Ambience is great. Food is nice too... Just seating arrangement is bit tight. Not much space in corner ones. You may need to wait for tables in the evening. But who cares about that when food is good ...Renovation is really good, ambience is pleasant. Food and services are as usual always good. Price of the food is minimal and Worth Valued.

Quality of the food is Best in Chandigarh by Kumar Rasoi, but they really need to work on packaging of food sent for home delivery via Swiggy or Zomato. It is very difficult and unhygienic to have your lunch or dinner from polythene bag they use to deliver super hot foods. Situations becomes even worse if you order food in office or work place where you dont have utensils at your disposal. Kumar Rasoi manager please seriously work on this!! You serve best food quality in Chandigarh. Your Packaging is total Mess!!

I went this place for the first time with my sister when we went to Chandigarh first time. We both are very hungry so we searches for nearby restaurant with good ratings. We find this. Place is good with enough cleanliness but the food we ordered was not that much satisfying. We order one plate Noodles and kadayi paneer plus tandoori roties. Noodles was fine but worst is paneer dish.If you like spicy food then this place is not for yours.

Bad experience. Firstly nobody comes for take our order. After some time when we place the order and we are waiting for food, they said we didnt have gravy. Then we change the menu nd dal was not dal makhni. Butter to tha hi nai. And roti 🙃. Not recommended Kumar rasoi.

Good Food At Affordable Rate

Kumar Rasoi is one of my familys favourite places in Chandigarh. We have been having their food for over 20 years. Our absolute favourite is their Mushroom Korma with Butter Naan ❤️

Its a food outlet situated near SBI BRANCH 37. Talking about food so its quite average and ambience is good. Seating capacity is limited so generally waits for the turn.

Quality and service is really good. Fast and efficient. And the most important factor is Taste of the food which is great

We have ordered Sahi paneer from Kumar rasoi and taste is good .

Food was ok but service was pathetic (Place is small with 7-8 tables only and was filled completely). Cleaners took their own sweet time to clean tables (rather did after 2-3 reminders). Server not even asked for water. Had to go to kitchen to ask for utensils/ sugar/ salt. And although Punjabi is my favorite language as I think even gali (abuse) has some sweetness to it but for first time there was contempt in owner/ server voice like they didnt needed us. Food though was only one saving grace as it was not too shabby for daily meal.

Snacks served were warm as reheated and not hot. Honey cauliflower had sugar coated on it and not honey. Vegetable dishes were cold or warm in thali and not hot. Only salt and chilly and no spices. Not to visit again
