This place does great and long lasting manicures and super cool nail art, although its quite expensive. If you go Id definitely get nail art to make it worth the money. They also have free lollies and phone charging outlets at the tables which is nice.
Great experience! Clean and professional. My nail design turned out to be exactly the way I wanted. Thanks again!
It was my first visit to Eightyeight, wonderful experience! Great team with excellent service, clean and professional. I will come again and recommend to my friends
Best nail place in HK! Friendly and professional manicurist, great deco and comfy seats. But most importantly, nail art designs are most up to date!! Always leave a happy customer! ¨̮
It was my first visit to Eightyeight, recommended from my friend who is a regular client. The shop locates conveniently on the junction between Lyndhurst Terrace and Wellington Street. I do manicure regularly so I just expect something very simple and basic. I was lucky to get a time slot as they are always fully booked. Although the nail desk is a bit messy, overall the store environment is comfortable with its black decor and comfy chair. I did a simple soft gel today and favourite part was the massage after the manicure. I think I will try their nail art next time.
I had a big hope that 88 will become the salon. However, I was sitting at the table with the nail dust from yesterday (my appointment was first on the list that day, meaning that cleaning was not done from the day before), the floor was not clean, the lamps they use for gel were all in some kind of polish. I was previously doing manicure & pedicure in my country in a salon where every customer had an individual sterilized and packed set of tools, here I saw nothing like that despite the salon is positioning themselves as a middle rank salon. It was disappointing, now I will need to look for another salon, while 88 has a good location, actually pretty cool staff and inspirational Instagram.
Im so happy with my nails. Celia did an amazing job. I am a costume designer, so I must keep my nails short for work. I loved having long nails, but it just doesnt work in my profession. My short nails make me sad, but not anymore. My gel manicure was done meticulously with great care. My nail art was amazing. Its blown anything Ive had done out of the water. Ive been following their Instagram for months (I live in the states), Im thrilled to finally be able to get my nails done there. Celia is an expert at what she does. And I can truly say this manicure is worth the cos. The Gel manicure is around 550 HKD. And the art starts around 350 I believe. I cant emphasize how thrilled I am. Go here and get your nails done, you wont regret it.
Always a great experience and my nails last so long.
The only good thing about this place is the toilet. The space is tight and no where to put my legs. And having to stare at cheap art for 2 hours. I bought a package here but can never seem to get a booking. They are always full and not quick to respond. Good luck if your relying on their service or on a tight schedule. The technicians are friendly but definitely not experienced and can not replicate the nail art they post on IG. Even though I specially ask for a experienced technician. Also at the end of my package since I have a few hundred dollars balance in the account, I try to book a last minute cheap mani but so far they didn’t even reply my message. Thanks for scamming me out of the remaining balance.
Clean & professional. Used to be difficult to book but now they have a new branch at Landmark. Also check out their sister shop Busybee @ Lee Garden and Mong Kok.
THE BEST nail salon in HK, bar none.
Long lasting soft gel mani and pedi!
One they messed up my mani pedi booking so I had to come back for a pedi the next dayTwo, my pedi took 2 hours (regular pedi) I think they assigned an intern to do it, no joke 2 hours, I think they should have asked me before if I am willing to spend longerThree, the quality is definitely not worth the more expensive prices, I did regular mani and pedi and the didn’t even massage my hands, no cream and the polish is not the greatest
Doesnt seem very hygenic. The nail tech cut me several times and kept hitting the open wounds with her tools. The resut is ok but my manicure is already lifting in places after 1 day, not to mention how sloppy it is. They can maybe do nail art but the basics arent there.
I cant believe I get the honor to be the first to review the fabulous Eightyeight in Hong Kong! Ive been following their IG for months now (@EightyeightHK) and I just knew that I had to give them a call while I was on my annual HK trip.I was able to use the WhatsApp number listed in their profile to set an appointment within the week. They were quick and responsive. When I got there, my nail tech came to greet me and we got started right away.I chose a pink marble set that was already done via IG and they turned out perfect. Seriously, I have never received a better nail art manicure in my life!! I got in and out within an hour and a half- which is super impressive given the many layers to my nails. Eightyeight is no doubt on the pricier side, but Id say its worth every penny for a flawless set of nails!
Bought few courses here already, comfortable environment & quality not bad but quite pricy. I had referred quite a few friends here already.
