Very popular swimming pool which means it could get quite busy and crowded even on weekdays.

The changing room is too small. If the office move to the underneath of the public stands and extend the charging rooms. That will improve a lot.The short coming of the Victoria Park Swimming Pool is eliminated.

The swimming pool is located inside the Victoria Park. Nice pool with standard size, together with the smaller training pool. Changing room is a bit small. Crowded most of the time.

I mean like is quite dirty and the changing rooms are really moistly which makes it smells really bad. The fan in the door front is always on for no reason it makes everyone feel cool. They add too much chlorine in the pool my legs looks like sprite when I enter the water. The smell is just bad I can feel is full of urine. People use this swimming pool for galas but the 50m swimming pool doesn’t have a integrated heating swimming makes it really cold while usage for users. It even cost money to enter! Not recommending this swimming pool at all!

Always a bit busy but i good condition and excellent value for money. Has two pools, one for lane swimming and one for free swimming. Plenty of space pool side for non-swimmers to lurk and watch.

Very well maintained swimming pool in Tin hau, there is a heated indoor pool which is suitable for the elderly. The swimming pool is a standard one which is good for people to do swim training. Very good

One of the public swimming pool built within these few years. The entrance was on the upper floor with stairway for access. The changing room was quite congested with little space left for walking while someone was changing or locker door was opened. The pools were indoor and some lines were rented by teaching centres. Number of lifeguards was adequate and they were helpful and polite. Parents and helpers were allowed to enter the pool area with slippers or barefoot but without changing swimming suit. However, the water would then be polluted. The stand was close to the poolside but elevated to a height that the audience could not touch the swimmers. Video taking and photo shooting were not allowed as usual.

Year round open public swimming pool in city center

It is nice to stay in a community with pool and with nice people in it.When I volunteered for Rise conference I made sure I getto swim in their pool. Best if you swim in the morning. They have two schedules. They use coins in accepting payment.Itcan get crazy in the afternoon as there are a lot of people who swim. But they have good facilities and constant peoplein the maintenance team.

Its a great pool. I see some comments about the locks, however I found they have all new locks that works really we’ll. Just make sure to bring $5 coin to use the locks.

Really nice and organized. Walk upstairs to get into the pool. Its all indoors.The locker rooms are large but jam packed with lockers and benches. You can get lost in there! Gotta serve a ton of people though so its expected in Hong Kong.The pool on a Saturday was expected to be busy. Enough space where you arent bumping elbows. No diving spots. Only a free pool and then the swimming lanes. Multiple people in each lane so gotta watch out not to swim into others.A good spot to swim at after playing basketball outside.

Nineteen dollars to swim here at public holidays or weekends. Nine dollars for kids. You can pay by octopus too. It has pretty nice swimming facilities and is quite new. The locker room is very large, filled with lockers and benches which makes it very convenient. However, some of it may be broken so choose one that works to safe keep your belongings. Outside the pool is a park and a couple football and basketball courts. After playing ball or ruining around the playground, you could go for a swim or just relax at the pool to cool yourself down 👍

WELL MAINTAINED PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL IN CAUSEWAY BAYThis pool is located within a park (one of the few green areas in congested HK Island).Its outdoor - which isnt a problem in hot and sunny Hong Kong!It has staff on site, is very clean and always lots of swimmers.

Clean and quiet environment, whole facility with air condition. Excellent place to work out or playing water for leisure.Be reminded to bring a HK$5 coin for storage locker. This coin will be returned after you finished swimming.

Perfect. 50m swimming pool is awesome. usually 17 hk dollor for enter. weekend, holiday is 19 hk dollor. you can pay in Octopers card. it is very simple. you must bring 5 hk dollor coin for use locker. (when you finish using locker, you can pay back) check out time for swimming. have good time.

Big white elephant it is. It is a shame to HK. Poor design in many ways. The negative comments made by others are fair and should be addressed seriously by the HK government.

Except the changing room is a bit small, the pool is excellent. Better check the lane booking before going because lot of training there.

Nice swimming pool for swimmers... The water can be quite cold but if you are into swimming, that will give you more energy..

Good but have to avoid alot of people when swimming laps.

They keep changing times of opening, cane down to swim today and pool closed apparently it’s closed for a booking! It shuts on a Monday for apparently cleaning but you come on a Tuesday and it is disgustingly dirty, grime dirt that hasn’t been scrubbed! Open on Mondays and lunchtimes and stop pretending you clean because you don’t!

Probably will be a 5-star if the changing rooms were more spacious and the lockers in the changing rooms worked! The locks they use at Victoria Park are horrible... Almost all the lockers I have used are broken in some way.

There are two nice pools. One problem, if you are attending the morning sessions, there is no way to know before you get there if the pool is booked and the morning session ends at 7:30am.

One of best public swimming pool in Hong Kong Island. Convenient and clean. After swimming, Id like to have foot and body massage at Zenxes Foot Retreat in Happy Valley. To my surprise, I can meet many foreign friends who enjoy Zenxes service like me, super!

This pool is totally over-rated. The changing room is dirty with damp floor, the family shower room is gross with very weak shower and molded wall. this is beyond acceptable.

Close quite often as there are a lot of major swimming events. Better check if it is open on the website before going.

If you want a lap swim workout then forget about it as normally theres only 2 lanes open for public lap swimming, plus local swimmers are mostly elderly or middle aged very very slow so you‘ll be bumping into someone every 20 seconds, even if you swim at normal or even slow pace by western standard. Its more like a playground for kids or water physiotherapy centre for elderlies. However, I found most sessions 30 - 60 mins before closure there would be a lot less people especially the night sessions on Friday and Sunday nights so if that fits your schedule then at least you can have good workout at these times twice a week. Shower areas are also very badly designed with cramped benches for a proper changing area, lockers are small some with faulty locks. Remember to get the 5 dollar coin deposit back from the lock after you open the locker; some of the locks are broken so you have to turn the key a few times before the coin will drop. You will notice the cleaners diligently check the empty lockers all the time for unclaimed coins because of this bad design, which becomes a bonus income for cleaners there.

The Victoria Park Swimming Pool is open for 3 sessions per day, from 6:30am to 12:00 noon, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, finally from 6:00pm until 10:00pm at night. Prices are approximately HK$17 per adult per session. HK$8:00 dollars per child or the elderly per session. Oh incidentally, dont plan to go swimming if there is a typhoon signal 3 or upwards, it is most likely that the swimming pool will be closed soon, or already not open. Most government services like the Post Office or even buses will be stopping their services as well.

Good facilities but sometimes it is really full because when there is a teaching course then one pool is closed.
