Chakia is a very nice place and it is a lot of fun to visit there and everything you need is nearby And the good thing is that there is a lot of improvement happening there, I like this thing very much.There is some thing which is not in Chakia which should have been there but I think it will happen later.

There is only one platform but there are three raliway tracks so when the Train 🚆 comes on the middle or the last track then it is little difficult for older persons because they have to climb down to tracks and then catch the train. 🚆There is a parking also for bike and cars both and it is easy to reach here

Lack of awareness in people in track crossing. Walking on track is common.Overhead bridge is here but there is no platform 2. It ends just beside the track which is a major concern of safety. Cleanliness is average.

A good station but still very behind in terms of being a world class station. The space is more and there are two lines. The floor is not marbled and there is no wifi. Good number of eateries are present here.

Chakia is one of the important and commercial city and a Nagar Panchayat in Purvi Champaran district in the state of Bihar, India. Chakia is sub divisional headquarter town and also block headquarter. During the British rule, Champaran Sugar Mill was founded in 1905. sugar cane mill is now defunct since 1995. The associate Post Office is called Bara Chakia. This town is served by a broad gauge train and connected by NH-28. The railway station is called Chakia Junction. It is also the closest railway station to Kesaria Stupa, a Buddhist pilgrimage site.

My Dadighars place and I love my home here, but the city has become too crowded and very less has changed in last 2 decades.. Electricity is also spurious.. Road connectivity a major gain compared to last 15 years.. Oct - Feb good time to visit because of good weather.. For litchi and Malda mangoes, May time is heavenly... good memories...

You cant fine so City look, at fron side, usually concrete and other materials unloading, cement, uria and other.. at station side, small shops 10 no around, at night people dont prefer to staying, halting time of trais 2min , local passengers train used most of time, at back side roads, locally dhaba with basic food and railways crossing..
