Hi guys, just a heads up that the menu on your website still says Tarana@reds. So we ended up going to the mall at Reds just to find you guys have moved. That being said the food was very tasty. Everyone enjoyed it. We were only sad that there was one Naan bread missing from our order once we opened everything.

Best butter chicken and naan we normally get it as a take away and it just amazing highly recomend you try it

Had the mutton roti rolls, absolutely terrible. No flavour, and felt sick afterwards. Tasted like cafeteria stew, not a curry.

Impressed with the level of service we received this evening. Friendly, professional staff paired with DELICIOUS food made for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend it to ALL.

Best, tasty indian cuisine ever. Was a bit sceptical when they moved from the Reds Mall to the Wierda Centre, but the food was even better than I remember. Will definately be returning for more.

I really enjoyed their chicken breyani. My husband also raved about the lamb vandaloo he had. The place is clean.

My Bunny chow stop, Best Indian restaurant in town.

At a first glance the restaurant looks underwhelming. Service is slow due to understaff. But when the food came, WOW! Best curry I have had in years! Man size portions too.

Very good food, nice flavour and decent portion sizes. Only complaint is that medium is not medium heat, it is usually very hot.

I would not order again. Their chicken curry has a sweet taste to it even though I ordered it to be extra hot. Furthermore, I got their lamb briyani with about 4 pieces of meat in it. Definitely not worth the price and extremely disappointing.

Very disappointed. The so-called samoosas taste like oil and nothing else. No flavor whatsoever. The butter chicken is the worst I have ever eaten. It has a weird sweet flavor. Not nice. I have just chucked all the food away. It truly is disgusting! I cannot understand why people rate this restaurant so highly. It is by far the worst Indian food ever.

Really great Indian food restaurant, with friendly and helpful staff and good menu options. Great place for both meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The food can get spicy if you choose so, but its always flavorful.

If you live authentic curry dishes, you will love this restaurant. The menu is wide and variety is the order of things. Try the Butter Chicken and Naan bread, delicious! Also the Kasai Curry chicken is to die for. Friendly fast service and nice atmosphere. Close to everything as well.

Seriously, why would you buy Woolies knockoff when you could have the real thing? Amazing Indian food for the price (any price locally for that matter). Huge portions, great take-out for a night in at the movies .:-)

Great Indian takeaway

This is a great establishment! The new shop looks nice and I would recommend you visit. The only complaint I have is consistency. Sometimes the food isnt what I would expect from tarana but most of the time the food is great. This is still my favorite Indian place. When you go there for the first time I highly recommend their chicken Tikka masala and Rogan Josh.

Tarana has a wide selection of Indian cuisine, items I havent seen on many menus, all very tasty! Ive eaten most of the menu and everything is very good. The only down side is the atmosphere, its very stiff- order your food to go and you cant go wrong

Sit in, their food is great. Take-away, they give you dodgy portions, and it is not the same as inside. Very disappointed with the take away.We ordered the Lamb Half Bunny. Had it before a few times sit in, it was one of the best bunnys ever. Had take away, a week ago, almost no meat in both bunnys, the meat that was there was tough like shoes, when all the bones were out the bread was empty, it had no flavour and was certainly not the same taste as a sit in dinner, I specifically went there for THAT taste, it ws not there. It was as if your kitchen staff made two batches, one for sit (restaurant quality) and one for take out (dodgy). One bunny had almost no sauce, the other one no bread top. Too much of a hassle to drive back.

This has been a favourite for a very long time. Great service and amazing food.

This has now been coming for sometime, having been a regular over the past 3 years. Very dissapointing, will not support again. Take-away. The good: galic butter naan. The bad: Lamb curry (medium) just about no meat in the curry. Chicken korma (Mild) received it so hot I could not eat it, tastless and very small portion. The rice portion are now half the size it use to be.

My new favourite Indian restaurant in Pretoria. Featuring low-rent decor and plastic menus, Tarana doesnt try to emulate the fine dining experience of many Indian restaurants, but the waiters are attentive and the prices are pretty reasonable. Most importantly, the food is delicious. Seriously, go here if you want to maximise your return on investment. Ive been looking for a new Indian restaurant ever since Mehfil in Hatfield closed down, and Tarana fits the bill nicely.

Buffet looked unappetizing. Waited patiently for our food over 45 minutes, with not even a snack. Waiter was most certainly rude, worst service ever, he would smile and then as he turned hes back make a funny face. Drinks were over 30 minutes late considering the place is small its ridiculous. Then had the audacity to say the tip was not enough!!!!

21 Jan 2018.Went there today for the buffet.Waiter by the surname of Sha Sha helped us.Not in a bit interested to serve us.Got to our seat, asked for drinks.Drink order wrong, took another couple of minutes to get it right.Had the curries on offer. The curries lacked flavour. Starters of samosas and chilli bites were cold and hard. Tasted old.At the end when we received our bill, I asked the waiter if the curries are different each Sunday. He replied and said the chef can make whatever he wants so its not up to him. I then asked him again if there would be different curries next sunday. This time he said, while walking away and not looking at us, its the chefs choice not mine and while walking away said something to himself in his language.Very unprofessional and very rude. Wont be going back. I know alot of people rave about this place but in all honesty, they are rude, expensive and the curries are certainly not the best in Centurion.
