This is by far one of the best cafés. Be it food, coffee, ambience, staff everything is so much in sink and perfection. Suitable for all occasions, family dinner, with friends, colleagues lunch. It has such a calm and soothing working atmosphere surrounded by books and aroma of coffee. Must try!

I went to this cafe for the first time and the experience was nice. Its a quaint cafe in the busy market of sector 7 so parking could always be tricky. The order was of Popeye ravioli and enchiladas both of which were good along with cafe latte and lemon ice tea. The only pickle being I was presented with a totally sugarless iced tea when I actually asked for a less sugary one.Otherwise the ambience is calm and serene and is good getaway to eat good food and get some work done from the usual clamour we all are always embroiled in.One thing however, I would point out in the menu, are the prices which are very craftly printed just next to the dish mentioned and not clearly printed across which somehow can create confusion to some people. Or maybe that is the real intent since the prices are a bit on the higher side.

I loved the aura of this place. Infact the food was also delicious. I liked Mushroom on the roof dish a lot. It was Yummy, even the English breakfast too. And hot chocolate. I went their with my friend and we had a great peaceful time there.

The place has a very nice, quiet and welcoming setup. The ambiance is very peaceful and soothing, along with good music in the background. The servers are amicable as well. The food is decent and fresh, but a little overpriced. It is like an upgraded version of Books N Brews(when it used to be good back in the day). Highly recommended for dates, casual hangout, reading a book, etc.

I would like to give this cafe 10 stars if possible. The vibes of this cafe is something, so smoothing and music is also too good. Here there is a section of books where you can read famous novels with an amazing cup of coffee and enjoy your reading. This place is also good for spending time. The staff is also well trained and know how to behave with customers. So give it a chance and you surely wants to visit it twice as this is the cafe in Chandigarh according to me.

The place has a very alive ambience and youd be ogling at the big bookshelf placed right at the entrance of the cafe. Thats not it, the food here is amazingly delicious! The taste, the consistency of flavours, the richness as well as the plating. Not every cafe can pull this off so impeccably. The staff is sweet patient and positive. The place also lends you books for a security fee of ₹500, which will be refunded when you return the book (30 days time limit). This place knows the art of pleasing customers, keep them coming again and again, but most of all, they know how to make an irresistible pizza. Had an amazing time.

What can you say more when you individually devour 2 pizzas!! The paneer makhani pizza is just too good. Very thin, fresh and crispy yummy pizza with sufficient slices to satiate 2 people. Amazing pasta and freshly made peach ice tea. It is slightly on the expensive side, but with a qaint setting, amazing books collection and a decent service makes it an ideal go to place especially when you are looking for a quick junk bite 😀

To begin with food, I would give it 4 stars. We ordered pasta and english breakfast, pasta was undercooked.Second, ordered peach and lemon ice tea, too sweet and too much lime, respectively. Last is the waiting time. If you have all day just for the breakfast and youre a bookworm, its a good place. All the best to the team and hard working staff.

I had heard a lot of praise for this cafe but I did not have a good experience here. We ordered cheese fingers and a mushroom burger. The cheese fingers were drenched in oil inside out. The burger was very average to say at best! The interior has been done using books which gives it a unique look but ultimately the food is what really counts. It may be a bad day for them and they may do stuff better but its difficult for me to give them a second chance.

It is quite good place for book lovers. We visited here while our visit to Chandigarh for a week and it was good experience. We just felt that if it had a little more space and more tables to sit then it would be great as we had to wait for almost 40 min. Before getting place to sit. Ambience was awesome. It felt like a place one can spend hours reading books.We had drinks which were okish.But if someone wants a place where one can chill and read, its a good place to visit.

First of all, they dont know what is pasta. And when you order cappuccino, it should be in a dedicated cappuccino cup. But they serve it in a glass like mug and that too half filled.Taste was terrible. I wont recommend this cafe.

Very cozy place. One of the few places in Chandigarh which have the perfect coffee place ambience. I am really disappointed with my recent visit to the Hedgehog Cafe. Cant expect such kind of service from this premium cafe of the city. Firstly their service is very slow . It took them 45 mins to serve one dish on the table inspite of very few guests in the cafe. We asked our attendant to suggest us the best dish and he recommended the costliest yet tasteless dish named Himalayan. We just had one bite and it was not even properly cooked. Just baked chicken with white sauce. Not worth the price and taste. We asked for pizza and after few minutes they said u cannot order pizza because they ran out of pizza base. The coffee was ok not good not great.They needs to improve in every aspect to meet the other good cafes out in the city.

The ambience is ok but the main moto of the cafe is to serve good food and it fails completely in that. The food they serve is not at all value for money and also not at all tasty. We ordered a pizza and one another dish... Out of which pizza was the complete disaster no cheese no veggies. Its better to order from Dominos instead of going to this place. One more point extremely slow service. Manager was decent to listen our points on their without an argument.

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience in this restaurant, as my photo was taken while I was eating without my knowledge and published in a local newspaper without my consent. Upon approaching the manager about this violation of my privacy he was extremely rude and told me to take it up with the newspaper, the manager even phoned the newspaper demanding the reporter who wrote the story publicizing his restaurant get fired.For a restaurant that prides itself in its international cuisine, it was shocking to know that the manager treats foreigners with such disrespect and is willing to get a man fired instead of simply apologizing to me for the violation of my privacy in his restaurant.

Hedgehog Cafe is a books and board cafe where one can read, borrow books and also play board ganes. We ordered various drinks like tomato soup, hot chocolate, veg berry surpriser which all were awesome. Apart from that we ordered Much a-loo bout everything burger , The Enchilada has landed grill enchilada dish, alfredo in wonderland pasta and the veggie farm pizza. Burger had homemade feel with dips and fries. Enchiladas was great and stuffed with black beans and vegetables with tomato onion chutney. Pasta was thick and little blend for which we asked chef to add some cheese. Pizza was okish types like 7/10 types. Overall a very good place with awesome abience.

Honestly it is one of the places in Chandigarh which has an unmatched aura. It has such a comforting vibe. One would want to leave not before spending couple of hours here, gawking at those piles of books laying before ones eyes at all places and levels. The books and paintings are up for purchasing purposes as well. The food is reasonably priced and is indeed quite delicious !

Swirling blueberry puree into cheesecake batter isnt only beautiful, its extremely delicious. The cheesecake stays extra-creamy and has the perfect tartness to it that will have you saying, just one more bite, another thousand times.

The place is a small cafe in sector 7 inner market but very beautiful and cosy one.Visited the place in the morning of Sunday to write some stuff.Started with a cuppa chino and it was just fine, not great as expected.In food, I tried Rollita which was great. Its really juicy and good amount of cheddar cheese. A cup of americano to complement the Rollita. Americano was really great as it should have been.Staff was really courteous. Manager put on nice smile while saying no to me for Zomato gold as I was alone (obviously he was right in saying no) and offered Americano as a complimentary drink.Most probably be visiting the place again for Cappuccino tart with ice cream (on my list)Overall a great experience. Extra star only because of staff courtesy and Ambience.Sorry but Cuppa chino needs some improvement as I was not able to have coffee flavour from it.

This is one of my favourite cafes in Chandigarh. The coffee, the ambience, the food- everything is bang on. They also have several books which you can borrow to read. And its actually a great cafe to work in on weekdays.
