It is project by Greater Mohali Area Development Authority a unit under Punjab Urban Development Authority . Most of the residential plots are under construction. The area is not well developed as such. The design for the eco city is wonderful. There are lot of opportunities for growth given the proximity to Chandigarh. International Cricket Stadium is under construction. Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital by Tata Memorial Centre is being set up just opposite to eco city on the other side of extension of Madhya Marg. The time it takes to develop to completely develop is the time it will have to wait to establish itself as new hotspot of Chandigarh Tricity Region.
