While the surgery was busy, the staff were efficient in time management and helpful to those of us waiting for our appointment. The waiting room had sufficient chairs and enough room for all of us to social distance. There is on site parking and the medical practitioner who attended to my needs was courteous and able to assist me. Apollo has been my local gp for many years now. I have always had good experiences with them. The staff are helpful and polite. My doctor is fantastic. I don’t dread going to an appointment like I have in the past at a different practice. Thanks guys 😌

A stuff up on my blood pressure left me very anxious and shaky. The nurse had trouble seeing my height . And my injection hurt more than usual. Poor communication with nurses teamwork.

My wife and I are patient from Dr. Leticia and she is is an awesome doctor. However, the receptionists from Apollo General Practice are horrible. They dont have any kind of patient and dont try to find the best solution for the patient. My wife is experiencing bleeding while she is pregnant and they did not try to reach Dr. Leticia. We are very very unhappy with this poor attention by the receptionist called Colly (I think that is her name).

I visited Apollo GP for the first time yesterday after using another medical practice for over 12 years. I found the practice to be professional and well organised. The staff are very busy but efficient and Dr Nechyporenko was thorough and I felt that he actually listened. Overall Im very happy with this practice and would have no hesitation in recommending same.

Had to wait 90 minutes for an appointment. This would be fine, I understand that not every patient can be dealt with in the short appointment times, but Lisa in reception has the temperament of a bovine creature.The other reception staff were lovely, and Dr. Rania Hussein is great. I will still see her at the other clinic where she works.

Poor customer service at reception.I made an appointment 2 weeks apart, as a 1st time, live 20min driving. They call me same day asking me to attend 30min earlier cuz doctor had to leave early, so had to change my schedule to assist, but they made me wait 45min at reception and they didnt explain anything regarding why the appointment was late. I saw doctor calling other patient meaning I was gonna wait more. I couldnt wait anymore so had to cancel, they didnt even asked why I was leaving, no apologies, nor offered new appointment.This is not about the doctor I didnt even met, its about the bad service at reception also by phone.Understand theyre busy, but there are other kind ways to treat patients.It is not a favor, it is a service, they were charging me full price, therefore I was expecting full service.Very disappointed! No keen to come back or recommend.

Easy to book appointments, don’t have to wait days to see the GP. Always feel listened to and concerns with health are dealt with. We could go to a closer surgery but we are happy with the GPS we see and the service.

My first visit which was quick, efficient and friendly. As a new patient I used the electronic new patient form and didnt have to repeat it on arrival. Reception staff were friendly and got me and out quickly. The Dr was great and booked me in for my next appointment on the spot. All round good experience for me.

My lovely doctor and the incredibly caring nurses took such great care with me today whilst having some painful surgery bandages removed. Thank you so much for you kindness, patience and care.

So annoyed this practice is no longer bulk billed. :( still bring my kids here but I’ve had to change. Always expect to wait an hour to be seen and you won’t be disappointed- especially for dr. F Gabrielle who seems to type notes for 20 minutes between appointments.

The staff were friendly and helpful, only a short wait before I saw the doctor and he was fast and efficient. I will visit here again when I need medical care.

DR Nash is absolutely fantastic. It is difficult to find a doctor that takes the time to listen, shows genuine compassion and explains things to you so you understand treatment options etc and he is great with my two year old daughter. The receptionists are lovely and so are the practice nurses. They have all been wonderful. I highly recommend Apollo general practice.

I made an appointment here to organise for another steroid injection into my shoulder for a pre existing condition with Doctor Peter Kamen. Before entering his room I could hear quite a bit of yelling over the phone obviously in regards to the last patient which immediately put me on edge. Once in the appointment Peter was most unhelpful in regards to my problem. Refused to address my pain issues correctly and requested I have my shoulder completely reassessed before ordering a steroid shot. This clearly was delaying treatment for what I know as the patient was the problem. This man was stubborn and quite ignorant in regards to what I as the patient needed. Being from SA it was obviously difficult to get my records to him but once that was done Peter still refused to write up a steroid shot. Having been in approximately 8/10 pain for 4 days I left the clinic feeling worse than when I arrived. As a last effort I decided I would have to call my surgeon back in Adelaide direct, I’m so pleased I did as he got the shot and pain relief organised within 5 minutes! Apollo surgery you need to lift your game and to Peter Kamen you really need to learn to listen to your patients rather than being a know it all, grumpy, pigheaded person. Otherwise give it up buddy!!!

