Amazing experience at 2fat Indians at Carousel. Came here as a late birthday celebration for my mum and the service was incredible. Very friendly and thoughtful staff. Food was incredible and portion sizes may seem small but they are very filling. Would definitely recommend and be returning

Had been wanting to try this place for a while now and my kids took me there for for fathers day. I had the goat curry switch was tasty but from the 7 chunks of goat in the sauce only four had any meat on the other 3 were mostly bone. At $26 for the dish I found this very poor value. What I had was very tasty and all the other food was OK but dont know if I would go back.

This place serves great quality food. Prices are reasonable however the waiting is very long but the food does come out piping hot.Great enthusiastic workers. Would recommend.

If I had an option to rate zero then I would’ve done that. But, just to be fare for the service of staff I’ll say one star is for them.Food was pathetic and on top of it I paid too much for that. I would suggest to go elsewhere as many other Indian restaurants are way better than this and much cheaper.For the prices I was giving, I actually thought the food would be worth it. But, I guess my expectations were too high.Chef’s special Nan, I’ve never had such a pathetic thing ever. Additionally, Paneer Tikka dry was a HUGE disappointment. Huge 4 pieces which should’ve actually been 8 from these.In short, I wouldn’t ever return here and neither will I recommend this restaurant to anyone else at all.Prefer other better restaurants over this.

That was really nice food. I don’t really remember what the name is but came very nice. The briyani rice was yummy with the spice and herb which I haven’t tried before. The lamb was spicy, if you like spicy go for the lamb curry (they have a sign spicy on menu).

Decided to try 2 Fat Indians today and it did not disappoint. We decided to get the shared meat meal. It consisted of 3 entrees and a selection of curries for the main. The flavours were amazing, presentation was on point and portion size was above expected as you could get a refill on any of the curries that you finished.I can not complement the service staff enough. They were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Both these girls went above and beyond to make us have an amazing experience.Compliments to the whole team.

I do not know which school has taught them that 5 minutes are equal to one hour. Why don’t they Just tell the exact time?? I am unable to understand why they lie . Really very disappointed.

I Love this place and the food and service is great. Only dropped a star as the tables they often sit us at inside (for two people) are far too small if you are having a couple of courses. They need more realestate for couples so you have room for the plates, sides, drinks and other accompaniments that come with a couple of courses. Otherwise, absolutely top notch!

Perfect serving sizes, attentive staff, and fast service. The flavour of each curry was distinct and enjoyable. The only down side is the atmosphere of the restaurant - it was very warm, even before we had eaten, and loud, the table was too small for 5 peoples food but too big for the booth it was in. Would have been more enjoyable if we had been seated in the outdoor dining area.

We are regulars at 2 Fat Indians, this time Food was great. But staff was soo rude. We were 10 people went there for dinner. One of us bought a drink (non-alcoholic) from outside. As he was not aware that outside drinks were not allowed. Instead of politely asking, the manager started yelling and ask us to leave otherwise they will call security. It was so embarrassing, people around us were looking at us as we have done something very wrong. Moreover, we booked the table for 10 people in advance but as we went there we still had to wait around 10-15 minutes. As table was not ready. They treated us like we are drunk people as we were all boys. But actually no one was drunk, even 6 people in group are pure vegetarian and never had an alcoholic drink in their life. Was so disappointing.

Tables are placed very close, where you can clearly hear what people on next table talking. Not good when safe distancing is recommended. Food is ok not that great.

As soon as you enter 2 fat Indians you get to experience true Indian hospitality from the smiling staff to amazing food. Every dish we had was perfect and made with love. The chefs attention to detail is fantastic and the menu is exhaustive and caters to every palate whether you are a seasoned curry eater or a curry newbie. We have been here a few times with different groups of friends from various ethenic backgrounds and everyone love love loved the food. Best Indian food in Perth will definitely keep coming here.

This is the best Indian restaurant as long as I have discovered in Australia for 9 years.The interior, services , pricing and a butter chicken curry, a butter naan, a garlic naan and a mango lassi are great so we have been coming here for this 2 years.Actually, because of this restaurant, my family visits Westfield Carousel shopping centre very often.They do lunch specials on weekdays until 5pm so it’s good to come here as an early dinner after a long shopping with kids.

The food waiting was unimaginably bad so we asked the manager may be his name Vaibhav to see what was wrong. He was arrogant, rude & disrespectful towards us. I am utterly saddened by the behaviour & would never visit This restaurant again. Hospitality business means to respect your customers, not to serve them with bad food & nonsensical arguments. As we pay for food not to get insulted.

