Highly unprofessional staff over the phone. Called the embassy 3 times for a general information in regards to a my existing visa. The representative repeatedly kept giving the same answer and kept cutting me off when I tried to correct her about the question I asked. When asked for her the name the representative hung up the call. I called in regards to an existing visa she kept referring me to visa application process. They really need to train the staff as this is the a consulate phone service and not a call centre for a duct cleaning company.

I dont know what to say but its been 53 days since Ive applied.and still I am waiting for my study visa. And now its hard to control my patience level. Very poor service

No proper sitting arrangements I suggest if u dont have sitting arrangements in Embassy then why u issue large quantities of appointments n one more thing when I visited the waiting hall for others clients there is no AC just a Pedestal Fan people r sweating even every part of building is Fully AC ..

I taught canadian embassy will help out me in getting a student visa.wondering why these people are rejecting student visas. They give a reason for rejecting as other reasons.These guys do not see a file in depth and issues visa randomly.Canada embassy needs a negative rating

I submitted my file to Jalandhar ambassy 30 may and now my 6 weeks are over and still am waiting for my study visa what would i do nowStudy visa processing time is just under 42 days but my file still processing in Chandigarh ambassy since 31 may and now the 46 day is started

Very good embassy. I got my visa in just 1 month

22 minutes were not enough to get me the desired information. After getting the initial line and choosing extensions, the phone keeps busy till about 5 and a half minutes after which it disconnects. Multiple calling got me no results. Not a good experience at all calling them.Hope this feedback helps the consulate take notice and improve on this...

I submitted my application for student visa on 12th feb till now their is no response? ?

Till now no personal experience with them but great expectations with them as its department approved by canadian government atleast no chance of fraud.

Went to this consulate for appointment for notary services. 1st thing I was told as part of the appointment is that only credit card or demand draft can be used to pay for the services i.e. no debit card, cash, online mode and was asked to book another appointment as did not have CC or details about getting DD.This is something which could easily have been mentioned on the appointment confirmation or on the website and would have saved an additional trip for me.However, on my next appointment the service was prompt and my documents were certified in 5 minutes.
