One of the oldest bakery in Chandigarh, good quality and fresh basics. Not a fancy one -unlike the ones that keep mushrooming in the city and are unable to stand the test of time.Run by an old couple from Himachal- Mrs & Mr Thakur and are always smiling and eager to assist.

This is one old bakery that is still living upto its name and fame. You can buy baked biscuits, bread, pastries and cakes here and that too at fair prices. Prices are however not too cheap though. But the stuff is actually good.

Worst experience. Have lost their dignity in my eyes. Was the best once but probably lockdown hit em hard. Display items seem stale and they try to charge you more than they provide. Wanted 15 petties, got 12, charged for 14... How is that fair??🤬

One of the utterly delicious roll that one can ever have are the Swiss Rolls.To conclude, the decency of the staff is appreciable a very important fact, electronic payments are still not accepted.

Swiss rolls are great ! havent eaten anything this before ,made of fresh milk cream ,which not found in other bakeries,fresh soft rolls ,melt in the mouth.Patties are also awesome really crisp and fresh . Chocolate cakes and pastries are also sinfully great ! Coconut cookies totally out of the world , nowhere else to find ! Small but a great bakery .Must try .Not to forget the whole wheat bread ....

Travelling in chandigarh for a month and came upon Capital Bakery in Sector 10, Chandigarh, India. I stayed in sector 10 for the month. It has the best patties and Swiss rolls. I was amazed to hear how actual same owners have kept this old bakery going with the same great taste. Keep it up and more please!!. Brings back the memories of my College. Always enjoyed the Paneer Patties, it was almost like the daily food for me and my friends 😅. But honestly very good food. One of the best and pocket friendly bakeries in Sec 10. Aunty and Uncle at the shop are really friendly. A must visit.
