Very hygienic and tasty chinese food. They have maintained the authenticity in their food.I found it different than other chinese food restaurants. Restaurant interior is very good, specially that dragon painting on the wall is a great piece of art. Services were fast and the staff was very helpful.Will surely visit again.

We dined today at Mainland China Chandigarh. We were disappointed with preparations of dishes. Restaurant Mainland China didn’t live up to its brand name. POS machine was defective resulting wastage of of time. Overall just an average dining experience.

Sulkingly slow services. We have been waiting for good 45 minutes and did not get even a single meal apart from our drinks and kimchi. All the tables are empty around... All they kept on saying is we are bringing the food but ita way too slow to get the food. Really bad services. Definitely repend to come here.

I dont know where to start.I have been here countless times, and even ordered food from this place many times. Most of these times, it had been a good experience.Except this particular delivery experience.Now, let me clarify, I dont have Jain food preferences, but my mother doesnt choose to eat garlic and onion.So, for her first outside food experience, I placed my trust in Mainland China, owing to their name and reputation.The food was packed nicely and delivered in time.And I enjoyed my experience again. And it appeared that my mother did too. Which was until I tasted one of the Jain dishes that I ordered for her.It lacked taste. It lacked any sort of flavour. And there was basically no salt, pepper, chilly in the food. And this was the case with all the 3 Jain items that I ordered.The poor woman was eating the boiled dough shaped like noodles with a smile, to keep me happy.I am disgusted with Mainland China, and while I cant do anything about this experience, I vow to never eat from here again.Shame on them.

An all time favourite, loved the new buffet menu! From starters to soup, there was no space left for the very wonderful mains! Service was impeccable as well.

Great food, good ambiance, courteous staff is all u can say about the place. The buffet they serve is with msg and the menu food can be prepared without msg. The food taste is awesome especially the eight treasure soup, star fried rice, dim sums, lettuce wraps, lamb in black pepper sauce and general tso’s chicken. Although the place requires renovation but overall a good experience.

If you are looking for authentic Chinese prob not the place... everything is over the top spicy moreover and buffet is just not worth the price.

This place is great for some authentic Chinese cuisine! With a wide variety of a la carte menu items, Mainland China also offers buffet which is quite a big spread for both the meat lovers and the vegetarians. The flavors are sophisticated and at the same time very subtle to taste. The ambience is where the place lags behind but as far as the food is concerned, this is a must try!

The ambience of Mainland China is mesmerising and it gives totally Asian vibes (well, of course). The food is amazing and worth a try! We had Crab Chicken and Dragon Chilli Fish along with Rice and 2 Noodles and it was sufficient for 5 people.The crab was delicious and so was the Chilli Fish.It was all very spicy just the way we love it! You can ask the dishes to be less spicy as well.The manager was kind to us too and very generous. The washroom was clean and hygienic. There is also a Bar with Live Music in the Basement and we could hear the Singers voice from where we were seated, on the ground floor.We didnt try the Buffet there but it seemed really beautiful and mouth watering! Pre-booking is preferred there as its almost always packed!A place to go for Asian food lovers!

We visited last night for buffet. We loved the food but service was so poor.We literally left with no food on plate for multiple durations despite asking the staff many times. The manager was apologetic for the delay in service though.

Mainland China chandigarh offers a great buffet and even the alacarte is great depending on personal choice. I really liked their fish in mango sauce and chocolate mousse. It has a Great ambience and is located in one of the prime locations in the tri city region. The offer the most authentic Chinese dishes and have nicely done interiors with the theme of the forbidden city. A great place for celebrating birthdays and throwing parties. Im sure they offer some corporate deals too.

Tried Chicken Momos over here. Got very disappointed. Taste was below average. Momos filling was very normal and very hard. Momos were too hard and had to put in effort to chew them. No aroma/ taste.Servinh staff was also quite ignorant.Overall poor food and waste of money.

