Best Indo Chinese food you will get over here, dish quantity is sufficient and taste of food is similar to Indian Chinese. I wish they will include Triple Schezwan (rice mixed with noodles) rice in their menu. Sufficient parking is available, hotel is taking all precautions during Covoid, you are not allowed to dine in without showing full vaccination card and ID. Thanks again for your service.
At first i was amazed with the nice interior and quiet atmosphere you feel at the restaurant giving you a perfect vibe of dining at a indo-Chinese restaurant plus there menu has a great variety of dishes they can bring onto your plate. We ordered schezwan noodles and hot and sour soup while soap was okay but more sour then it should be and the noodle tasted good and better as they should be and were softer and the manchurian balls in it were soft and tasty as well. The spring rolls were sweet so i bet spicy lovers won’t take the other bite of spring roll without the spicy chutney they have on sideOverall a good experience!Give it a try 👍
Love Hakka Hut! Every dish is awesome. Definitely going to be a staple restaurant for our Chinese/Indian house hold whenever we are craving take out.
You should try their momos. They taste real good. Even better than some stalls youd find back in India.
I will give 5 stars for the food . I called in today for the first time for picking up a family meal for 4 person and I asked about the 10% off on over $30 cash order and the order taker said it wasnt valid for family meals. We went in the store and saw flyers on table every where which was again advertising the same offer ,upon asking the cashier again , he said that owner has been notified already and he is going to fix the problem. Why dont you mention on the offer that its not valid for family meals. You should give a 10% off on over $30 cash orders until the offer is fixed or just remove the flyers and take out the offer from website.I will give 5 🌟 for food and for false advertisement 0 star if I could.
I dont usually put reviews up. I honestly had a hard time rating even one star. This was so disappointing i feel people should know. I went to this resturaunt because 5 years ago it was delicious. Something has changed and not for the good. The white rice was the best part of it all. First they didnt have what I wanted. I had to change my order. The shrimp was so over cooked it was like eating rubber. The butter chicken I was a little iffy on because it was also rubbery. Was it even chicken! The shrimp rolls (which used to to awesome!)They used to give 2, I only got 1 this time and didnt even eat it because it was terrible. Good luck.
The food is good BUT THE FOOD PORTIONS ARE EXTREMELY SMALL! YOU WOULD HAVE TO PAY TWICE THE AMOUNT FOR THE SAME QUANTITY OF FOOD YOU WOULD GET ELSE WHERE. THIS REVIEW IS NOT FOR General public BUT FOR THE OFFICIALS OF THE RESTAURANT TO INCREASE THE FOOD PORTIONS AND BE FAIR AND REASONABLE WITH THE MONEY AND THE FOOD QUANTITY! Thanks
The food is really tasty and good Quantity will definately recommend this place.
I feel this is a very underrated place. We have been there twice and both occasions we loved the food. The ambiance is also good and the service was super quick. The food taste was very close to Indian Chinese back home and the dry noodles which we got with the soup was exactly how we get in India. For Indo-Chinese food I will highly recommend this place. I am yet to try other cuisines here but we will visit here mostly to satisfy our craving for Indo-Chinese cuisines. Will update if we try other cuisines in future.
Food is good. Quantity is good and price is moderate. Halal foods so anyone can try. Ambiance is also catchy. Hope the quality continues.
Great ambiance to dine in and delicious food. Their lunch special deal is a must try 👍
I visited Hakka hut for the first time this weekend with my friends and we were pleasantly surprised at how great our experience was.First of all, the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. There are a large variety of options. The staff are extremely pleasant and professional, the venue itself is clean. I would strongly recommend trying this restaurant if you are looking for a unique and refreshing way to eat Hakka.
Once the best place for having Desi Style Momos (5/5).We had Chicken and Veg ones; both of them were fantastic.Veg. Manchurian Pakora Style (3/5 a little starchy and could do better on flavour) is something I wouldnt recommend.