I tried food tonight, and it was mind blowing. Just wanted to let everyone know that we had table for 6 people and sizzlers were out of the world. Kebabs were coked to perfection. Specially the Goat Biryani was authentic with succulent meats. Thanks 2 Fat indians. We will be back for sure. Once again thanks to a sever who was good with professional service skill. Team 2 Fat you guys truly fantastic.

Considerable portions compared to many Indian places Ive been to. Delicious variety of cuisine from multiple regions of India. Halal friendly. Especially loved the appetizer of cheese-stuff white mushrooms. Forgot to take photos of the food because it once we tried one bite it was a gorge-fest. Some great beers on tap if you like pale ales. Overall definitely recommended.

Tables are way too close to each other, it really makes it awkward. The food can sometimes take a while to come out but once it does it’s good.

The food was great we love it . But we just shocked about the price. If someone not care about money is fine but too expensive and unclear for us . We are first time in this restaurant. We came with 4 people and ordered 46 dollars per person that all food we got on photos. If I ordered for 1 each is only 24.90 per person in normal manu . The problem is my husband just pop in and join us. And I ordered another 2 foods but they charged another 24.90 x 2 for us . Even my husband just eat very small because he just tested it only. The extra i ordered they can change me but not 2 time because they told me if we not full we can ordered it more like a buffet no more changed. All my bills 240 last night. It very expensive more than everywhere we went. We are tourists for holiday. Maybe it’s normal for people here ? I don’t know but I just want to sharing my experience. Buffet only entree and main course no dessert. too long waiting and I quite disappointed for this.

This was my second dining at 2 Fat Indians Carousel. After a 5 Star experience at my first visit, I found myself Googling how I can give a 0 Star for my second visit (Unfortunately, you cant, So here it is, 1 Star). All I had to ask them that I wanted my Curries to be a little spicy, to ruin my family dinner out. For some reasons, the Chef thought it would be a great idea to dump tons of Chilli flakes in the curry to spice it up. Ended up both Curries were totally inedible and we literally had to give up. (I am usually Extra Hot in Nandos spice scale. If I am complaining that the spice was inedible, trust me I know what I am talking about). Dont get me wrong, its a nice restaurant and serve a good quality food, but just be mindful when you ask them to spice up your food.

We ordered the banquets good food but disgusting customer service, went out for a family dinner and was waiting very long they only brought out only 1 serving of food for a group of 7 people. we had to complain to get more food to be served out. Very unprofessional unpolite and not accepting of their mistakes.

Another great restaurant located in Carousels new eatery section.All of your favourite dishes at very reasonable prices. We had the classic butter chicken. Not too spicy so was a favourite with the kids. A rich, creamy sauce. The chicken was very tender and full of flavour.We also tried the chickpea curry (kadai cohle). This dish was more spicier for us adults. All dishes are accompanied by rice or naan bread and pickle for extra spice. There is a huge selection of dishes and lots of vegetarian dishes available. A place for all to eat.The service is friendly and very well attentive. The chef also visited the tables to say hi and to check how the dishes were. That was so impressive. Top points.They do have the desserts as well but we skipped them in favour of gelato at another vendor.I will definitely visit again and try some other delicious dishes.

I will say the food was ok. The thing i didnt enjoy was they tried to rush us out the moment we finished our meal.

Lovely food. Got what I needed. Being a Biryani lover, I was pleased with food. Murg lazeez was a delight.

Wait times were ridiculous after ordering. Expensive for what you got. Ordered something safe; butter chicken and rice with side of soft naan for mopping up the leftover curry. Butter chicken was so dang sweet, naan was a little sad and dry but the rice was ok. Honestly been to better places that are half as fancy but served a killer butter chicken. Sorry guys but its sub par from me. Only giving this a pass because Id like to try it again except not during rush hour to give it a second chance. Just dont go during rush hour, its a bit of a wait!

We dined in for dinner on 25th June 2021.Was shown to a table promptly upon arrival. Ordered a serving of paneer tikka, chicken vindaloo and prawn biryani.All in all, food tasted decent and no complains there.On the other hand, service could definitely improve.We knew that being a Friday night, the restaurant was packed and were willing to wait for our food.The first 2 dishes (chicken vindaloo abs prawn biryani) came out within 15 mins which was great.We waited for almost 20 mins for our last dish to arrive, and by that point, our other dishes were cold.We then asked the waiter to heat up the dishes again (thinking it would take at most 5 mins to put it in the microwave).Long and behold, we waited an additional 20 mins for our food to be heated up 😂😂At that point, we gave up and left.

