The original name of the city was Chaand Si, meaning moon-like (in Indian poetry the moon is considered to be beautiful).Zonal Railway Training Institute (ZRTI) at Chandausi, Moradabad UP is the oldest (and North Indias only) Railway Training Institute, where group C railway employees like Driver, Guard, Ticket Checker, Station Master, Traffic Inspector, Commercial Inspector, JE (signal & Telecom) etc. are trained for initial, promotional and refresher courses. ZRTI is an ISO 9001 Institute. Applicants pass All India Railway Examinations to get admission into the institute. ZRTI is headed by a senior Civil Services Officer.

Neat clean and green station, lots of memories attached from my childhood.

This junction connects railway line coming from Delhi and Aligarh. From this junction you can take trains for Delhi, Aligarh Kanpur Central, Dehradun etc. But the train frequency is not so fluent. So plan your journey accordingly. As this is a junction so trains stops for long span of time like 20-30 mins.

Neat and clean and its a junction who connects railway lines from separate cities. You can change here for Dehli, Gajrola, Aligarh and Moradabad. I dont know about staff but you can take pure and cold water free of cost there 😉. If you like monkeys so there have a lot of monkey.

I love this place because of the diversity of street food which ranges from nominal prices to high ones. You can see clean parks all over the place. So many choices are there whether it be a restaurant or school or shops or any other thing.

Very good condition of Railway station,but due to corona penademic cituation, now a days it is a Vacant position/without passanger.There was every privileges available for passanger before corona period.Only some trains are running/passing। Through this station at this time, no any passenger train is running at this time through Chandausi.