Not at all good food. Chinese bhel is not even a bhel. No noodles or veggies.Manchurian dry are small balls, cant consider as Manchurian balls. Taste was okay.Wont recommend for Chinese food.
Great Price. Good food. Good portions. Great staff. Menu options. Highly recommended in KWL for Indo-Chinese dining.
Nice food loved the honey chili most. if we had finger chips style cut option too would be great.
The food costed quite a bit considering it tasted absolutely terrible.
Food is so delicious and spices are too good and service is also very good and fast staff is so nice, polite and respectfull. I am 110./. Of 100 Satisfied with service and food.
Taste was not as expected...... Huge Disappointment.
I ordered today for my family and guests I specifically asked for the dry Chilli chicken and dry sesame chicken but the person taking my order on the phone told me that it would be better to have take it with gravy as the gravy won’t be that much it will iy be a little sause but when I opened the lids the the chicken was floating in the gravy and the dishes were tasteless. Posting the pictures as well do take a look and advise if that looks like a chilli chicken or not.
Nice Food always , however when the owner is there it seems food is better . Rice this time seemed a little crunchy rather than soft but still good food. SZehuan spicy rice is the best in deluxe style.
They have a great variety of choices and amazing taste. Good quality with authentic taste. All the food we ordered were delicious, which is rare to find.
We ordered lollipop chicken, chicken corn soup, spicy garlic chicken, szechuan beef, house hakka fried rice, and house hakka shanghai noodles.Chicken Corn Soup was watering. DisappointedLollipop Chicken - slightly overcooked by a min or two but they are literally the highlight of the night.Garlic Chicken and Szechuan Beef - it tasted as the meat had been cooked seperate from the sauce and been mixed in the end. It was watery as wellHakka Noodles overall decent - had a slight smell of old seseme seed oil or something similar. Had that old oil smell not been there, they were decent as well.Hakka Fried Rice - used basmati rice instead of the typical chinese rice. This is more of a personal preference, but overall all good rice.Total Bill $114 for 4 kids and 4 adults. Overall a bit overpriced.
Good portion size. Amazing authentic Hakka food. Very fresh and delicious tasting, I will definately be back, and I am recommending my friends to go here
We enjoy eating out and trying different cuisine. Hakka hut is a little gem 💎 in Cambridge. Decent quantity and very reasonable price. My top favorite items over there is friend coli flower, chicken lolly pops, momos and a beef dish I do not remember the name 😋
Nice customer service with delicious meals. I love their noodles served with spicy chicken.
Terrible food...!! I ordered soup, noodles & Manchurian, chilli paneer. But, everything was too bad.. no flavour!!
Great Hakka food..great price.I have tried so many other places but if you like that hot dishes with good chunk of meat pieces..this is the place.
Food was ok. Service was ok. Really nothing to write home about. The szechuan noodles werent bad. The chili fish was a bit weird. And even had green peppers in it. First time Ive seen that ever and honestly pretty weird.Taste was kinda average joe. The hot and sour soup was ok too. Again pretty average overall. And above average prices.
Food taste is good but bit pricey.
One of the best place for Indo -Chinese cuisine. If you are tired of authentic Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine and missing the Indo- Chinese food taste back from Asia, you have to try this place. Food was great as expected. The chicken in chilly chicken was not soft according to me so I will give this a 4 star. Will definitely look forward to revisit this restaurant multiple times in future.
Worse Chilli chicken ever ...even chicken tasted like fish may be frying in same oil I took one bite and threw it away ....past 20 yrs ilthis is the only place gave me eeeeeewwwwwwww feeling....dont waste ur money I should ask for refund
Firstly, I know I come here and i shouldn’t expect fine dine service, but waiter asks you to sit on the table and cleans it by spraying glass cleaner while you are there it is not accepted anywhere. Although food is great but I wouldn’t come here due to poor service. 1 star just because of the food. Really don’t recommend.