Mainland China is a good place for Chinese and Oriental Cuisine. The ambience is good to sit and enjoy the various cocktails and other alcohols from around the world followed by good food. The taste, preparations and layout is good and palatable. Vietnamese soups and other dishes are worth trying.

A decent family restaurant in the neighbourhood of plenty of eating joints on the Madhya Marg. Managed to hold its own for a very long period of time. As the name suggests, the menu is Chinese but other oriental dishes are also available. Very palatable. Not very expensive. Plenty of dining seats and areas. Decent bar with a wide choice. Great service. Utilities are always clean. Drawback is parking. Tends to be busy on weekends, booking is advisable.

If I had an option of giving 0 star, I would have happily given it to them. Yesterday I had ordered from The above mentioned outlet. My entire family got Food Poisoning. Apparently the meat they use was very old and did not agree with our stomachs. I would suggest you not to order food from Mainland China because they serve old food which will affect your health. Also when I called them and spoke to the manager, he was way too arrogant to accept his mistake. My strongest recommendation that DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE. They aren’t cooking the food items properly and serving stale food.

ORDERED ONLINE THROUGH ZOMATO - We ordered Water Chestnuts , Fish , Prawns and Chicken Haka Noodles. The quality of food all in all was Pathetic. Absolutely no quality control on the dish , flavor and presentation. Most certainly never ever ordering a dish from mainland China in a hurry.

What should I say about Mainland China. There food is above any rating. The service they provide is one of the best in the business. It was my dads birthday and they made it more special with there gesture. Excellent....Excellent......Excellent place

Great ambience and really good Chinese. This is one restaurant I know has kept to its brand name. Its a bit expensive but I believe the food is worth it. There is some live music too, which was pretty good. Overall, a good place to dine in with you friends/family/loved ones and satiate your appetite with some good food. Excelsior!

Wonderful staff, we had the buffet, but asked for stir fry vegetables in white garlic sauce as extra.We were served the same with a pleasant smile and amazing flavour.Highly recommended.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Chandigarh, Mainland China has a very good buffet. The range of appetizers and main dishes is excellent and the desserts are also very good.The place is a little run down and doesnt get as many customers as it deserves, maybe people in Chandigarh are not very find of Chinese food.

Nice semi modern Indian Chinese buffet. It has an a la carte menu as well. There are both vegetarian and non vegetarian options.We went for a dinner buffet, the dishes included a prawn with butter garlic sauce, some noodles and fried rice, a elaborate dessert table, soups, 2-3 chicken dishes, chicken basil dumplings and vegetarian stuff.While I liked it overall I think the decor could be updated.

Around 10mints-30mints...the wait is worth waiting for non vegetarian.. The place is on 3rd floor corner right along with pirayes of grills... Good value for price for non vegetarians.

This place is awesome and I would recommend it to everyone. There is ample space here and the food is very delicious. The staff behaviour was amazing with everyone ready to help. The staff was all friendly like and smiling. If you are going in buffet time then go try the desert section its wonderful. The snacks are also very tasty. It is just near barbeque nation and other food restaurants. There are different types of tables at which you could sit. The lion statues around create a thrilling environment. Also the staff was dressed in a way that complimented with the theme of the restaurant. There was also a waiting area and a bar as well. There was also music playing which created a beautiful environment. The whole experience was great. Also the price is reasonable.

Delicious Chinese Food

They are not taking enough precautions. I regretting there.

On 20 May 2018 ,for dinner, I along with my family and guest visited Mainland China Sector 26 Chandigarh. There was an inordinate delay while serving the snacks and meal.The attitude of the staff was very casual and not bothered type.I have left a note to this affect with the Restaurant Manager too.Over all it was not a good experience.One should think twice before visiting Mainland China at sector 26 Chandigarh.

We ordered a lot of food.. everything was amazing. The roasted lamb with devils sauce was the tastiest, the chicken fried rice, the margarita and the blueberry vanilla smoothie were some of the things I had and none of them disappointed me. 5 stars for the service. Best for family outings and business dinners
