The owner Mr. Santiago is a great person and food served by him personally cannot be described in words. Great taste. Lunch with lots of conversation with him. Very down to earth person. Food preparation was very fresh, traditional. Ambience is too good. Must visit .

Authentic Goan food, quality music, courteous staff, good ambience, but dont accept credit card.

Overall, tasty food. The cosmopolitan cocktail was the best tasting cocktail I tried in Goa! Try the masala papads/popadoms and the onion bhaji. Saajan loses 1 star as the vegetable jalfrezi did not taste to a good standard and the spices were not blended well. Having mentioned this to the waiter and also saying that I will not be eating the veg jalfrezi and that I do not want to pay for that dish, he looked at me with the most awful face and said “We never get any complaints about our Indian food.” I found this particular waiter unhelpful, patronising and that we had done something incredibly wrong? After trying to talk us into paying for the dish, he hesitantly spoke to his manager and took the dish of the bill. You will get a much better hospitality and understanding at the Fisherman’s Wharf (a restaurant close by.)

Very good sea food, authentic goan taste, very homely service, enjoyed the experience

I was in Goa with my lil kid, saajan restaurant people were really helpful and so kind that they made customized parantha for us even 6 am in the morning, very nice and hygenic people

Located in ideal French lane.. Hideaway... Not many rooms but rooms r very neat everything is homely.. Colourful bedsheets & towels.. The ambiance perfect.. Food good.. Bar available damn cheap... Service very good.. Owner stays in compound very helpful person as well as his son... Ideal for everyone... Not very crowded maximum foreigners... I love this place...

We ordered some cocktails and one did not arrive, and the three that did arrived after a very long wait, despite the fact we were the only ones there.The cocktails which arrived were NOT the made as they should have been, and after such a long wait we asked them to cancel our remaining order.Our starters were ok.The only reason it is not getting one star is because the owner was apologetic, and after we insisted we wanted to leave, he asked for no payment.Overall I think the current 4.7 rating is far too high.

Excellent place, Mr. Satyago is a wonderful person. He is a chef and will make sure you have a wonder experience each time you visit. I even got him to pack some Goan fish curry and brought it back to HYD on my return.