We tried their food for the 2nd time and it wasnt as good as last time. Previously we loved it very much and decided to try again and was disappointed. The taste, quantity and quality all have changed. Hopefully they will bounce back after the covid restrictions ease.
It is a good place to satisfy Indo-Chinese tastebuds. Giving four stars just because I think that the service was not up to the mark. The food was good. Crispy Chilli Paneer is a must try. I have ordered Manchurian Dry and with gravy, both. And I liked Manchurian Dry more. For Veg. Spring rolls, it is a big no-no. If you are going during peak time, please book the table beforehand.
I visited Hakka hut for the first time this weekend with my family and I was pleasantly surprised at how great our experience was. Loved their Chinese bhel. Awesome. The same indo chinese taste and spice i was looking for.First of all, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. There are a huge variety of options. The staff are extremely pleasant and professional, the venue itself is clean. Waiting time to get the food was hardly any. Service was quick. Although it was a rush, staff was at all smiles and fast. Yash did a great job serving us.I would strongly recommend trying this restaurant if you are looking for a unique and refreshing way to eat Hakka.Portion size is nice but not great. Royal Garden in Milton has huge portions. Hence reducind 1 star.
Really enjoyed our first visit here in 2020. Nice interior but food did take a while to come out. We were happy with recommendation from server and have since gotten take out a few times. Noodle portion sizes are substantial. Will return.
Good food, fast and friendly staff/service.
Very tasty Indo Chinese food. Love Manchuria the best
I liked the customer service here. Food was very well made and the portions are very generous. If you are planning on dining in it will be a good experience as the service is good. The restaurant is kept very clean and the condiments are always filled. The taste of the food is on par with what you would find in a restaurants if you go to the KW area, Guelph or GTA. The resultant is
Manchurian Dry is as good as street Chinese of India. Wouldnt recommend Paneer Chilly - Paneer had a very wired taste.
Ordered chilli chicken and got a soup! They soak the battered chicken in so much disgusting gravey.Food was awful. Spring rolls are out of a box and are bite sized but they charge almost 2 bucks for them.Avoid if you are familiar with good hakka food.
Great lunch special! Soup or pop, 2 spring rolls and your choice of a main which comes with white rice, all for $10! Very large portions and service was quick. Owner is very nice too.
Its really nice for indian food. And service is impecable.Good quality and quantity
Really good Asian/Indian cuisine. A lot of food for the price
Good Indian style Chinese food.
Their momos are a relatively new addition to the menu. Absolutely delicious. Quite spicy too so beware! I recommend their pan fried chicken momos but their steamed ones are good too, albeit slightly healthier.
Ordered for the first time and was so impressed. Everything was delish, this will be my new go to for indo/ Chinese food.
I wish I could post a pic.we loved it so much never thought of a pic.yummmm
At first it looked appealing, but they messed up my order. Very disappointing that we drove from guelph to cambridge just for this. (Sigh) Finding out when getting home knowing it was wrong order very upset me. Not going to reccomend them or go there again to be honest. :(
Food was delicious, portions were good and the staff was awesome!
Sexy food and awesome staff💥
Food is okay. Tried their food on several different occasions the quality keeps going up and down. But have turned out to be okayish most of the times.
Place is usually busy with traffic and they always make me wait for my pick-up food BUT the Hakka is delicious enough to make up for it. I especially like the Chile chicken. Big, tender chunks of meat absorb the delicious sauce. I usually use the rice to absorb whats left. Its messy to eat but very tasty.
One of the best Indo-Chinese takeout in tri-city. Do try their Hakka noodles with Manchurian balls !
I must say I love their food. I ordered veg manchurian And veg Singapore noodles it was sooo good. The guy who took my order was so sweet and nice too. I would definitely recommend this place 9/10.
