I am a practicing medical doctor who had such bad back pain that I was not able to work. I sought traditional medical treatment, physical therapy and even had spinal epidural injections which failed to provide pain relief. With some skepticism I decided to try seeing Dr. Mike Hoffman after a friend recommended him. I was treated with kindness and expert care and after 2 treatments I began to improve. Subsequent treatments continued to improve my pain and I was able to return to work. I am now a regular patient of Dr. Hoffmans and completely grateful for his ability to alleviate my pain.

This is my happy place. I do not love going to the Doctors office but I offer that this particular Doctor and his other colleagues - have changed my mind in a big way. I go in with pain and I leave pain free. I go in with a problem and I come out with a solution. This particular chiropractic group hits ALL THE NOTES. I have seen them for my back as well as my knee - and i offer that perhaps I should see them for ALL that ails me - as I always feel better, I always feel improvement and sometimes I leave feeling just great. Major complaint: I couldn’t sit for more than five minutes because of the radiating pain with tingling sensation and muscle spasms down my right leg.Past History: Herniated L5 discs and lower back pain.Chiropractic Results (It’s a miracle!): After seeking for answers at Stanford, Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Kaiser for a time span of two years and not getting any relief or solution to my problem, my coworker mentioned her husband had seen a chiropractor that used a cox method and gave me his number. I had a consultation and he referred me to Dr. McMurray. I was feeling helpless at this point, years of suffering and trying everything that wouldn’t work (physical therapy, acupuncture, spinal shots or epidurals two different times, pain killers, muscle relaxants). Dr. McMurray explained the cox and activator methods and reviewed the MRI I took from my past hospital visits and after 5 minutes of reviewing my MRI he asked, what happened between ages of 10 and 12? You had a hard fall and cracked your tailbone. At that point, I was shocked! No one knew about this fall, not even my parents. Apparently, this untreated injury caused me to have “spondylolisthesis” a fracture in the middle of my vertebra which allows the front part of the one vertebra to slip forward pressing on the sciatic nerve. There, my diagnosis which the other big medical facilities never saw or mentioned. At that point, we started several months of treatment and after an emotional roller coaster, I finally started feeling better after several months. I was able to sit for longer periods of time. I followed all the homework exercises, drank a lot of water, iced, and even took glucosamine chondroitin tabs to help me rejuvenate the disks (which I loved because they were natural).Dr. McMurray, Maryanne, Umar and Blanca treated me like family not like a number. I became friends with them. They always found time to treat me and were always there to provide support and encouragement. I recently moved from Mountain View, CA to Corpus Christi, TX and drove all the way here, that’s 1,890 miles sitting down! We drove 8-10 hours a day but if it wasn’t for Dr. McMurray and his treatment, I don’t know what the outcome of my move would have been. God has given Dr. McMurray the blessing to heal and help others. His treatments are reasonably priced (if your insurance doesn’t cover them), and they work which is what matters. Don’t let your Doctor or family and friends scare you about going to see a chiropractor with a cox table or the activator method, try it for yourself and you’ll see the difference. You must give it your effort and will power to get better and you’ll feel better before you know it. I look forward to paying them a visit for adjustments when I visit the Bay Area.

I have had the feeling of a knife in my shoulder for two years. I would get adjusted and it would go away, but it would eventually come back. Dr Anne Kim suggested that I try the shockwave therapy. After just one treatment the knife was gone. I could still feel some tension of where it was but no sharp pain. After the third treatment it was completely gone. Thanks Dr. Kim!

Dr. William Hoffman has been incredible!!! I recently graduated from Chiropractic college and have had my fair share of spinal manipulations from many Chiropractors all over the country. I recently had a new episode of non-traumatic acute radiation down the back of my leg. Dr. Hoffman properly evaluated my most recent concern and treated the numbing & tingling in my posterior leg. I was out of town on business when I was hit with excruciating pain, and I lost the ability to walk. Thanks to the excellent front desk assistant, Camille, I received an appointment within a couple of hours; a full assessment was done, and the team began to treat me. By day 3 I was walking to some small degree again; and on day 4 I could safely return to New York by plane. The tag team of Drs. William and Mike Hoffman have improved the quality of my life. Recently they started a laser treatment program on my arthritic knee and hip. Thanks to them, I am now getting a good nights sleep! I have not been able to sleep through the night for several years. After the second treatment, I slept all night without waking up once! I had been treated elsewhere with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and acupuncture. None of these modalities aleviated my pain except for short periods of time. I did some research and found that Chiropractic Soutions has a class 4 laser that they provide as one of their treatments in their office. Doctor Hoffman listened to my dilemma about previous treatment and we collaborated on the appropriate treatment schedule. I am extremely pleased with the results. Im from out of town, working in the area, had a problem I was in bad pain, sharp pain on Friday evening, nothing open, searched Saturday and found Chiropractic Solutions. The staff from that first phone call, thru to getting treatment was nothing less that excellent. After I left that first day, I felt better and Dr. Hoffman Jr. got me back on my feet feeling great in no time at all, after the first visit the sharpness in pain was gone, and tolerable until my next visit on Monday. Dr. McMurray saved me from getting surgery. He discovered my neck was out of alignment, and I had a pinched nerve. With his care and expertise, I was back to 100% in very little time. Im a believer in Dr. McMurray!

Could not be happier! I came in with an almost unbearable pain in my foot, thinking I had broke it. After X-Rays and consultation I was relieved to hear that it was only a bruised bone and their treatment of laser therapy, with other chiropractic techniques would be helpful. I was amazed at how knowledgeable Dr. McMurray was about the topic and it put my mind at ease knowing I was in good hands. After just the first treatment I had a noticeable difference, and within a week of daily therapy I lost the crutches and was able to walk with little to no discomfort! Throughout the process I also received treatment for my neck and back and was amazed at how much more active and vibrant I felt after just a few adjustments!I would recommend Dr. McMurray to anyone. Do not let the chiropractic name mislead you, due to my foot recovering so quickly I can now justify that chiropractic can span past just the back.
