4 am classes if needed. with 100 percent attendence.

Being a last batch student of CS in Gate Gurus ,I was afraid what if my syllabus will not cover. And this ..If statement was on loop for only 3-4 days but after a break statement(after realizing the mistakes I have done in Btech ), Anurag Sir made us realize that to clear concept is much more important than to complete the syllabus. I took coaching from here in 2017 for one year programme in gate(CS). Even though i had completed 3yrs of b.tech but the concepts about the subject were not that clear. I joined gate gurus for a period of Jan-feb and then July - August.I could only study two subjects here as my college was in Shimla and semester breaks were limited ,However the two subjects that I studied were algorithms and TOC , I had never learnt anything in so depth before , starting from the basic the teacher Anurag Sir (for CSE) took me to the level where gate questions were no more a fear .The best thing that happened to me in gate gurus was generation of interest in subjects which helped me prepare even better when coaching was not available.

Gate guru is one of the best coaching institute that i have came across. Faculty at gate guru is very supportive and helpful. I have done transportation engineering from IITD (AIR 243) and currently working in Airport Authority of India.

Truly speaking, it is a bad institute. This institute uploaded my photo without my consent so results are fake. They teach in a hurry & syllabus is not completed on time. Mr. Dixit gupta (the owner) does not listen to the problems of students. Out of 10 only 4 teachers were satisfactory. Classrooms are not good. Total wastage of time & money.

Great Institute, Especially Anurag sir (CSE faculty) who isnt just an excellent teacher but a great mentor as well. Didnt find any difficulty regarding the syllabus or doubt clearance sessions. Batches have around 20-25 students so each student can get personal attention. Positive and Competitive environment!

Useless,Very large batches,no limit of Students to be seated in a room...Students are filled as long as there is a chairs space in left in the whole room,assume it like till the knees of the Teacher.Makes student feel suffocated forget about studying in that environment.Except one or two teachers rest are just unbearable.Money Minded People..no Professionalism.Better study online courses than wasting money for tolerating them.Good Luck :)

Apart from comprehensive study notes, exhaustive question set, one biggest advantage of studying at gate gurus is that most of the technical subjects are taught by Anurag sir, therefore hes able to correlate from other subjects and merge altogether to frame good quality gate(above gate standard) questions,which reduces the overwhelming syllabus burden. I took coaching from Gate Gurus in 2016 and I got an AIR 246 in CSE which led me to do a masters degree from IIT Roorkee.Gate gurus and its amazing faculty has played a great role in my success. The subjects were thoroughly completed starting from the basics to the advance level leaving no room for doubts.The faculty has been really nice and considerate and focused on solving doubts of each and every student.The engaging and interesting way to teach has been a great help. The teachers have experience and deep knowledge of their subjects specially Anurag sir for all the subjects he teaches and the maths teacher(I dont remember his name) .I have referred to the notes throughout my masters as well.Another point that I found really useful was the limited strength of students in one batch.The only point which I thought they lacked during my 2016 batch was not having routine tests of which I think they have improved as I saw their online test series portal and adequate number of tests.