The dining hall is clean. It ends there.Social Distancing is unheard of at the place.Portions are minimal for the prices charged.Taste is subpar for a Chinese/Thai restaurant.Non-veg were overcooked/hard/chewy. Flavors lacked any authenticity.Water was poured by the server from a jug into individual glasses - and it tasted really funny. We did not take a sip after the first one.The server was absolutely wonderful - explaining in detail about the dishes. Cannot say the same for the Supervisor whom we had to request for an extra dish when the main course was served and we realized we short-ordered as we wrongly assumed the portions sizes. The gentlemans response and behavior to our request left a lot to be desired. In a nutshell - Hakka Hut needs an improvement in food quality, value for money and customer experience. Will go back one more time to give them a fair chance as it could just be a bad day - but if it turns out to be a similar experience - then there are other places around worth the spend!
Worse customer service ever. Making the customer pay for your mistake? And on top of that the manager lies to avoid confrontation? Never coming here again!
Does your chef even know how to cook Chinese bhel ?There are no noodles, no rice, no manchurian. Only vegetables and “ Chinese sev”.Please use YouTube for reference. They have all the recipes.
Do not depend on timings, it’s a misleadTravelled for 30 mins and the restaurant is closed for renovations 😒
Update March 18 after owner reply: Ive emailed you as mentioned but I dont know what else explanation or information is required.Update March 14,2021: rating reduced from 4 stars to 2. Ordered pan fried chicken momo again as my mom liked it ,turns out only 10 small dumplings in $15.81. Not good value of money as per quantity. Highly disappointed.4/5 due to chicken pan fried momo. My mom loved it!Chicken hakka noddles contain less chicken (3/5) taste was average. I have tried its fried rice before that was (4/5). But need to work on certain curry/gravy items.overall a good experience.
Best Hakka Manchurian Fish in Canada. Nobody cooks it better. Its so delicious and tasty. Im here pretty much every weekend for a take out. I live in Brampton but I dont mind going all the way to Cambridge. Its totally worth it.
Truly great food here! As good as Hakka take-out gets!
Had Hakka noodles and vegetarian manchurian here. It was good!!
This place used to be good a year ago the quality and quantity plus the customer service went down the drain
I have visited this place for more than 5-6 times and every time I had a great experience. The food is amazingly delicious and a lot in terms of quantity as well. Staff is also helpful and considerate. In terms of service and wait time for food, its great as well. This is my one stop for Chinese food.
My first time today, dining room very clean and nicely decorated. Food came quickly and was very good. Had the Pad Thai and Paneer Butter Masala. Both were very good. Many vegetarian options. Will definitely be back. Very polite and good service. Thanks!
The food is always fresh and delicious! This is my go-to place every time I feel like eating out.
Enjoy ordering from here only when we dine in. Unfortunately when ordering take out or using delivery services there is always an issue with the order. Special instructions are ignored and on a few occasions beef has been provided instead of chicken. If requesting mild spice level it is ignored. Not sure if the demand increase has impacted the quality of service for take out orders which is resulting in errors. Hopefully management can review their processes so it does not result in loss of loyal customers.
Probably will not order again.Had three dishes:Pad thai- ok. Not much flavour, mostly noodles but edibleGeneral tao chicken- dish was decent, but a little heavy on the sauce. I expected it to be a bit more spicy.Spicy Garlic beef- disgusting, no flavour, just terrible, kind of slimy even.
It used to be best takeaways few years back ..not any more..veg schezwan was nothing more than boiled veggies in red soup without an iota of taste..pls bring back the old taste n quality
Yummy Indo chinese food. Craving for some Indian spicyness then this the place to go
Good place for chinese food in cambridge area must visit
Dinning room still closed although Cambridge is no more in lockdown state. Ordered chicken Manchurian soup which was excellent.
Tasty and very good service
The food was amazing! Love the mango salad
Best manchurian in the tri-city
The food quantity is good and their service is very quick. Everything is the best here but you must try the veg fried rice with manchurian gravy! Taste is really good. I always come here with my family and I would 100% recommend this restraunt to all
Food was disgusting, too expensive. Chicken was Oil burned smell yukkk. they charge me for single ketchup. Greedy people in town. Dont waste your money.
