Simurali Railway StationSimurali railway station is a railway station on the Sealdah–Ranaghat line. It serves the local areas of Shimurali in the Nadia district of West Bengal.

Shimurali is a small town in the Chakda block. This is just like any other small town.I have only visited Shimurali station a few times and I can tell you that betel leaf cultivation can be seen here.

A small railway station having the basic amenities like public toilets, food stalls, magazine stalls. The station has one foot over bridge. The Road connecting the station and market is always congested. The platform no.2 (towards sealdah) smells stinking due to the wholesale fish market which is adjacent to the station. Coconut tree and ponds are abundantly available in simurali, something to watch out for.

Its the starting place of auto rikshaw for kaliganj, sikar put and many more

Shimurali station come after Madanpur station...It is a very clean station..it has two platforms.Thare is a mobile centre in the platform no.1.This station is connected with NH 34.And also it is connected with the way of Chakdah.it is protected by G.R.P.F...it has a good water supply process.Many peoples are travelled in the local train from this.Over 5000 people travel this station.

A village with railway station. Banks, postoffice, marriage hall are there near the station but still cant say it is a developed village. Roads are poor, good medical facilities are unavailable and very much electricity problem. Police station is far away. But the positive thing is people are living here with good harmony.

Its a nice place...a small railway station but somehow its an over crowded area...roads adjacent to the area are not aptly broad...main market place is located around this station area...and the level crossing (47T Railgate ) is truly a nightmare when its closed...narrow area to move for the vehicles...and if theres a big vehicle like truck or bus or something like that,then everything got stuck for almost 15mins or so...nothing could move...even the pedestrians have to struggle real hard towalk pass the level crossing area...

Nice place of Nadia. Clam, peaceful and medium crowded. Important place are Simurali BT College, Nithyananda Moth, Sanskrita Sangha. Famous festival is Rath Purnima.

Clean and well maintenance railway station...like it

Got stuck here for four hours, because of some agitation going on ahead. About 3 km from the highway, incase you need to take alternative transportation. Totos are available.

Simurali rail station famous due to Fish Market.

No proper accommodation for waiting rooms, there is one but it is closed for ages, the station area is poorly developed, the station is full of garbage laying around, no proper sanitization, spit everywhere, neither the railworkers are well trained er nor the vendors of the station.

MAH PLACE.... BETTER THN ANY PLACE...

A small village under Panchayat administration between Kalyani and Chakdah. Quite an underdeveloped place. However there have recent surge of population in this area. Some places that can be visited are CPT Bunglow, banks of ganges (tributary), Somen Thakur residence in Parani