Somewhere in between! All stars go for Dr Leticia Figueiredo for 2 years of care. Reception staff are always hit and miss sometimes you will get some cranky/rude sometimes you’ll get the most lovely helpful ladies! Seen other doctors through this practice and I felt dismissed and judged which is quite common for people who are medicated for a psychiatric condition. Communication/notes around things like medication should be vital for things that i may need on short notice and monthly appointments that i need for scripts. Dr Leticia has been great to me and for me, it was hard to find a GP who had a genuine interest in mental health. Thanks 🙏

I don’t usually do reviewsGee where do I startFrom the time I booked my appointment online I have submitted my medical details 2 times then on arrival at reception after given the cold shoulder by the disinterested receptionist I was given yet another form to complete.Glad I wasn’t there for a really serious illness. From the moment I was summoned to Dr Leticia’s room I felt the don’t care factor, she was more interested in putting her long hair in a bun with a scrunchie she had on her wrist from there she asked a couple of questions regarding my symptoms then suggested that if I left my employment my symptoms would disappear. SORRY - NOT AN OPTION. I just wanted some relief. Total waste of my time & money. I’ve lived on the coast for almost 7 years & have yet to find a doctor that gives a damn. I’m not tourist. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or the only Doctor you find is not available when needed.Back to reception to pay for the visit after about a 5 minute consult to have to deal with the disinterested receptionist AGAIN. Very condescending - asking is I was on some kind of welfare & making me aware that I had to pay for my consultation. UM I’ve never received handouts EVER....HOW DO THEY KEEP THEIR JOBS.EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Felt like a second class citizen.

Started off disappointed to see my booked appointment was suddenly with a Dr I was not familiar with. Then, delighted with the assigned Dr, who I hope to adopt as my regular for all further appointments! I have attended Apollo for a number of years. It looks as if this will be continuing for many more

This morning Dr Mohammad turned that bad experience around for me and did a great job. He listened to my needs, and gave me clear direction on whats required to get better. Thank you.

I dont recommend this practice.The reception staff are always serious, not friendly.As is close of home, we try to go there more than once, we saw 4 different doctors, 3 of them were super serious and didnt tried please my 1yo baby (who was the patient and got scared).The GPs didnt try to solve your problem just want finished the appointment.

Dr Figueiredo is excellent. Very knowledgeable and remembers who we are and previous visits. I am very happy with her care of our children. Always glad to see I can book with her. Thank you.

Excellent practice. I have the support again whilst going through Chemo. Very disappointed about the decision of no nurses weekends and closing on Sundays. Not good idea for a practice that built up services etc and now people dont have that. Ocean up the road dont seem to have done that to their practice. Why Apollo??? Not good for the practice at all. I am so glad I still have the support from Dr Dmytro.

I and my husband was with Apollo since 2006 until we move to Adelaide in 2011. Now we move back to Caloundra this year and we back again with Apollo . My husband seeing the Doctor as before. Most of the staff are still there. They are friendly and very helpful. As we get older , we are very greatful to be in the right place ,and good people to deal with our health.Good Doctors and friendly staff who always smile to help their patient .Thank you for all your help and caring .And we want to say thank you to Dr.Mohammad and Dr. Gabriel Fatin . I made an appointment on a Saturday as my usual doctor does not work weekends and I needed to have a diagnosis. The doctor I saw ,Dr Nash , was exceptionally efficient, explained my symptoms, arranged further treatment and forwarded a report to my usual doctor. I was thoroughly satisfied and would recommend this practice and doctor unreservedly.

