Its very big and Great park bamboos are there and lots of different types of birds you saw there if you will visit there at any time. Its really a great park well maintained and great environment.

This is only one of its kind in north India. Valley spreads to an area of about 30 acres. Bamboo Valley has various species of rare bamboo trees. This was a part of effort to create awareness of the usage of bamboo. It showcases some bamboo structures in the Valley. A unique experience.

Bamboo Valley is a beautiful garden or park made out of the land which was merely a wild jungle. Spread over 27.5 acres of land the Bamboo valley is located near sector 23 between Children Traffic Park and Government High School. The garden was conceptualize by Department of Architecture and Urban Planning U.T Chandigarh and developed by Engineering Department. The Bamboo valley garden has approx. 15 species of trees, seasonal choe apart from bamboo groves due to which it was named as bamboo valley. The species include 15 trees of Silver Oak, 8 trees of Chakrassia, 2 trees of Kankchampa, 110 trees of Marror Fail, 5 trees of Behra, 30 trees of Akash Neem, 8 trees of Amaltas, 2 trees of Mohagani, 4 trees of Kathal, 45 trees of Amla, 7 trees of Acacia Aurculiformis, 4 trees of Mango, 8 trees of Inter Lobium, 2 trees of Pipa and 2 trees of Dek. Also there are speies of environmental friendly trees such as Golden bottle brush, Phoenix fishtail pal, Podocarpus, Aganthus, Michlia Champa and Shurbs.