Hi ,One of the worst customer service and wrong order had ever in Indian restaurant.We booked table for 4 people. Ordered 2 curries one chicken other kadhai paneer.Guy who took our order said later they don’t bother to repeat order mostly.only gave us chicken curry after 25 mins of waiting with wrong Naans .When asked about kadhai paneer they said first we didn’t order and later they asked to wait for another 10mins. Our whole food were cold and kadhai paneer gravy taste like they added paneer in spicy water.I can bet them , any person who know how to make curry can cook much better what we had there.Never going back.Ask my all friends not to go there.Wish could give zero star for food and customer service

They have been very reasonable with their response to the issue, and we have no doubt that it will not happen again in future. Thank you :)My partner and I ordered door dash from here last night. I got butter chicken curry, and he got Tikka Masala. the food wasnt hot when it arrived, but we didnt think much of it, as we know it can take a while from cooking to when it is delivered. I woke up this morning extremely sick and have been unable to stomach any food today. I know that it is this restaurant that I am sick from, as it is the only food I have eaten in the last 24 hours. There is a previous review that was posted today regarding food poisoning as well, which is unrelated to this post, however it is odd that they have had the same experience as us in such a short time frame. Maybe there has been some cross contamination the past 2 nights or we were both served the same old food. The last time we got food from here, it was amazing so it is very disappointing to have had this experience this time round.

This is our favorite Indian restaurant, every time we visit which is probably a weekly affair the food is delicious, staff extremely friendly and the food is served fairly quick. The food is so good my husband who normally shies away from anything resembling a vegetable loves the Vegetarian dishes and so do I. My only recommendation would be that they play Indian music and not western. Give it a try!

The best Indian food in Perth. All the dishes have been amazing. We ate the lamb chops, chicken tikka,samosas, and the butter chicken with naan breads. Everything was absolutely delicious. Having placed our orders, we were waiting for our food to be served when there was a local fire emergency. Vaibhav showed composure and calm keeping us informed, looking at options on how he could make arrangements for our dinner if evacuations had to be carried out.The staff were professional and efficient even during an emergency and the food was heavenly. We went in @ 8:30 and finished our dinner well after at 10pm.Highly recommended!

Went to 2 fat Indians carousel for my birthday and oh man what a brilliant experience!! The curries were to die for and the service was impeccable! Its our first time and it didnt dissapoint! Every food that passed by in our table look so delicious and mouth watering! Staff is so good and friendly and the service is great! Manager was very nice for giving us free buttered chicken to try! Every food we ordered was perfect! We will back again in the future.

Booked for 7 on a Saturday night started of with 3 entrees cheese stuffed mushrooms , popcorn chicken & bahji all delicious & generous size. for mains we ordered 6 curries and the meat board all delicious found the butter chicken a tad sweet but yummy the korma was my least favorite. vegetarian curries had lots of flavour whent for medium heat with all the curries some found them a tad hot tho. food did take a while to come out and the meat tray came out after we had almost finished our mains how ever they adjusted our bill to make up for the error which was nice. food is a bit on the pricey side for Indian but found everything really great staff where lovely, very busy would book earlier if you want to eat before 9 tho.

The only thing I will admit is the rice was slightly dry and servings for mains were small for price. On Sunday 2nd of May, My mates and I ordered uber eats from 2 fat indians, the next day we all had the runs. It is the 4th of May today and I currently still have food poisoning from this place. I suspect that the food they sent us , was old and probably left over from pre-lockout. I have never found the need to write a restaurant review, but I had to write one to see if anyone else has had the same experience from this place. Unless you feel like going to the toilet and waking up with chills in the middle of the night, stay clear from this place my fellow foodies!

Nice ambience and good food, but a bit pricey. The cheese garlic naan is so yum :) Defintely will come back to try their other menu. This place always full of people so it’s better go abit earlier or make a reservation.

Absolutely terrible! The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, then the waiter spilt one of the dishes and the other one was wrong. By the time he came back the rice n bread had gone cold. Then to make the experience even worse, the meal wasnt that good at all. Total Waste of money.

We recently had a meal here on a Friday night and we had an awesome experience. From Ritika who served us to Vickey the Head Chef who personally spoke to us about our food, everyone made it a great experience. My wife has allergies and the Chef went out his way to cater for us. Been to this restaurant last saturday and it was busy so i didnt expect good customer service or food so early but i was shocked to see how good the customer service was and food was delicious. This place is now in my top 5 list of restaurants.Dont know who the chef was but hats off to the chef, such a talent he/she has.Thank you for a lovely and surprising dinner.

Staff were attentive and helpful. The kids loved their butter chicken dish. Vindaloo hit the hotness meter for my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the Rogan Josh. The meat platter and onion bhaji great appetizers.