I cant praise the Apollo practice enough.Drs de Maroussem (who I normally see) and Mahmoud are absolutely terrific, and combine undoubted expertise with a willingness to listen and discuss issues.The staff in the practice are very friendly, efficient and professional. The computerised check in and SMS reminder facility is just perfect.All-in-all, while I detest having the need to visit doctors, those in this practice make me feel as if I am the only patient they have.Medical care is a term widely used.... the word care is very appropriate in describing all the staff, both doctors and others, in the Apollo practice.I only hope that these few words can express my appreciation.Thanks folks for all you have done for me.

The service I just received from an admin staff lady at the front counter was rude and arrogant and not the sort of person you want serving you, especially in a medical centre. This woman was like this the last time I was in Apollo and it wasn’t to me it was to Dr Gabriel, where she rolled her eyes behind her back when asked to turn on an air-con in a procedure room. If you are not aware of your poor behaviour and customers are observing this and you don’t hide it, you clearly need to find another work place that doesn’t involve dealing with people. I won’t be returning to this medical centre.

I feel comfortable and confident to see for my own doctor. I am satisfied without hesitation.but I noticed mydoc app of appointment, I took only one appointment with Dr.Fatin at 11:50am today.but my doc app showing a double appointment with Dr.Fatin at 11:20am and 11:50am today.thats very comfuse and hope it wont cost.however Dr.Fatin is wonderful person that kindly explain snd answered my question.Thank you.

Truly a fantastic general practice full of the most hardworking staff I have ever come across. The level of care I have experienced here is second to none and, even during busy times, they are able to make you feel like you are getting the best service possible. I have needed to attend a few times with my young son for his immunisations and Ive never known him to get so excited to go to the doctors as he gets when we attend Apollo. From walking in to reception, to visiting the doctor and then seeing the nurses, everyone was absolutely wonderful and helped my little boy feel so at ease. Thank you to everyone at Apollo, keep up the amazing work you all do!

Whilst the doctors and nurses are great here, the receptionists are incredibly rude. Attempting to do something as simple as book an appointment is met with attitude. I would not recommend this practice until they can get a handle on the very poor customer service that they currently provide.

Apollo Doctors, Nurses and staff always go above and beyond to care for patients. Their care and compassion is outstanding - we wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I arrived at the desk on a Sat morning with an acute asthma exacerbation. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and told me where to go to see the nurse. I was seen immediately by the nurse who was reassuring and kind and started immediate treatment. I was seen quite quickly by Dr Jean-Marc. De Maroussem who was also very friendly reassuring and easy to communicate with. He had a great manner and was extremely helpful. Being away from home this all mattered a lot and I am so appreciative. I really want to thank these people who cared for me. I am a Practice nurse from NZ and recognize quality care. Thanks so much.

Every time I come to this practice I am treated wonderfully with such care and love and they are so client focused I would and do thoroughly recommend this medical practice to all my family and I have never had such a dedicated doctor who looks after me as well as Dr Ayman I feel he really cares about my well being

I have always found the staff helpful and most visits there is only a minimal waiting time

Ripping off the system. All appointments are initially Telehealth due to Covid-19, before you can visit the practice. They are getting paid twice for two appointments each time. My daughter has an ear infection, how can that be checked on the phone? Surely there are more honest ways to check if visitors are healthy before attending, than ripping off the system and wasting everyones time.

I have been going to this practice for nearly two years and am very happy with it.

Staff are brilliant and courteous.Easy bookings and self check in via Hotdoc.In particular Dr Jean Marc has literally been a life saver to myself and my children. As with all practises it can get busy but staff always try their best to fit you in.If you are looking for a practice that will actually care about your specific needs, this is the place.

I would like to highly recommend this practice been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. My whole family is treated at this practice and whether it be emergency or a script needed the lovely receptionist fit us all in and are so understanding. Used to have a little bit of a wait for our appointments but since they removed the walkins appointments they have always run to time and they are the first doctors I have been to that I dont feel like they are rushing me out the door. HIGHLY RECOMMEND APOLLO !!!!
