Beautiful place to visit to this bird sanctuary. But currently this bird sanctuary has been closed. So, this place disappoint me. But garden is green and clean.

Simple park with indigenous birds. This is an eco sensitive area with good facilities to conserve the birds and give them a natural uninterrupted habitat.kudos.

City Bird Sanctuary Chandigarh or Parrot Bird Sanctuary Chandigarh is a bird sanctuary situated in sector 21 of the city of Chandigarh, India. It is primarily habitat of parrots. Hundreds of parrots live here. They fly in flocks in the morning and evening from here. There are two parks adjoining to this sanctuary. Behind the bird sanctuary there is a lots of PG for boys and girls.... This area is very good for students ✌️

This is one of the hidden gems of Chandigarh.Visit during dusk and hear the chirping birds. Their number is astonishing given that it is in dead center of an urban area.

Well worth a visit, beautifully maintained grounds with so many varieties of flowering trees. We took the boat tour and saw crocodiles, bats and many kinds of birds. Quiet, clean and peaceful.

Many species of birds are known to be permanent resident here and visiting migratory birds including water birds are commonly seen.Visiting:The park opens from sunrise to sunset around the year. Vehicles are not permitted inside the park.TIPS:1. Hire a cycle rickshaw with yellow plate ( rickshaw puller doubles up as a Tour Guide )2. Lunch / food is available inside the park itself at the canteen.3. Entry Fee is required/ still cameras are free to be taken inside.

It was a very glorious day.....my friends had planned to visit to Chandigarh Bird Sanctuary....we all were exited.....we saw there many birds and the environment was so wonderful.... really we enjoyed a lot... Most exciting was the dancing of the white peacock that we had not seen ever before....

Lots of parrots here. Its moreover an extension of a park than to be called a bird 🐦 santuary. Parrots, plenty trees with green area. Good track for jogging and doing yoga, both young and elder people of the nearby locality come here. Sometimes even students are seen here for study as it is quiet place. The area is lit pretty well during the night.

Its just a simple park. Only local birds are visible. migratory or special birds are not visible

This is situated in the middle of the sector 21 Chandigarh. The area of this park is very vast. The trees in this park are very old,tall and healthy. It gives the feeling of a jungle. So many variety of birds in huge numbers of groups are available here. There fore this is called Bird Sanctuary. People generally comes here for morning and evening walks. Children enjoy while playing here.This is a well maintained park neat and clean.

This is clean and quiet park in a residential neighborhood. True to its name, the park is home to a variety of birds. There are multiple paths for short walks and many benches for resting. The grass seems to be groomed often. Usually this park is not very busy.

A wonderful place for morning/evening walkers. This is only place in the city where on can see thousand of parrots flying in flocks in the morning obviously for their food and coming back before sun set. Watching them flying and hearing their voice is treat.

Did not find any birds. I wonder what happened in this area which forced these birds to flee. Perhaps the installation of bright lights led to this situation.
